This library is GROSS. You’re surrounded by loud, annoying teens, people farting and coughing with their mouths uncovered, it always smells stale and weird in here. The only benefit is that they’re open on Sundays.

If you’re not Jewish or a high school student(or both), you’re gonna have a bad time. This place is never open during the times you want it to be. And the most hilarious part about it is that there’s no after-hours drop box, so if you have a book due, you have to keep waiting until both you and the library are available so you can bring the book in. The computers are usually free if you need one, the printer is available if you don’t have one of your own, and of course it’s part of the public library system so you can get a book on loan, but you’re probably better off heading to a bigger library so you don’t have to play library-open-hours roulette for when your book comes in, when you can pick it up, when you finish it, and when they’re open for you to return the book.

I love the Bklyn library system! They’ve got everything you need!

This library is small and doesn’t have the best selection. However, it’s close to my house and you can get inter-library loans here too. The really unique thing about this library is that they have a complete set of many important Jewish books including the Mishnah Berura. :)
