Calmest and most relaxing environment and restaurant ever. Great food great service great staff great place over all. Will return at least once a month.

We came here for the first time yesterday and the food was amazing. The staff were very attentive and so friendly. This is a great place for a date night with your love one. I also noticed they had a bar. And they serve wine. You should give their salad a try, it was so good! I’m definitely coming back here again and I cannot wait lol

Drove up from Bridgeport Ct for lunch with my father on Saturday. Nice old school restaurant near elevated subway in Westchester square. My father had tilapia oreganata, he said it was delicious. I had veal marsala which was very tender. Both entrée, s came with vegetable and potato croquette. Topped it off with espresso and Sambuca. Glad to see there are still small neighborhood institutions like this. Great experience.Lucia, was a sweetheart. Cant wait to be back.

Great place. Stopped in on our way back to CT from US Open.
Friendly wait staff. Street parking. Prices were very good. Décor was exactly what you would expect in Bronx Italian restaurant. They had whole wheat and gluten free pasta for my Vegan daughter. Felt «At Home» here. We ordered penne vodka, chicken saltimbuco, gnocchi primavera. All very good.

Great staff, very friendly. The i ordered the penne vodka with shrimp, it was good (i perfer mine vodka sauce less tomato tasting) i also had a mango mojito it was good as well.

I’ve read all the reviews here including the few that didn’t like the place. I guess he could have had an off night but we’ve been going here literally since it opened & I’ve never, ever had a bad meal, ever. Nice menu, basic Italian which is what a local neighborhood restaurant should be. If you don’t see it on the menu, talk to your server, you’ll probably get it. The staff are beyond wonderful from the owner (who is the sweetest) all the way down. Between us we’ve had Chix Parm; Chix Marsala; Chix Piccata; stuffed chicken (just beyond good). All the soups are good but the Tortellini en brodo is really just a bowl of tortellini! The tottellini alfredo is great as is the fettucine. OK, I can’t go through the whole menu. Could use some sprucing up its the same décor from the the previous 3 restaurants but food & staff, A+.

Came with my family. This is the second time we’ve been here and we love it.
The ambiance is nice, the staff is great and the food is wonderful.
I we’ve had the chicken piccata, scarpiello and eggplant Parmesan.
All of the above are recommended!

Valentine’s day was wonderful at Lucca last night and great to see Lisa and staff again.
Food was delicious and the atmosphere beautiful. Can’t wait to visit again.

I walked into this place one day while doing laundry with my mother. It’s was right before my 16^th birthday six years ago. This place feel like my second home. From food to workers love it. My boyfriend also enjoys going there. When we first started dating it was me wanting to go now it’s him.
This place is the type of place where you want to have a good time while having a wonderful romantic dinner.

Delicious food and a fabulous staff! I had penne vodka and added chicken cutlet and it was everything I hope for. They even give you free bruschetta as an app.

Very dissappointing
I had the chicken marsala and it was hard and the sauce was not so great. My daughter had a colorful pasta dish that wasn’t very good either. The tiny piece of carrot cake tasted like it was about 4 days old. Even the design on it had fa faded. I’m surprised that the restaurant has such good reviews. Pizza Beat on Central Ave is much better.

Food was delicious ! Service was very friendly. This place is one spicy meata ball ! Gonna bring the rest of the family here. My shrimp w fusilli n vodka was really the shiznittle bam schnittles ! And I usually don’t like non home cooked Italian meals.

The food was very good but the service took it over the top. I sometimes forget what it’s like to see a smiling hostess and have a waiter that actually seems to care if your dining experience is pleasurable.
We came by after walking through Pelham Bay Park. The Unilocal reviews were a bit all over the place, but we decided to take a chance. Glad we did. We both had one of the specials, shells with sausage and spinach (or broccoli rabe?). It was delish. My boyfriend had an Italian beer that he has a hard time finding, and it was brought in frosted mug (albeit plastic).
Overall, highly recommend if you’re in the area.

We had the complete meal which includes an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and glass of wine. The food was great. (Chicken marsala and manicotti, mozzarella sticks, baked clams) had to take dessert home!
The service was top notch! The waiter was very attentive. I would go back!

Went here Saturday night with my boyfriend. We walked in and it’s a pretty big place but only two tables were occupied. Usually that would be a red flag but with all the snow we figured folks were staying indoors. Service was nice and friendly. Décor was dated but clean.
We started with the cold antipasti… it was not good at all… as a matter of fact everything on the plate tasted as it came out of the jar. Nothing fresh. We love antipasta so we were quite disappointed. Artichokes, olives, roasted peppers. yep all out of a jar. The «meat» looked like slices of deli salami… really?!! No prosciutto or pancetta to be found… cheese was thin sliced Swiss maybe? Just a sad display of anti pasta. Unfortunately our entrees weren’t much better. I had the fusilli with shrimp in vodka sauce… it was just ok. Nothing to write home about. My boyfriend had the cavatelli with broccoli rabe and was like eh. Our highlights were the Italian beer my boyfriend had which he said was really good and my cappuccino. The folks were really nice but overall the food was not what we were hoping for.

Ordered food from here on Mother’s day and the food is to die for! Got the mussels appetizer and got a half tray of mussels in the best marinara sauce so good!

I only give this a one star because Unilocal forces you to choose an option! Just left Luccas «brunch» if you could call it that! We walked in at 5 to noon and were told that they were doing brunch today… Ok brunch I can do that… Brunch consisted of dry scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, eggo waffles, potatoes, pasta with marinara and frozen chicken francese and assorted entemens baked goods. It was the worst brunch I had ever had! I could have done better at home or at a diner. To top it off guests that came in after us were given bread at the table and offered a Mother’s Day menu that included steak and shrimp and other items that sounded much better than an eggo waffle… Why wasn’t I offered that? The check comes and we were charged $ 60.,. Ridiculous! You are welcome Lucca I just paid for your entire shop rite bought «brunch» buffet! Worst restaurant in the area… Will NOT be returning!

Amazing service and fantastic food. There’s no going wrong with this place. I highly recommend!
