If I could give zero stars I would. No one in this establishment seems to speak English, especially the ones who answer the phone and deliver your food. Waited two hours for delivery even though I live 5 blocks away. When the order finally came things where missing and some things where completely wrong, chicken was under cooked and When asked if they will at least grant me a soda for my frustration they replied no we don’t do it and gave me an attitude. Don’t waste your time calling this place.

Never ordering from there again. I ordered the rotisserie chicken which was good. The rice was really bad, had hair on it and was very stale. Delivery took an hour and a half. Ehh.

This is the only place in the area that will deliver breakfast to my job. The food is pretty good but is always cold when it gets here. Delivery time was about an hour and 15.

Will not order from here again for a while. Just ordered breakfast and it took 2 and a half hours to get three simple orders delivered. Ended up having to call the restaurant where I was answered with the generic«everything is out for delivery»; to which I responded you don’t even know where I live. Maybe 10 minutes later my doorbell rings and my food is at the door. Does this mean I must call the restaurant after ordering on seamless to ensure a timely delivery??? Not a fan of that. Also, once we open our orders they are some makeshift versions of what was ordered. One order had sizzlean instead of regular bacon. Another order had some cheese spread on the fries instead of the Spanish breakfast fried cheese option that was paid for. I immediately dial the restaurant and how coincidental there was no answer. I wish I was able to give no stars but the site doesn’t allow it. This restaurant has horrible customer service and time management. Stay away if you are trying to grab a quick breakfast.

This place has no communication skills. Placed my order with them, and have used them before, waited an hour and no food. I call them and they tell me im too far. Why the hell did u take my order then??? Mind you I have ordered from there before and had it delivered. Never again.

Upgrading to 5 stars… Ordered breakfast last weekend: eggs and cheese with a side of pastrami. They physically picked up the phone and called me to say they were out of pastrami and gave me the option of getting something else. I appreciate the service. Ordered dinner tonight and got it in a record time of 20 minutes! Stewed chicken is always juicy. Rice and beans are flavorful. Sweet plantains aren’t mushy. Chicken soup touches my soul. Ordering on seamless is a breeze.

Similar to another user, I experienced some truly awful customer service. My boyfriend and have I ordered from this place via GrubHub a few times without many problems. Every so often they didn’t have what we ordered, but that’s not a problem. I recently noticed the GrubHub menu wasn’t fully updated so I ordered delivery over the phone, and used their printed menu as a guide. An hour and change later, we received the delivery(cold chicken and hot, overcooked pulpo salad). I realized we were overcharged for our order by $ 6.50. I called back expecting this was a simple error. No such luck! After talking in circles and being placed on hold, the person on the phone said my menu(which was given to me a few days prior) was wrong, and that the also charge a tax for paying for the credit card. I asked her what the tax was, because it clearly wasn’t standard sales tax. This«tax» we paid was 30% of the subtotal and obviously arbitrary. I told the woman on the phone I’m going to dispute the charge with my financial institution, to which she responded«we’re going to have to take the food back.» Unbelievable! I told her that I was going to dispute the amount we were overcharged and that they lost a regular customer. There are many fantastic Latin-American restaurants in Brooklyn. Choose one that won’t overcharge you by 30%.

I’ve ordered from here a lot and usually order the chicken soup. The soup is AMAZING! 5 stars for the soup. Their food, though is DRY. I ordered the chicken and it was so dry, hot sauce couldn’t even save it. I asked for sauce on the rice and got a tablespoon of sauce, so the rice was dry. I ordered sweet plantains and they used in ripe plantains, so those were dry. I decided to try their pernil. I’m a pernil aficionado and am known for my tasty pernils. The pernil was so dry, it was inedible. I’ve never had such dry pork. It’s gross. Again, dry rice and dry plantains. If you have a problem with producing too much saliva, this extremely dry food is for you. Otherwise, la cabana on Beverly and Flatbush is cheaper and much better(although their soup isn’t as good).

I rarely leave reviews but inexperienced the worst customer service. I ordered pancakes with 2 options and mufungo on seamless. When I got my food over an hour later(although the delivery man was very nice) it was poorly packed and I was missing one of my sides with the pancakes. I called to let them know and the lady was extremely rude. She told me home fries didn’t come with the pancakes but on seamless there was no way of knowing what sides come with it because it doesn’t have the option of picking your sides so I just wrote it in. I understand that fine it’s not supposed to be an option but they should have immediately called me to let me know and I would have paid the measly $ 2 or whatever it would be. Instead they just threw some mystery meat in there. It was really the lady on the phone that made me mad. Her attitude was so bad. Anyways, the pancakes were great but the mufungo was mediocre. Needless to say because of the customer service I won’t be ordering from here again.

I’ve been praying to have a Spanish food spot near the house so I could order in and my prayers have been answered. I don’t know how long ago this restaurant has opened but I noticed it’s nowhere to be found on Unilocal until now that is, hopefully. The food is standard Dominican fair but they add a little more love then other establishment that I have been to. Their chicharron De cerdo(fried pork chuck) are huge, fatty and delicious. All in all I’ve been having a fantastic experience with them. Only one thing, just make sure not to order too late because a lot of their popular items run out quick during the day.
