A Bark In Prospect Park

Kathy has been my dog walker/​sitter for about four years and I have no complaints only praise! She is reliable and conscientious for the daily walks and more important, my dogs love her! My dogs are seniors and require some extra care/​attention because they are on medication or have health problems. When she comes to dog sit, I am totally confident that all will go well, so I have no worries while I am away. When I leave a note about something, she responds and keeps me up to date on what she notices. All in all, I could not have a better person for my pups!

Kat has been walking my dog Maggie for 5+ years. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her as a person and small business owner. She is smart, responsible, gracious, patient, loving resourceful and accommodating. After several doggie daycares and multiple dog walking services (none of which worked for various reasons), i was lucky enough to find kat at the rcommendation of another dogwalker (industry insider)… and i have never looked back. She regularly stays over to pet sit on weekends when my husband and I are away. I feel lucky to have found her and would recommend her to anyone.

Daniel is the fourth dog walker we’ve had since getting our pup seven years ago (all due to moves). Generally we’ve been blessed with loving, responsible caring walkers, and Daniel is no exception. He’s never missed a day in a year and a half, is always on time, notifies us of what our dog is doing on the daily walks, and has even found our guy a girl dog to go on walks with. Our dog is a big pittie mix, and can be quite a handful, but we have complete confidence that Daniel knows how to monitor and manage him. Rates are reasonable and he’s great about working around our somewhat challenging schedule.

I feel very lucky to have Daniel as our regular dog walker. He’s reliable, very responsive, and our pup loves him! I like coming home to daily notes about how their walk went. sometimes he walks her solo and sometimes it’s with one of her doggie «boyfriends,» which is great socialization for her!

Daniel is a low-​key and easygoing, 100% reliable dog walker who has been coming to walk my cocker spaniel every day for the past year or so. Before I moved to Brooklyn, I lived in the city and used one of the big companies and it was totally fine, but I am much happier now that I know Hurley is being walked every day by someone who I know and trust. I get a text every day telling me what happened on the walk– it’s usually uneventful but sometimes I get messages like «I found a chewed-​up, empty container of coconut oil next to Hurley’s bed and poop all over the apartment.» Poor Daniel. He always goes out of his way to try to clean up after something like that, give H fresh water, dry him off if it’s raining, etc. And there were also a few times I locked myself out of my apartment, and Daniel went above and beyond to get his set of my keys to me. He has never let me down and has taken a lot of stress out of the experience of owning a dog in Brooklyn and working full-​time in Manhattan. I highly recommend him!

Ernest has been an incredibly helpful dog care provider to my dog Dizzy. He walks Dizzy during the week when I work late, and has stayed at my apartment when I’ve been out of town and provided care to Dizzy from my home. He has a wonderful way with animals, and is very flexible when it comes to scheduling walks (since I don’t always know I need dog care until the last minute). When I was away on vacation he provided regular updates, and when I returned Dizzy acted as if I had never been gone. Such a relief to find such a great guy. Very professional, yet laid back and personable. I would highly recommend Ernest. Mike (Park Slope)
