After coming here for years. The old owners decided to sell the place. I tell you not. The new owner didn’t miss a beat with the food. The food is very good

My son and I usually go here for breakfast — very satisfied with the food and service — portions are large and the coffee is good (they never let your cup run dry) — would recommend to anyone.

If I could give a minus star i would. umm plain and simple? I asked for a bacon egg and cheese on a roll. i got microwaved eggs that were precooked. I bit into it and i thought i was chewing on a rubber ball. The gentleman that took the order was not friendly. the coffee had coffee grinds floating in it as well as its bad smell. I dont know how this place stays open.

I have ordered from here twice, never again.
I would rather deal with Jimmy’s rude delivery guy than to deal with incompetent and annoying people who screw up orders then get defensive about it.
I wanted a waffle and a grilled chicken caesar salad wrap.
I received a grilled chicken caesar salad. No wrap. No fries.
I called back and was given a hard time as though it is my fault she didn’t read my order back to me or double check.
I don’t know where service is so bad that I have to ask if my order is right and go over it. Isn’t that THEIR job? The manager was less than sympathetic and refused to realize I tried to get my lunch for work from them ahead of time so I didn’t HAVE to be late for work.
So, now I have to take this salad I don’t want (that’s overpriced) and lose one more option for delivery.
It’s a shame because their delivery guy is lovely, but the manager and waitstaff suck.

This Diner is a staple in the community (25+ years). The food is satisfactory, clean & neat, as Diners go. The food caters only to it’s staple customers of the past, not to the changing demographics or diets of the larger castle hill/​classon point community, which is growing in south asian, vegetarians, diet consious/​healthy patrons. Like some of the reviewers have said the menu is old, old, old school-​so 20th century. They need to update their menu to get more of the other residents to become regulars. If you want coffee/​tea, old school brakfast sandwiches. it’s ok or the unhealthy diner fare, It’s the place for you! If you want a healthy dish –slim pikins!

My first time back here in 2.5 years and I can’t give this better than two stars, yet again.
I know neighborhood folks say its great, but I stopped in for coffee and a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll and I was disappointed. The sandwich was kind of rubber and I even threw part of it out. To top it all off, I could have gotten a better sandwich for about a dollar less (I believe it is $ 3.50 here) elsewhere.
Sorry, Shore Haven, but you rank alongside the school cafeteria when it comes to food options for me… which is to say «in desperate times… still at best a maybe.»

It’s a really nice neighborhood spot. My mom usually treats a lot of the older folks in the neighborhood to breakfast or lunch (which is really awesome). The breakfast is pretty solid, the service is attentive and the space may be limited during (frequently) packed weekend mornings.
Their omelettes are pretty substantial, and they’re nice about substitutions. The unlimited coffee is really good, too. A nice option to have in the neighborhood!

I was skeptical of trying this place after reading some of the reviews. My mother and I just did our laundry and was hungry for breakfast. My mom had a hard-​time getting in the door, and the waitress held the door and escorted her in. The waitress even made jokes. First observance the diner reminds me of an old school look, but I liked it, it made me feel at home. I had some beef sausages and my mom had that and some home fries, not only was the food well done it was delicious! To top it off everything was affordable and they also deliver! I tried the same diner later on that week and had a delicious burger for dessert which I don’t even like strawberry shortcake. Thanks to them I can add that cake to cakes that I will eat again. I just love their food and their service is excellent :)

A friendly atmosphere, this little diner offers a plethora of great dishes, and fantastic people. I’ve been going there for years. The staff are always friendly and dedicated. The only place I’ve been to that also stays open for the holidays. Now that’s dedication!

Really the only decent lunch option in the area. It’s located inside a mini mall, sharing the parking lot with a supermarket and crackheads asking for change.
The service was fine, the food was good… thr bacon was crispy and fresh.
It’s also cheap, but again, it’s for locals and those working in the area.
