I didn’t make it to this restaurant and happy I didn’t. I got such horrendous service when I called trying to make a reservation. Their manager Ronnie (or so he claims) was totally rude and unprofessional. He even hung up on me. Will never visit your restaurant. Seriously guys hire people who can deliver and be courteous… it’s not rocket science

The food was delicious and fast service, can’t say something wasn’t right, will defiantly come back.

Nice place been there a few times but damn it’s expensive especially for dairy plus the portions are small. Food is ok. Not many choices in Brooklyn. Average couple rate with 18% grat is around $ 100

Their host/​manager is one of the best I’ve ever seen at any restaurant. I think he’s been working there since they opened, and it definitely shows. We were a large party of 8 or 9 with a baby, and he set us up on a very crowded Sunday night, in about 5 minutes. He orchestrated a ton of birthday celebrations, and accepted a return when my sister ordered the wrong fish (it was her mistake).
The food is great, definitely one of the top three kosher dairy restaurants in NYC, after Noi Due and Va Bene, but a much better value. Their pizza is perfect, haloumi salad with fried cheese is phenomenal. Even some «experimental» items like the mexican fish and the new salads are all very solid. I’m thinking the only way they can improve their menu is with slightly better fries (thick cut with better spices), or with some fancier Italian options like fried risotto balls. I think they could also use a veggie or salmon burger, and maybe eliminate some of the older dishes. The sushi is done well, and really adds a great element to the food, and the special rolls are worth it. Since you’re having dairy, it’s definitely important to finish off with some ice cream or fondue!

You have to know what you’re getting yourself into… The food is delicious so the place always has a ton of people. They don’t really know what to do with all the people plus they don’t accept reservations so you will be waiting for a table for a long time. Also, the seat in situation is a hit or miss. You may get a normal spacious table or you may be in the section where everybody is sitting on top of each other so you hear everybody’s conversation. For that reason I don’t go often but sometimes it’s worth the risk.

Service and food are great! Big portions too! Eggplant parm came with pasta on the side. Not a big fan of the proximity of the tables — they are way too close to each other. Still, I’ll be back!

I would like to not even give 1 star. I never wrote review but this place just bad. Miserable service. I have to look for someone to have a menu, than I have to order from a busboy because the waiter is who knows where… Than I want to ask something but I guess the busboy doesn’t speak English and not even hear me. I couldn’t even order drink because they were busy to do something else. Horrible experience. Than 18% tips included for what exactly?! Never go back

Amazing food, nice place, but as usual gets faulty as many other kosher restaurants do. When it gets jammed packed (Saturday nights and Sunday’s) there are people crowding over your table while they wait to be seated.
Besides for that a little over priced but the food really is amazing. Food also comes quickly. Be advised if you go on a date there you are sitting on top of the people next to you. People working are knowledgeable of the menu. Definitely go.

I went there last night and I needed to write a review. Although the atmosphere or lighting isn’t anything to write home about, the food was amazing. We ordered the fungi ravioli, crazy tuna roll, Venezia salad and California roll. Besides for the salad which was just ok, the rest of the food was great. The place is always jam packed and now I understand why. I would definitely go there again.

They lied to us! I’m flabbergasted, beyond belief! My hubby and I called before making the trip to the restaurant to make a reservation, they said there’s no need for it since there is no wait time. And low and behold, when we get there ten minutes later, the place is jammed packed with a lot of people standing in line and the waiter at the front tells us the wait for two people is at least twenty five minutes!
There is no way that so many people came in from the time we made the phone call to the time we came. No place fills up so much in ten minutes!!!
I’m never going back there and they just lost a very hungry customer who world have otherwise spent a generous bill.

I order take out from here so I don’t have to wait, the head manager is always so nice and has the food waiting for me as soon as I arrive. We get the artichokes which melt in your mouth along with the salmon does not matter how its prepared it always comes out delicious and fresh. Not to mention idk what’s going on over there but those smoothies are to die for I always make a new blend and yum! Can’t go wrong here.

the worst restaurant, stay away! the worst owner that is extremely rude. we had dinner with a few of my girls and i decided to pay with my gift card. i had $ 150 on ny gift card. my portion was only $ 40. when the waiter came back he did not return my gift card. he stole my gift card and would not return it. after i spoke to the owner he refused to do anything or accommodate me at all and basically called me a liar. after going back and forth and reviewing the cameras he knew he was wrong but did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue.
the waiter is a thief and the owner is a bigger thief. stay away!

Delicious food, try their mozzarella basket, it is awesome.

Zataa pizza yo!

Fantastic from the phone order down to the last bite, we had a crave for pasta last night and a friend had mentioned this location a few days ago, when he stated that they had a great tasting avocado eggrolls.
As soon as I called in I was pleased the person taking the order eas polite clear and reapeted the order to make sure that there are no mistakes, he advised that we will have the food rather quickly and I was a bit suprised but figured we will wait and see.
As many places deliver the food cold and steamy with this location the food came within 25 min nicely wraped and hot hot hot. we ordered a complete meal for 2 soups
French onion and minesttrone. Avocado eggrolls, and pene vodka and alfredo sauce pasta. I must say everthing yasted great the only thing that took me by suprise is the fact that the alfredo dish was without mashroom but it is nothing compared to the quality both in taste and service we had gotten from venezia café.
Very pleased I will surely order from them again.

This resteraunt is one of my favorite! I am giving it five stars because their food is heaven, friendly staff, and food comes perfect timing! Their mozzarella basket, halumi salad, Venezia pasta, L&B pizza are all dishes I recommend.

I was here late on Saturday night and loved it. The brick oven pizza (the mushroom one) was amazing. The sushi roll with the pepper and spicy tuna was great. We also enjoyed the feta stuffed artichoke hearts, however, they would have been much better with a little pepper or some other spice to offset the grease. Finally, the cheese basket was delicious.
The service was good, but what impressed me most was the waiter coming back to tell me that he had already had the tip on the bill after I wrote in a tip. I threw him a few bucks extra because I appreciated his honesty. That was pretty cool.
I highly recommend it for the food, the fun and the ethics of those who work there.

This place was incredible! We came into the doors and they looked so super busy, and I can definitely see why! We were greeted nicely and then told that we would have to wait about 15 – 20 minutes for a table. We decided to wait it out, and were happily seated about 7 minutes later. (The 7 minutes flew by, as they were playing happy birthday and time passed just watching all the goings on there!) The food and the atmosphere were fantastic! Far surpassed any expectations of ours. The waiters came to check in on us periodically, not too little, but not annoyingly much. It was just perfect. It didn’t cost an arm and leg for an awesome night out! Thanks Venezia, we hope to see you soon!

Great food ! Something u can rely on. In the mood for a bite and don’t want to take risks. This is the place to go.

Consistently great kosher dairy restaurant. While the menu may be similar to others, the quality of the food and the staff are a notch above most, which is why this is by far the busiest restaurant in the area.
Pizza, pasta, fish, salad, sushi all great. Service is good but can be a bit slow on busy nights. Thursday nights between 7:30 — 9:00 are very busy, expect to wait 15 – 20 minutes for a table of 4 or more. But it’s worth it.
