24 Hour Fitness

This is the dirtiest gym I’ve ever had a membership to. In the mornings there will definitely be trash on most of the treadmills. There may or may not be paper towels in the dispensers on the gym floor (with the cheapest paper towels you can get) and the bathroom clearly isn’t cleaned on a regular basis. If a machine is broken, it will stay that way for months. Better quality of service should be provided with what they charge here. Who wants to pay to workout at a filthy gym?! The locker rooms are the worst. I never use them. I go here strictly out of convenience because it’s 1 block away. It doesn’t make sense for it to be so dirty in the mornings!!! Who is cleaning this place at night? No one!

First floor is a man’s dungeon and second floor is civilization. (No idea what the pool looks like). I haven’t been here before and I just saw the free weights area and was like oh cool. Walked right in.
Swear I felt like I walked into a sea of testosterone. And I suppose it was because it was the typical dinner hour (6−8pm) that brings in Brooklyn’s finest egotistical and all talk no walk guys. (Just kidding). Anyways 2 racks, a bunch of benches and dumbbells (I swear the smallest is 20lb. I swear). All equipment is Bailey’s (aka shitty and old.
Second floor is a little more gym-​like. Cardio and some weight machines (no dumbbells). One smith, one rack, but a lot of cable machines. Basically young guys and kids pretty much come here.
Seriously, unless you like the machohead crowd, stick to the second floor.

Great facility! Love that the cardio room on top floor has such giant windows with so much light!!! In total, there are three floors with awesome equipment and facilities for working out!
The fitness classes are amazing as well, and they are adding Les Mills BodyPump and other LM classes! Exciting!
I wish they had towels b/​c I come to this location on the subway and don’t wanna drag along so much bulk with me (like extra towels). Also, some updated tile on the floor in the men’s locker room would be nice. :) …but these are minor things! The gym is awesome otherwise!

They don’t even open on time, I spoke to Lenny & Sylvia, they both didn’t know nothing, There’s nothing they can do, they come in only after 10 in the morning.
Management don’t care and that’s causing major problems.
The gym need to be CLEAN, with no management; members don’t use the locker room, go straight to the gym floor, just look at the floor, then they trow coats, bags and everything else by the windows, NICE !
The TV screen have never been clean: I would love to use the cross trainer and watch the news.
I called corporate 10 days ago, I was suppose to get a call from the regional manager within 3 – 5 days. Well I guess there is a problem at that level also!
I already prepaid for 3 years, that’s the reason I care.
I have another membership at Match Point, Mc Donald Ave & Ave Z, I don’t have enough time in the morning but go there on week end let me tell you, it’s worth every penny.

— Every member has a towel
— No street shoes
— Every TV is clean
— The floor is clean
— I will wait for a call, who knows may be someone care at 24 Hour Firness
