Last night. I tried that restaurant. They gave us their nice larva bread and pickles to start. Baba ghanoush with baby chicken grilled on a spit was nice combination. It was delicious, staff are friendly and greeting on entering and upon exit. Good experience, will try again.

Olympic Pita won’t disappoint. It’s a modest grill, fresh dishes and a friendly staff. I’d definitely come back.

Came here on a lazy Sunday to eat shawarma in a pita. We walked in and were greeted very nicely — we ordered and were given plates to take from their unlimited salad bar. I had the fried eggplant and fried onions with tehina. So good. The shawarma itself was just warm not piping hot this time. But it’s usually good. I also usually have it in a laffa, but got it in a pita to mix it up. Which was also nice. This is a definite go-to spot in Bk for shawarma and falafel(&sit down dinners). They also have a great bean soup that I love. The atmosphere is ok and the food is good! I will be back.

They have great salads and bread, and some food too ;) For me, the salads(Without taking from the quality of the main course) were the best part of eating here. The place is very nice and welcome(It is surprising when you look from outside and entering for the first time). Many Jewish customers if not all of them. But even if you are not a kosher eater, this place still worth a visit. If you like Mediterranean food, you are going to like it. My personal opinion is that their prices are a bit expensive, but my friend told me that this is part of servicing kosher food.

They just changed their service from self serve to a full service restaurant. The very good thing about this place is that you can eat as much as you want from their great salad bar. The shawarma was good but not as hot as you would expect it to be served. Will definitely come again with my comments to the waitress before I order.

The pita was fresh and oh so tasty. Loved the tender and juicy beef and chicken kabobs. The service was friendly and we didn’t feel like outsiders in this cultural niche in the neighborhood.

The place was alright, the food is amazing however those Jewish employees are rude they have no customer service at all but at least the food can compensate for 3 stars.

Rude employees, cooks don’t speak English, $ 13 for«Shish-Kebab» just means 5 pieces of tiny chicken and bread. For some reason the prices are higher than manhattan. Probably the worst Shwarma place in Brooklyn. Also the Kebabs were burned.

Saw their adds a couple of times and was in the mood for Shawarma so I decided to give’em a try. PRO’s: Place looks nice from the outside. Con’s: inside. Place is grimy and dirty food on the floor. Service friendly but cold(seems like workers have given up on life). Got a tiny plate for salads burnt laffa bread Schwarma was ok and decent portion but what got to me is that they have the nerve to charge for chomos I thought are they kidding me this is suppose to be staple with Schwarma especially in a so called Israeli restaurant. For my kid I bought chicken nuggets and fries, both were overly over cooked and drenched in oil YUCK. All I can say about this place I won’t return as a customer. My suggestion STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE.

Amazing food, Great price, best shawarma I have ever eaten in the USA. I just went here for the first time and was blown away by the high quality of food. Especially the bread and salads. They have a special where you get all you can eat of the israeli salads and they are all amazing. If i lived in NYC, i would be coming to this place 2 – 3 times a week. Shawarma and kabob was also really tasty. I found the service quick and friendly. I wish we had shawarma places like this in the dc area.

Olympic Pita(Coney Island) was advertising their services on , so I called them up to try and order a shawarma. The guy on the phone told me that I’d have to pay for the food AND the car service to deliver the food to me. How stupid is that? This guy had the audacity to tell a customer to pay for FOOD and TRANSPORTATION of the delivery guy. I’ve never written a Unilocal review before, but this pr*ck really set me off. I hope these guys get bad business.

The WORST shawarma and falafels I ever tasted. Not kidding you. I was craving falafels all week. Looked up «best falafel in Brooklyn» and someone on Chowhound stated that I should try Olympic Pita. I drove all the way there and boy what a disappointment it was! The shawarma meat smelled and did not taste like beef or lamb or whatever meat it was. It tasted like rubber and had zero flavor. The falafel balls were not soft on the inside and crispy on the outside like the real israeli ones should be. Instead, they were hard on the outside and very hard and flavorless inside. Thank goodness for the tahini sauce that helped me digest them. Unfortunately, the prices at this establishment are very high — and the foods don’t deserve these high prices at all. I will surely not be purchasing from here again.

Dine in menu doesn’t include staples like a shawarma sandwich or laffa. Instead the only option is a shawarma platter for $ 24. Also, 15% tip is included but the credit card receipt has a line for a tip as well. The service here won’t make you feel like leaving an additional tip. The waiters appear to be working hard but service is still poor. It may be due to the kitchen or disorganization.
