I called in my lunch order of Bistec Churrasco at 11:45 am and was told that the order would be ready in 15 mins, I reached the restaurant at 12:18pm and they hadn’t even started grilling my steak. Otherwise the steak was good.

The wait staff is friendly, the food is quick, and I just love that I don’t have to sit for half an hour to get my food. They don’t play a lot of mexican music like other restaurants do. Other than that i love taking out or dining in!

I love love authentic mexican food. This place was amazing. I love all their locations. Service was great the food came fast and it was amazing. I order huarraches de cesina. Omg it was sooo good

Great food & attentive service! Ordered the shrimp quesadilla & it was divine! They serve huge portions. Spacing is limited but worth the food! The sangria was good also! And the sauces were flavorful

I order here all the time the food is pretty great! I often order new dishes because I know it will be good. My favorites are the taco salad, the tacos, guacamole, and any of the traditional dishes.
Things to watch out for: I do wish that they were nicer and thoughtful to repeat customers. They forget side sauces all the time and the portion sizes fluctuate all the time. The traditional dishes that are not often ordered arrive cold as if they weren’t heated all the way. You make sure the you microwave those dishes for a minute before eating.

Great place to go in the Bronx! This place has super large portion sizes at reasonable prices, and the staff are always extremely nice. The food is great, definitely try the green sauce they have here. Gone here a few times and haven’t been disappointed yet.

Absolutely great Mexican food spot to go to in the heart of Little Italy. Yes it is small and gets packed but for all the right reasons. Food is amazingly delicious and Service is great!!! Prices are extremely reasonable especially considering how large the portions are and did I say delicious! Thanks to other Unilocalers reviews my family and I went there last night and left with very content bellies!!!

By far the best Mexican cuisine you can get in the Belmont area. To start, the sangria is very good and the guacamole is a must. I’ve had the burritos, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and fajitas with various meat and veggie fillings. All are a good choice and come with a side of rice and beans.
It’s a tiny place, so expect to wait a little while during rush hours. Also, the service leaves something to be desired. They are friendly, but not terribly prompt and rarely come to check/​fill water. Still a fan and will continue to come here!

Love their food. Their chicken nachos are the best nachos I’ve tasted in my life. Their tostadas & Posole are amazing too. The only thing I don’t like is their horchata. It taste like pure milk but their tamarindo taste very good.

I was in the Bronx for work and stopped by Arthur Ave for lunch. I had plans to eat Italian later on so I decided to walk into this place.
I was amazed at how good the food was. It is really hard to find good Mexican. This is it! Check out my photo.

It’s pretty much the best Mexican food you an get around this area. I recommend the tostada de pollo, add some of the green sauce.
I really wish that they had a better seating arrangement because it’s such a small location and extremely busy. Tables are badly placed.

From the drinks to the food everything here was great. I’ve been to the other ones in the Bronx and there good but no where near as good as this one. I have been to the ones on castle hill and on westchester square but the one on Arthur is the best

This Estrellita Poblana is off the charts.
It’s small so you have to hope for a seat or order to-​go.
I can vouch for the tacos al pastor, quesadillas, fajitas, guacamole, and chimichangas and all of the above are delicious.
They serve a great chips and pico de gallo as well plus they have Jarritos and all of the other traits of a good authentic Mexican restaurant.

Great authentic Mexican food. Great place to come for pitchers of sangria to shoot the shit with friends.
Absolute killer tamales for $ 2.75. Greasy deliciousness wrapped in the banana palm. So big and filing that it could have been my whole meal… Of course it wasn’t though.

La persona que contesta el teléfono en este restaurante es muy prepotent, no tiene el más mínimo respeto hacia los clientes y cree tener la razón en vez de tratar de ayudar al cliente. Si no fuera por el negocio que nosotros como clientes les damos ninguno de ustedes estarían trabajando. Muy mal servicio. La comida es buena pero con ese pésimo servicio a cualquiera se le quita el deseo de ordenar.
