Anthony has been a staple in the neighborhood for years. Meat is fresh and well priced. I normally stop in for a cold cut sandwich for lunch. The Italian bread and rolls make the sandwiches yummy.

Excellent family owned deli. Best neighborhood sandwich spot with very friendly employees. This is absolutely the place to stop in to pick up some speciality quality meats, or great custom subs. The«Bay Ridge» sandwich is a personal favorite.

Anthony’s Butcher & Deli is a great addition to the neighborhood. The shop is well stocked and clean. The staff is very friendly and always willing to accommodate special requests and changes to orders. Anything that they do not keep in stock, they are happy to order for you, with advanced notice. Their prices are reasonable, and the quality of their products is top notch. In addition to butcher items, they have a small but varied assortment of dried goods, refrigerated goods, pastries, and last-minute staples(onions, lemons, etc.) that make it a very convenient place to shop for your entire meal. One time I needed boneless skin-on chicken breasts. Anthony broke down whole chickens in front of me to accommodate my order. The chicken pieces were huge and fairly priced, and were a pleasure to cook with. Their made-to-eat food is also delicious. I am a particular fan of the Bay Ridge Special sandwich.

Anthony has been a staple in this neighborhood for decades and treats everyone like family. He is one of the rare butcher shops that custom makes anything to your desire. There just aren’t any stores like this left. And if you don’t want to cook, he’ll cook it for you! We need to support shops like Anthonys Butcher & Deli. This place is amazing. I’ve been going here since right after they opened. The rice pudding is awesome, although unfortunately Anthony says he can’t make it in the summer due to the heat. The fresh meat is phenomenal, can’t find anything comparable in Bay Ridge. The freshly prepared food is delicious. Everyone who works there is friendly and you are treated like family. It is the essence of a family run mom and pop shop that Bay Ridge is known for.

I’ve been meaning to review Anthony’s for months… They’ve been great since they opened and are keeping up the 5 star rating as they add more items. The sandwiches are great, try the steak sandwich. All the cold cut options are generous and tasty too. The prepared food, from cutlets to eggplant to artichokes, all have been home runs. And the best quality that really sets this place apart is the service. Anthony, his wife, his daughters and employees are very friendly. They make it a pleasure to stop in. Anthony’s deli is exactly what the neighborhood needed. And bonus points for the photo of Tony Sirico, AKA«Paulie Walnuts.»

Was at a luncheon catered by Anthony’s every thing was fantastic !! So I decided to stop and try a hero from the deli, had the roast beef sandwich. Let’s just say I will by dropping by here a lot more!

Huge fan of this place! Their cuts of meat are fantastic. I had lots of questions about how to prepare the cut I got, and the staff were really helpful. Also, you can call ahead and order special items! Wonderful mom n’ pop butcher in the neighborhood. I AMSOGLAD I FOUNDMYLOCALBUTCHER. No more buying my meats at the regular grocery store.

I was riding around Bay Ridge on Sunday and looking for a good sandwich… I’ve been to Zito’s and David’s Brisket House, but the sandwiches at those places were too expensive for the occasion. I saw the awning on Anthony’s that said Brooklyn’s Best Heros and figured I’d give it a try. I had the Chicken Parm sandwich — it was Terrific! The staff was friendly and helpful. And the price didn’t break the bank. I’m super impressed and I’ll be back.

I work around the block from here and I go to get lunch from Anthony most days. Food is consistently great. I highly recommend the steak sandwich– which is made to order. I also recommend using this place as your butcher. I have only gotten their meats once. But the roast beef was the best I’ve ever made… And while I’d like to take all the credit for that it simply wouldn’t be true. Overall great place… Tell Anthony«josh says hi»

So warm and friendly. Had an awesome fried eggplant, basil, and balsamic hero. My boyfriend loved his grilled chicken and broccoli rabe. I will be back. Everything else looked great, too :)

The family is wonderful. Always very helpful. I wish their hours were better. They are always closed when I am walking home from work around 7:30. I would 100% try their mozzarella it’s the best I have ever had. I’m only giving four stars because of their hours.

I was so sad when Frank & Eddie’s closed. It was the only butcher close to my house and I went there all the time. THEN Anthony’s butcher and deli opened — SOHAPPY! The store is super clean and everything looks super fresh. I believe somebody told me the owner is from Frank and Eddies. I ordered a chicken cutlet hero for the Super Bowl and Anthony himself delivered it to my home. It was DELICIOUS… The owner and his wife are super nice too. Hoping this place stays for a long time!!!

What a great addition to the neighborhood. Fresh homemade dishes(lasagna, chicken or eggplant parmesan, soups) at reasonable prices. I just tried the home made loin of pork and it was juicy and spot on. This is a real mom and pop shop. Anthony runs the deli, and his wife and daughter work the store, register. Try one of their specialty sandwiches. You’ll be back.

am so glad that Anthony opened up his own butcher deli, definitely beats Frank & Eddies. He has a cool personality & my favorite dishes are the lasagna, baked ziti, egg plant, ham Swiss cheese sandwiches & chicken salad prices are reasonable go every weekend & will continue to arrive every weekend. staff is really nice as well

So glad Anthony’s Butcher opened! Considering that we don’t have a many real deal butchers in the area. Anthony is on site. He is super nice and charismatic. He’s ready to serve you. He carries boars head products that are reasonable priced. and carries various italian dishes both hot and cold… and specialty sandwiches. You can’t go wrong here…
