The FScott Fitzgerald quote from one of his short stories came to mind when I walked into Picardy’s. * It’s probably an overstatement, but not by much. I liked this store. The shoes were adorable and in all styles imaginable. But I was even more surprised to see more than just shoes. In fact, when I first walked in, I didn’t realize it was a shoe store at all since jewelry and clothing were predominantly displayed in the main part of the store. Shoes almost seemed to be an afterthought. Everything, the jewelry, clothing, handbags and general accessories were gorgeous and good quality. It’s as far from a general merchandise mall store as you can get. I’m a jewelry junkie that fortunately can be satisfied with looking rather than buying. That ability is something for which my bank account thanks me. If you have need for something stylish and unique for day to day or even a special occasion, PSP will more than likely have just what you need. But understand: that special item won’t come cheap.
