It’s not Breeze anymore. It’s under new management. I had a $ 10 off coupon I bought just two weeks ago that they would not accept since they are no longer Breeze. The signage outside has not changed. They didn’t tell me this until I was paying for the order, even though I specifically told them I was ordering the minimum so the order would qualify, and presented it while in the process of ordering.

So the other day my girl sends me to Breeze’s to get some grub after I come out of work. We have eaten here before, but I think the last time will be just that… the last time. It was about 5pm when I get there, the parking is atrocious and I have to risk a ticket to get there. Moving on; I go in there and order an oxtail with rice. The mini which Golden Crust sells as their lunch special(size– wise) is $ 8.50. Wow… ok. Then I asked for a curry goat roti, «oh we ran out.» Ok so I get the big curry goat platter that I was afraid to ask how much and a beef patti. The total is well over $ 20, so I pull out my credit card. The lady states that their card machine is down and directed me to the sketchiest ATM I have ever seen. 1) the sell on grubhub so why no credit card machine 2) this wasn’t the first time that machine was down which makes me believe that they don’t care if it does, rather than rectify the situation 3) why not post a sign so that I know before I order 4) the prices are constantly going up which I don’t know if I want to walk around with over $ 20 in my pocket in that sketchy neighborhood, etc. Like I said… last time. Even though I didn’t even get that food that time, I just left.

Empty on a Friday night which is not a good sign. They didn’t have any fish or jerk chicken. The good they did have ready looked old. Nothing like the pictures.

I really love the soup at this place. Its really delicious and flavorful. The workers are usually very helpful and pleasant. They recently had some renovations, so that’s a plus

Went here with five other people before going to a concert at the King’s theater! Between us we had BBQ chicken, oxtail, curried goat, and spicy prawns, and a side of seafood salad. We shared, and all of it was absolutely delicious. It was hands-down the best oxtail I’ve ever eaten. Sadly, the jerk chicken was being grilled outside when we arrived. It wasn’t ready until after we had finished eating, but even after eating, the smell of it was enough to make my mouth water. Staff was really patient with us while we made up our minds, and had great recommendations. Totally worth the trip if you’re in the neighborhood.

My boyfriend and I ordered from this place two nights in a row after discovering it on grubhub. The first night was great! After reading reviews I called ahead to make sure they had what we wanted to order and they said yes. It was delivered within a reasonable amount of time and tasted amazing. Because we had such a pleasant experience the first night(and was craving some more jerk chicken) we went back on grubhub to place another order the next day. However this time they had a $ 20 min(which was fine) but also a $ 4.50 delivery fee??? So you don’t want a tip? Fine. After much debate we placed the order for a second time leaving no tip since we were forced to pay the extra $ 4.50. When the food arrived, the driver called and said he was outside. My boyfriend went downstairs and stood inside the front door waiting for the delivery man to step out of his VAN and deliver our food. He never did. My boyfriend came back upstairs pissed because we just spent $ 4.50 for a delivery guy that wouldn’t even bother to walk to the door. The food was good again but room temperature. I doubt we’re going to order again, maybe if we feel like going to pick it up. To Breeze’s: Don’t have your business on grubhub if it’s that much of a hassle to deliver food. And don’t have the audacity to charge a ridiculous delivery fee if you won’t even properly deliver.

No.No.No. And no. After running out of all but one of the things I’d ordered for delivery(without telling me until I called 45 minutes later to find out status of my order) a staff member called me a bitch for insisting that they cancel the order. When I called seamless to report them, I was told there were 3 cases with complaints against this restaurant ahead of mine from THISWEEK. The only thing that had motivated me to come back to for this dry, overcooked food in the past was the mac and cheese. Never ever again. Would give zero stars if possible.

Beef Pattie and Jerk chicken is very good. I was surprised at how good the Patti was

This place is on seamless, 30mins after I ordered. They called me and said they cannot deliver. The person that called was not smart and it’ll take 3 – 5 business days to get that money returned. This place is a joke.

This was the worst take out experience I’ve had in my life. If I could give negative stars I would. Not only did the food take 2 hours to arrive, but they ran out of everything I wanted.(No patties, no lemonade, no bun and cheese) To top it off they didn’t even give me my 15.00 large order of oxtail or napkins, forks, etc. I tried to call the 3 numbers listed, but they were either busy or no answer. I was so frustrated that I gave up. I basically threw away my money. Horrible!!! Trust me!

Nothing better to eat than soul food when your feeling sick, down, or just plain hungry. I love the oxtail with the rice and peas, but don’t forget the mac and cheese because that makes the whole experience so delightful. There isn’t really a lot of room to eat in here, but just order your food to go and enjoy the tasty Jamaican food in the comfort of your home.

They took over an hour to deliver and the food was cold. As for the food, it was horrible

My first time ordering roti from a Jamaican restaurant(I’m from Trinidad and Tobago so we have high expectations for this dish) but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Junior, was extremely courteous and brought my lunch with a smile within the expected time frame. The food was satisfyingly portioned, warm and delicious. I am very happy they deliver because it is so hard to find great Caribbean food that’s willing to come out of their immediate vicinity to deliver an order. I would like to visit the restaurant in person. I highly recommend them!

Food is great. They run out near closing time. They were late with an order one time and made up for it with another meal for free. I had the jerked chicken the first time and spicy crab second. Very flavorful with the right amount of spice for each.

Okay first I would like everyone to know how rude these people are and secondly the food had no flavor. I would not recommend anyone to go there.

One of the worst delivery experiences ever. Food arrived 2hrs and 15min after placing order(45−60min delivery time). When I called to ask about the status of my order the woman at the restaurant assured me it was on its way and that she would call back after she confirmed with the driver. I had to call her again and she still didn’t know what was going on. When the food finally arrived the roti was mediocre at best and the flavor of the chicken left much to be desired. My wife was almost as unhappy with her veggie roti, although they did add a generous amount of spice for her. The portions were much to small for what we paid and the did not include any hot sauce or condiments on the side. It is unfortunate that this play didn’t work out because the only good local roti place, Shayna’s Restaurant on Church Ave by E 10th, unfortunately does not deliver.

Love West Indian food, so I was looking for somewhere close by that delivers. Had my heart set on my favorite dish jerk Chicken but within ten minutes after ordering someone called and said they just ran out. They offered me the BBQ chicken and I reluctantly accepted it. After waiting for about an hour, my food came and I was looking forward to a great meal after seeing good reviews. I was so disappointed to see the BBQ chicken smothered in way too much sweet sugary bbq sauce. smothered in a sweet thick overwhelming sauce that just spoiled the meal for me and was unnecessary.(dry rub is the new black) There was more sauce than chicken. I will however give this place another chance because I have yet to try the jerk chicken and hopefully I can come back and give this place a better review.

Really bummed about this since the other reviews are good. Called me 40min after I ordered to tell me they ran out of pretty much everything; all they had was jerk chicken and mac and cheese. Which I guess is a good thing for their business, just sucked for me since I had already paid for it through grubhub. Then they completely forgot the dessert. It’s one thing to run out of stuff, but at least make sure the order is complete please?

Last time I forgot to say about the food… As always I try the Oxtails and the Chiken, and they were great. But pretty much, everything there is good, depends on your taste what youre gonna order ;)
