Place is this dudes apartment that he transformed into a studio. The room’s are small and dirty, low end equipment but what can you expect with the hourly rate he charges. Had to shower twice after leaving, but the williamsburg yuppies who enjoy living in filth will adore this place.

Great Gear, Great Room Sound. Danny is a very hospitable studio host and a good guy. If you’re a working musician looking for a place to get your chops up with your band, hit this place up. You should not be dissapointed.

I’ll be honest, for an hourly rate studio Danny Screams is a solid deal. Danny is laid back and friendly (don’t read «your friend», he’s friendly). Of course if you get all passive aggressive nasty he isn’t gonna just smile and nod. It’s not like he’s getting rich off this.
He takes good enough care of the equipment. It is shared on an hourly basis after all, quality control is sorta tough. And if you know what you need he’s pretty accommodating.
Yes the spaces are small. Yes it can get toasty in summer. But yes it does have AC that works. It is also cheap and accommodating for people who don’t have the money or dedicated time for a monthly space. Think of it as a small alternate to the sweatshop.
