I just found out about this place and it is great! The food is very tasty (the coffee is amazing), the atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and welcoming (reminds me of diners back home in NJ). The staff is wonderful, Melissa is the best and Nicky made me feel like I’ve been going there for years! I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal at a great price.

Very authentic Greek dinner feel. I’ve been here several times and it’s always been a great experience, the food and service are great. And it’s all at a amazing price. I would suggest stopping in a for a morning coffee and break sandwich.

Nice mom and pop feel. Melisa was my waitress and she was amazingly friendly. I ordered french toast, eggs, and turkey bacon with a cup of coffee. The coffee and food was tasty, esp the bacon! The restaurant was clean, clean silverware, and no waiting time (I went at around 4pm on a Thursday). I will definitely be back!

Stopped at Nicky’s this morning for breakfast. At first sight it looked very promising. It was full with a wait. I ordered the 3 cheese omelet with bacon. The service was very quick, which we appreciated. However the omelet wasn’t so great. The cheese hadn’t melted and it was slightly cold. My husband really liked his breakfast though, he ordered the ‘harvest’ omelet. It is very reasonably price but cash only.

I’ve been ordering out from this restaurant for about 3 years, and the customer service over the phone is great. Only thing I can point out is that there bacon is terrible, it’s precooked and not made fresh which is a big let down. Everything else is pretty good. I recommend there grill chicken it’s very good.

I’ve been eating at this diner for at least 10 years. Breakfast is great and service is excellent. Even though I’m no longer in the neighborhood, I still get there to eat at least twice a week.

Nice hot Monte Cristo sandwich for breakfast. That’s how I roll (but on toast, not on a roll!).
They seemed to have one server for the tables. I’d have appreciated one more, but I understand… i just had to wait a Lil bit longer than i liked for the check. Good experience though.

The gyro slices over eggs with pancakes is a special treat here. No particular reason nor unique foodie trait. Just some good diner grub. Plus it is always fun to watch hungry people who want to eat but are waiting for the bus decide on a breakfast.

I super wanted pancakes. So while looking up breakfast I came across Nicky. The environment was friendly and welcoming. Our server Melissa was great she was very attentive to us. I ordered pancakes and they were PERFECT! Fluffy and golden brown. The price was super reasonable for the size of pancakes I got. I would recommend Nicky’s to anyone wanna yummy food!

I love Nicky’s there’s no doubt about that, but if you know steak & how you like it you know you shouldn’t expect perfection from what is not a steakhouse. I ordered steak & eggs. My steak should have been cooked medium (hot pink center) I received it well done & also chewy & my eggs were over cooked I ordered over medium eggs. However I do not choose to bash Nicky’s I just feel they’re cooks should practice they’re temp taking. My issue wasn’t really with the steak to be honest it was more with my over cooked eggs. It kind of set the tone for the rest of my meal. The rest of the menu is delicious however I feel they’re steak presentation is not the best & eggs are inconsistent.

He seguido regresando a este restaurant por años. Es un lugar pequeño pero siempre hay donde sentarse. Los cocineros están al frente y el lugar es manejado por una pareja que son los propietarios.
Tienen un menú mas o menos grande y es mas que nada desayuno. Siempre termino ordenó lo mismo; grill Chesse sándwich con bacon, tomates y cebolla cruda. También es una buena opción para llamar a Delivery. Rápido caliente y todo en su lugar.

Decent breakfast and really good price. I got the pancake deluxe which was 2 eggs, 4 pancakes and sausage. They don’t have booster seats for kids. There was a draft that came through the restaurant when the door opened. We sat in the middle.
It seems that all the locals go here. Everyone is super nice.

This is a cute little diner in the Bronx that has a friendly atmosphere, good, cheap food, and a «towny» type feel to it that is somehow charming.
This restaurant is the textbook definition of DINER. Breakfast is available all day, the booths have that primary-​color padding on them, the menus are printed and laminated with inexplicable water scenes on them. Your toast will come over-​buttered, but in that way you expect from, and love about, diners.
I went with four people and our bill (before tip) was less than $ 30. Can’t beat that! There is also some fantastic people-​watching going on here.
If you’re in the neighborhood and want a no-​frills, typical diner experience that you remember from your high school days, this is the place to go!
