I have passed by this bakery so many times and now I finally got a chance to try it. Everything looked so cute so it was hard to decide what to order. I asked the person what was the most popular item and they told me the green tea mousee with the bear was the best. Eventually I brought that and the red bean green tea slice. The bear was not too sweet and texture was perfect. The slice was sweeter but very tasty. Although pricy, I would definitely come back again.

This place is really hyped up as a previous Unilocaler already mentioned. The desserts here are waaaaaay too sweet! I stopped by on my birthday for something sweet and this was where I ended up coming to. It’s not my first time here either. Every time I come here the desserts are overpoweringly sweet and I feel so dehydrated afterwards. The desserts are presented in a really cute way and the store is decorated beautifully. I’ve given this place many tries and it just isn’t my cup of tea.

Hype hype hype. This place is extremely hype up. The service was okay. The décor here is cute. My niece loved it. The Mille green tea crêpe was meh. It was mushy and you couldn’t even see the layers. The chocolate strawberry chiffon cake tasted like a typical cake you would get at a Chinese bakery. I also got the match mouse cake for my sister for her birthday. The cake was meh. Not much of a matcha taste. Tasted more like pure heavy cream. I had higher expectations for you Audrey’s.

Cutest desserts ever! The moment we walked in, I knew were were in for a treat — they’ve got a cute cake display out front, a huge hello kitty wall decal on the walls and even more hello kitty décor next to their dessert display. All the desserts looked so good that we couldn’t decide on just one. Instead, we got three: — Green Tea Crêpe: I’m not a fan of green tea myself, but my boyfriend loves it. This had a strong matcha flavor to it and some chunks of mango in between! — Lychee Mango Mousse: I love lychee, and I love mango so this one was a no brainier for me. I wish there was more of a lychee flavor to it, but I do like how creamy this was — Strawberry Tiramisu: I don’t know if I’d really call this a tiramisu. No espresso or lady fingers to be found here. It DID have layers of a vanilla cake, strawberries and then a strawberry mousse on top, though! This seems like it would be a peaceful place to study or do work. It’s pretty quiet in here, and they’ve got a lot of light coming in. Only slight downside is that they don’t have toooooo many seating options in here

The desserts here are pretty good and I always end up getting something matcha/green tea. After eating any meal nearby on 86th St, it’s become a habit to visit here. Always gotta satisfy that sweet tooth. I find myself getting the dessert where there’s red bean on the bottom of the square cup, with some cake, green tea mousse and topped with matcha powder showing a bear. I’ve tried other flavors too but green tea always hits the spot. Not too sweet and just right. During the warmer or hotter days, I often times get the Pineapple Basil drink. It’s an amazingly good drink. The basil flavor isn’t too strong because I’m not a dam of basil and the pineapple taste doesn’t make the drink too sweet. The balance is spot on. I’ve eaten there and have ordered to go. The people who work there are really nice and friendly. It’s a cute little place where you can chill with your dessert/drink or both while chatting with friends. The prices are not too bad, honestly think it’s quite decent for dessert.

Waffle lovers: I’m giving the venue 4 stars instead of 3 because of their buttermilk waffle! It’s only served on the weekend, but you won’t regret the wait. It’s soft, comes with tea/coffee, and looks cute, too. Other desserts: — The duri-misu isn’t for me, I couldn’t have more than a bite. — Their pancakes are good, though. Study spot: I’m always looking for a new study spot in this area. Audrey’s is not it. It doesn’t have WiFi or a restroom; it’s also a tight space so it can get crowded pretty quickly. Coffee: Random note, but they only have whole milk. Setting: Love their set up. It’s small but authentic. Their most recent Hello Kitty theme was adorable.

Do you ever see a baby or puppy so cute that you want to hug and squeeze their head until it explodes? That’s Audrey’s Concerto in dessert bar form. For some reason, it’s Hello Kitty themed, and the décor looks like a bridal shower. That said, the green tea crêpe cake is a nice light fluffy dessert. I like it better than Lady M’s. I hate that I go to so many dessert shops.

This is a really cute little café. I was drawn in by the decorative desserts. I got the red bean matcha green tea cake which was creamy and light although it could use a thicker layer of red bean. I also got the vanilla bean macaroon which was delicious very crispy and airy with thick tasty cream filling. The rose lavender tea with honey is also another excellent choice since I could pick out each individual note without it being too overwhelming or sweet. The prices are very fair and the staff is very welcoming and sincerely sweet as their desserts. I will definitely come by again!

Personally I think the owner is freaking clever. She obviously knows alot about how aesthetics can fool a person into thinking how good the food is, as I was also fooled myself. She also knows how powerful the media can be, manipulating the props in the restaurant for free advertisements. I also have to admit that I fell into her scheme and used their props to take a Instagram worthy picture. The buttermilk waffle was literally just like any other waffles, except that it is cut up and topped off with some fresh fruits. One of my blueberries had a stem attached. Interesting, I didn’t know stem wad nutritious and the key component to a perfect brunch. The waffles came with a huge jug of maple syrup. I hope it is maple syrup though and not just a maple leaf jug filled with Aunt Jemima. The nutella sandwich was alot smaller than the picture in their menu. Again, it’s something anyone can make at home, but it just looks 10 times better because of the fruits. The brunch menu comes with free coffee or free tea. What good is a café with a broken coffee machine for this long? I would not recommend getting the free tea because it was so plain. I should’ve just upgraded for another drink for some additional payment. The cups were dusty and stained with the tea from the last customer. It was not just my cup, but also my friend’s. This tells alot about their priority on hygiene. It also took 20 minutes to prepare two dishes and we were the only customers there because we came 10:00 on the dot. The drinks took a solid five minutes. The green tea tiramisu was loaded with the earthly matcha powder and was lacking on the sweet red beans. The ratio was off. On the other hand, the macarons have a good cream to shell ratio. However, the limited flavors make it very inflexible for their bundle deals. All in all, I am strong about not coming here again. This place is literally too overhyped for the wrong reasons. It just shows to how foolish customers can be when trying to decide what food to eat based on the presentation of the dishes and even ultimately the décor of the shop itself. Literally a bunch of these reviews mention how cute everything is, which I am not going to lie about. Yes, indeed, they are very cute. Good job Audrey, for noticing our flaws and using it to your advantage.

ugh where do i even begin… March 23rd2016 i called at 11am to see if they had a green tea cake that could accommodate my small party of 5. The lady on the phone told me they had a 6INCH green tea tiramisu cake for $ 37.(Perrrfectttt!) i told her i would be would come at 5pm the same day to pick it up. i also asked if they could write«Happy Birthday Mom!» and they said no problem. 6pm.came to pick up my cake with surprises left and right. The cashier came out with my cake and rung me up for $ 43. I told her i called earlier and the lady told me $ 37 for a 6INCH green tea tiramisu. The cashier didn’t even apologize and said«oh this is an 8INCH tiramisu it’s $ 40 plus tax.» okie fine whatever ill pay the price since i needed the cake right then and there. i got home to another surprise, the message that i specifically requested was not there!!!(Good job on making someones birthday cake special) AUDREY, please have your employees brush up on listening & customer service skills.

I’ve been hearing about this place for quite a while now, but never really summoned up the(what’s the opposite of lazy) side of me to really venture in here. Though never having been here before, I’ve had one a many cakes from this place thanks to one a many birthday dinners I’ve celebrated. Every cake that I have had so far from this place was up to par and gave me no reason not to come get cake. I think by now you can understand I’m just here to talk about cake. I stopped by yesterday to get, yet another, cake for a birthday celebration. I was actually quite surprised at the girly-cutesy theme(Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty everywhere) and at the same time, a slight hint of plainness that seemed unfinished, but I digress, this has no affect on what one should expect from the place. I guess you could say it was«simple and modern, which created a peaceful atmosphere that was not cluttered up.» They have ready-made cakes available or you could order ahead. The ready-made cakes are placed inside their little counter upfront so you can pick from there. At the time, there were only two staff upfront and because the customer in front was ordering a cake, the wait was longer than it should have been. I saw a great deal of available desserts and drinks available that looked super instagram worthy(and wouldn’t that be reason alone to purchase? …just kidding, I wouldn’t know if it tastes good so I can’t really say). Their cakes are on the rather premium price(around 40 to 50), but again, very nicely decorated and tastes great(quality over quantity, right?). PLOTTWIST: I don’t even like cake(except cheese cake), so yeah.

Audrey was one of the first café bakeries in this neighborhood that has fused together asian and western favors to make cake. Most of their cakes are sponge cakes making them very light and fluffy. Some of my favorites from Audrey include the green tea tiramisu and their strawberry moouse. Its not too sweet but very strong in REAL strawberry flavor. They also serve good teas in their very cute and girly decorated café. In general, their cakes are okay, nothing too special other than the ones I mentioned.

This place is small but yet it has pretty good desserts. They have some unique desserts that other places don’t have. The waffle tasted delicious too and it has a cute bunny on the side. The green tea tiramisu with red beans tasted good and the red beans were not too sweet.

I apologize in advance for the amount of times I will utilize the term«cute» in this review. Cute little dessert spot in busy Bensonhurst. They serve breakfast as well as brunch but are primarily known for their desserts and drinks. The space is quite small but it’s not packed like your local Starbucks. I saw a couple of individuals on their laptops enjoying a delicious smelling coffee. The décor is simple but very cute to do with the whole«cute» theme. My friend and I came in and spent a good amount of time deciding what to order because everything looked so cute and delicious! I decided on a chocolate lychee mousse with a cute kitty cat design on top and a latte. My friend ordered a coffee and his favorite dessert, crème brûlée. The sweet cashier girl told us we can take a seat and she will bring out our order to us. My chocolate lychee dessert was was soft that it practically melted in your mouth. My friend said that his crème brûlée might have been the best he’s ever had! Will definitely keep coming here to try more menu items!

After stumbling in the blizzard and looking for a cute café for tea and dessert, came across this place. Once you enter, the place is small and cozy with a simple menu for tea and desserts. If you want more substantial food than desserts, this place does offer small dishes like pancakes and other breakfast like food and small sandwiches. Since I was intrigued by the cute happy designs on the various desserts, decided to try the matcha tiramisu mixed with red bean and a lavender rose honey tea. Overall, the tiramisu was alright. The depth of matcha was very present however, there was a lack of red bean taste. If there were just a wee bit more red bean, this would have been a fantastic dessert. As for the tea, it was very light and fragrant and the mix of lavender and honey was quite calming and soothing to drink. Atmosphere here is very chill. There isn’t too much sitting room, so if you’re planning to come here to study or as a big group, you may have some difficulty in finding a spot. In summary, this is a nice café to stop by if you’re in the mood to drink some traditional tea with a slight twist or to see/eat cute desserts.

This is a cute place to grab some snacks quickly. They have different types of cakes, cookies and drinks. You can also order cakes if you needed too. I’ve tried a brownie which they heated up and it was really good and gooey! I’ve also tried the macaroons which was really good and they tasted fresh. I’ve also tried the iced latte and it wasn’t the greatest because it got me really sick. I drink lots of coffee and have tried it from all over and never felt that way I felt. The workers are all friendly and super helpful. I wouldn’t run to come back here but if I wanted a quick snack I may grab it but it’s not my go to place.

Great place for dessert. Nice ambiance, nice design for the desserts, nice setup. The con is that there is so few amount of sitting available… They should increase the amount of chairs and tables. The durian dessert truly smells from a distance. Yuck!

THESTAFFISREALLYSWEET. REALLYNICE! The tray they serve the foods in are really cute, there like breakfast in bed wooden trays. I ordered my food to stay and they took care of me told me to sit down etc. The inside is super relaxing, trendy and clean. They have nice wooden tables and cumfy chairs The problems: 1. The brownies are gooey and chocolatey but just not at that its so great point, i cant wait to try it again. I tried the macaroons, I’m not a big fan of macaroons in general but they were just not amazing. 2. The iced latte was way to strong it gave my friend and I a huge stomach ache and we ended up trashing it, being a huge coffee fanatic I wasn’t impressed with the quality of there coffee. The only thing I would return for would probably be a cup of tea because of the nice relaxing feel of the place and staff.

I love stories of young entrepreneurs who start their own bakeries/cafes/businesses. That’s what drew me to Audrey’s. I like that the desserts are all Asian flavors — green tea, mango, lychee, etc. Their rose macarons were the best things I had there, comparable to Laduree. I really liked the green tea tiramisu, but there were so many of them with different names that I can’t really tell you which one it was, other than that it had a bear impression on it. The green tea lychee mousse cup had a big dollop of overly sweet and artificial cream on top that I had to remove before getting into the rest of it. The sunnyside, a mango mousse cake, was just ok. I’ve had it elsewhere before. It’s a small place, not a lot of seating and not really a place I’d want to sit down anyway. The cash only thing is a slight inconvenience, albeit expected in a Chinese neighborhood. I would come back to try all the other desserts I didn’t try if I’m in the neighborhood!
