I had a get together with my American friends here that wanted to get a taste of Azerbaijani cuisine. There was no other place that i could think of that can truly bring the real taste pf Azerbaijani cuisine, in Ny. The food was good as well as the service. Everything was on time: appetizers, main course and desserts. My friends were very happy and so was I. And I loved that the owners were very welcoming and sweet as if we were visiting their house. It was a really nice experience. I would definitely recommend to those from Azerbaijan and especially to those who are not from there and wanna try something different.

Been going to this place a lot because I live in the neighborhood. They never disappoint me with good service and great food. I would definitely recommend this place. I think it’s one of the best in the area.

Food was truly delicious, seasoned sensitively, and filling. We had ciz biz(innards), skewered meats, meat salad, and eggplant salad. At the end of the meal, we were full, and the bill for each person came to $ 15. Amazing! Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we were satisfied. Get yourself over here and try Azerbaijani food!

If you want to taste real Azerbaijani food this is the place to go, and also it is not that pricey either. Its a mid-range restaurant.

This is authentic Azerbaijan cuisine. It’s fantastic. The taste is so savory, you close your eyes and will take a journey back home to your childhood. The taste will bring back memories. If you have not traveled there, then try it. They are the best.

We visited New York for New Year celebration with our friends. It was a long time that we didn’t have our cultural meals, as you can’t find restaurant offering Azerbaijani meals enywhere in the US, so, NY was a good opportunity for us :) A friend of mine who lives in Brooklyn, NY suggested us to go to Azerbaijan restaurant. He said that he became their loyal customer because this is the only place where we can taste real Azerbaijani food. We went there with 5 friends, 1 of them was from Uzbekistan and others were from Azerbaijan. This restaurant was a good option because it had a menu both Azerbaijan and Uzbek cultures. I had Homemade Ravioli/Dushbere that helped me to feel warm in a cold, snowy day :) Then I ate Ciz-biz(fried sheep liver, kidney, heart) with compote/kompot. I really enjoyed both soup and cis-biz and felt like home. The service was excellent too. We ordered a tea after a delicious food, and the owner surprised all of us. She gave as pakhlava/desert on house as a New Year gift. She was so nice that came and talked to every one of us, congratulated our holiday and asked if we enjoyed the food. I think, we were right by taking into consideration our friend’s advice for going to this restaurant. We all need to feel like home sometimes and this place was so welcoming that I felt home for that time. I would definitely go to this place if I visit NY again :)

Terrible place. The owner is rude. They lie, cheat, cut corners. There are much better restaurants in the neighborhood. It is almost empty every day, including weekends. The only people who go there are those who are related to the owner. Very questionable.
