My goto Bodega. Morning large coffee with milk and one sugar. $ 1.00 — but let me tell you about the coffee… The milk is warmed, and the coffee is a wonderful way for me to start my day. Truly Café con Leche mmmm
At night — if I’m hungry and I don’t want to cook, I’ll pick up ¼ pound of boar’s head roast beef — and there is my dinner. High protein, low fat and filling.
Let’s face it — I grew up in white bread Maine. Having a bodega is still exotic to me. Forget about Starbucks and Dunkin Doughnuts — it is $ 1.00 café con leche for me.
And they were on TV!!!
