IHOP

I just wanted to take a moment to compliment our server. She was so pleasant and attentive to us and greeted us affectionately from the moment we sat down until the moment we left. She made us feel like we were at home like family and although we generally are treated professionally and with courtesy at this location, this particular server went the extra mile so effortlessly. I noticed she was as warm and attentive with all of her customers as well. At one point a male customer who was sitting with a female companion yelled obscenities at the female in a very threatening manner, startling the customers, and our server Angielet smoothly, quickly and quietly approached their table and I have no clue what she said to the male but she apparently nipped his behavior in the butt and he was quiet for the duration of our stay. That was truly commendable and impressive. She has a friendly, motherly, familiar yet authoritative (in a good way) aura about her and seemed to be able to wear many hats while making her customers feel as comfortable with her as she appeared to be with them. Her service was impeccable, she seemed to know the menu by hard, I noticed that when I stumbled trying to remember a particular dish I wanted to order, she quickly asked if it was XYZ I was referring to and she was right, she did the same at another table and was so quick with putting the order in as well as bringing it out. She kept checking on us and even bought us out our refills before we were half way done. I hardly ever take the time to write and comment or compliment on great service but it was something about this experience that makes coming from Yonkers worth the drive. She has a southern accent so when asked she said she was from Alabama. Southern hospitality at its best! I just thought you guys should know. Thanks!

The worse service ever, well is there is any; got a table in a slow day and my server never came; hungry as I was decide to leave

Better after 5pm. Still the staff could be a little more proffessional. Food is good though. Steak tips are always a good way to go.

Food is well prepped but the problem is some of the servers. Sometimes short of staff.
There’s free parking in a lot next to WhiteCastle.
When you go ask if Cory J is there to assist you.
He’s Great;) always once he gets to you there’s no need to ask for anything. He’ll get everything u might need & Extra.

Staff are always acting ghetto, inappropriate, loud, and unprofessional. Good takes a long time to come. And wait staff are mostly unaware of the menu.

I like this location, the staff is friendly and attentive. Only issue is it gets VERY busy on the weekends — I suggest going during the weekdays! (kids eat for free after 4. Just saying!)

the worst service in my life? I waited to be waited! I had no idea who my server was at all best of all? He was having issues with the whole section! I’d like to think I’m patient! But I’ll never be back here cause’ now I recall why it’s been 8 years since I’ve been here! He might have been high out of his mind on Molly or some other stuff. Looked like they got the server straight out of the half-​way house. Still waiting for my check to be dropped…

I’ve visited other locations of this chain with no real issues. The main reason for such a low score is the fact we saw a roach in the dining area, by our table, next to the kitchens. The person I was with let a manager know about the situation and he kindly offered to … move our seats. That makes sense in a little way, but if there’s one roach, there are more.
We researched some of the previous health code ratings for the place and there were animal droppings, etc. Not returning.

The service here is abysmal. We were seated pretty quick. Then the waiting game began to be attended by our server.
We noticed that a group of people that were seated after us were already being served by our assigned server.
More than fifteen minutes later we were finally served coffee. Everything went down from there. They screwed up our order. How do you screw up a «Make your own omelet » !!!
We just had to walk out.
Totally UNSATISFACTORY.

Ok service, ok food. overall ok.
No offers for dessert. This USED to be one of the better Ihop locations. Not anymore.
Even paying for the food you had to wait. And it wasnt even busy!

I really like this place. I come here all the time. I’ve never had a problem thank goodness. All I order is either the pancakes or the steak tip dinner which both are excellent. The waiters are great! I’ve never had to wait long for seating or food, but I never come with a large group. Overall this place isn’t bad. Its always quiet and you can’t beat the prices! But that’s every IHOP I guess lol I like it!
