Great food, cute spot. Service was attentive but not overkill. Had the salmon bowl. Seasoned really well and perfectly filling. All the components were cooked perfectly.

Had previously been for brunch which we found very good … So very disappointed when we did dinner this time round. Didn’t have a huge amount of time so decided on steak and fries(unremarkable) with a couple of vegetable sides, the asparagus(meh) and sugar snap peas(diced small and served raw … A dish needing more than a couple of thin slices of radish to elevate it) between us. Took far to long to appear from the kitchen and with just one bottle of beer, extremely over priced at over $ 80 and the tip still to pay. Many better choices around … Especially in the evening.

I loved this place!!! Was there last Sunday for Brunch. The food, the place and the service was amazing! Starting by the hostess who was so attentive and kind to us. Best mushroom toast I’ve ever had!

This place is super nice! I love the aesthetic and service… but there was a hair in my food… They should of comped my meal but they didn’t, actually they didn’t even apology for the hair being in the food. Finding a hair in your food is by far one of the worst experiences while eating out, especially at an elevated restaurant like this one. This place is highly over priced. If your order brunch, please do not get the polenta. Very very bland! Oh ya, they serve flint Michigan water here!

There is nothing more delicious than Café Colettes for brunch on a breezy Sunday morning. Their cheesy chorizo polenta is to die for! I love their cozy yet trendy Williamsburg ambiance. The staff is alway friendly, the food is reasonably priced, and the food is always delicious.

Randomly stopped here for brunch. It was ok. Nothing negative to say but I wouldn’t come back. Staff was nice but slow. Food was just ok.

It’s second time to visit. We ordered French toast and classic burger. The French toast is must have. Love it. The burger itself is good, but the fries tasted weird and when we almost finished we found a very small fluff of unknown hair… totally lost my appetite… Anyway, good place for brunch but just be aware of their cleanness.

Three stars. Came here for brunch with some friends on a Saturday. I’ve been wanting to come for a while because we share a name, but the experience turned out to be average. Atmosphere is very cute. An interesting brunch offering, and I went with the Chicory & Fried Chicken salad which was good. The food was overall quite tasty, but took a while to get our food and the service was just meh

Walking around on a Sunday morning in Williamsburg is refreshing and I’m glad we walked into this little gem. Café Colette is a very cute French inspired brunch spot I came to early morning(more like 10:30am). Luckily it wasn’t too busy so we got seated right away. I ordered the pouched eggs from the brunch menu! It was a yummy surprise, savory and delicious! The egged were perfect and sitting on top of some ricotta cheese and kale and other things. I can’t remember what else, I just remember devouring it all. Thank you to the waiter who recommended it! The décor is «very cute» and the back room is even cuter with a lot of lighting and greenery. I don’t know when I’ll be back to NYC, but this is a place is recommend to a friend to check out! Five stars for my amazing dish, friendly service, hip vibes, and overall great experience here!

I go to colette sometimes, but this last sunday was special !!! Me and my date went out for drinks and we ended up eating a great flatbread. Great place, great service !! The bartender and the people working that night made the night even special. Looking forward to go back !!

Came in this past weekend for late brunch. We were in the neighborhood and my friend picked the place. The food was decent but the service was abysmal(I would give 1 star). I admit I don’t frequent Williamsburg often so not sure if the level of service we received was the norm(i.e.hipster attitude) or these girls were just plain arrogant(too good to be a waitstaff are you?) I’ve gotten used expecting the whole package(food and service) when dining out, so while the food looked appealing and tasted decently(not the best I’ve ever had but above average for a diner; just the level I would expect to be served in a café), the poor service really killed the whole dining experience. The hostess and the waitress looked unhappy about being there and that reflected in their attitude. We weren’t accommodated with offers to sit in the bar and drink to pass the time while waiting, and she didn’t bother to check in during the entire 20 minutes we were waiting. The waitress was no better. She moved at such snail’s pace and even forgot a side dish we ordered. Maybe I’m old-school, but I do believe in service with a smile. People who have disdain for working in hospitality should stay out and work elsewhere.

They have jars of loose tea leaves on the shelf behind the register.

Service and food is always so amazing. The flatbread is perfection. It’s not doughy and very light. The chicken pâté is so amazing and the presentation is beautiful. Overall my favorite local place in BK!

I love the whole décor of the place. Best Bloody Mary I’ve had and the French toast was amazing too. Smaller portion sizes but still fill you up. Coming back for sure!

Second time here and we waited so we could eat outside on the tiny porch looking out at the street. It’s just like Paris with chairs facing out. The house Chardonnay was French and super cold. Excellent. I had the toasted egg sandwich with bacon and it might be the best egg sandwich in Brooklyn. Our waitress was friendly and fast. Can’t wait to go back and explore the menu.

Popped in here recently on a lovely end of summer evening and sat outside watching the local scene. It was quite nice as this resto is a few blocks from all the Williamsburg hub bub. The staff is very friendly and super efficient setting up and replenishing a small but proper table including white cloth napkins. Food wise everything was on point and the fried sardines were outstanding and the mushroom risotto Not too shabby! The place has a cool french bistro/tech décor. If I lived in WB you would find me here a few times a week.

Beautiful place. I love it. 50’s ambiance and music, diner-like décor with a quiet surrounding. Usually not a lot of people here. The only thing I don’t like it’s that they don’t have decaf at all, so I guess this is not the place for me when I want a «coffee» in the evening. Also, they don’t have sweeteners.

You walk in and you know you’re in Brooklyn… from the waiters, to the cooks, and the customers. This is what it’s all about. Envision a scene from HBO’s Girls and you’ll know what we’re dealing with here. There is outdoor seating which is great if it’s nice out. We arrived a little on the later side for brunch and it was all full, so had to sit inside. Sitting inside is just as grand. The food was pretty good. Very filling. Side potatoes are a must.

The place is so cute and good atmosphere, it is perfect for drinks. I had a dinner first time tonight and was very disappointed. I order one of the main dish«scallops with corn succotash with cherry tomatoes» as it was today’s special. The dish came and there were only 3 very small scallops and small amount of corn succotash with lots of tomatoes. I asked her if it supposed be only few scallops and she said«yes — let me know if you need to order something else too.» This should have been starter and it shouldn’t have been $ 26. It tasted average, wasn’t bad but it is far over priced. They somehow decided to offer us free dessert as they could see I wasn’t happy, that’s nice thinking. The wine was very good. I would still go there but never ever eat food again.

Came here for brunch over the weekend, and luckily we didn’t have to wait. My fiancé and I had the Breakfast Sandwich and Cast Iron French Toast. Both dishes were tasty, but the portions were small. The sandwich was delicious, but the sausage was way too small. My fiancé and I typically like fluffy French Toast, but this one was drenched in pear juices – even though it was soaked, it wasn’t soggy, and we both ended up liking it. Service was good. The staff was friendly and the food came out pretty fast. Overall, the food was good but slightly overpriced. I wouldn’t mind trying out other dishes at this restaurant the next time I’m in NY.
