One of my favorite brunch spots to go to! I love the eggs Ben a dizz! Also, their pancakes are on point, so fluffy and moist. I usually get a fruit bowl on the side. The coffee here is also pretty tasty. The service is good and I have never had an issue. I also order dinner from here to work at times and it always comes quick. My favorite dinner items on their menu are the salads, every single one of them, I always switch it up.

Missus and I had a great meal here two nights ago. The pan-seared Cod special was delicious and the service excellent. Next time we’re in the area, we’re definitely going to return.

They have a great menu — more than just a diner for sure. And… Real maple syrup! Bottomless coffee, turkey bacon what more can you want? They have fancy brunch. Haven’t been back for dinner or anything but it’s a good place just a little small so you may have to wait for a table.

Fun diner for a brunch! I ordered the yogurt dish and it was an enormous bowl of plain yogurt, homemade granola and a large amount of fruit(cantaloupe, pineapple, kiwi, banana). I asked for honey on the side and mixed it all up myself. The table I was with got many of the egg dishes and everyone cleared their plate! Yummy food. They only take cash so make sure you have some handy!

This place is disgusting!!! So dirty– they don’t clean after each customer! I was there for 5 mins and this is the list of nasty crap: 1. The staff is so unfriendly– they don’t greet you or say hi just how many people. 2. There was a kid that was seating in a high top chair and knock over her drink. The normal thing to do is clean it once they leave but they didn’t– they just replaced the chair to a normal chair!!! And then sat the next people that walked it. It’s not like they didn’t have time Overall this place was Horrible! We came in for breakfast and the server didn’t know if they had french fries or not– She wasn’t sure if they have Canadian bacon even tho it was on the menu. I would never recommen this place to anyone!

This is my go to brunch spot. If you go here during the weekends before 4pm you get a large variety of brunch items. The scones and muffins with strawberry butter is something I look forward to very much when I go there. The pistachio and banana stuffed French toast is amazing but my absolute favorite is the biscuits and gravy! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.

Food was delicious. The person seating us was incredibly gracious and polite(unlike the one at Pok-Pok). Perfect place to stop after a bike ride in Prospect Park.

Stopped in for breakfast. My sausages and eggs came with just one sausage, for $ 14.00! My water cup was made of plastic and came with a paper napkin stuffed inside it, so my water(which wasn’t cold) tasted of paper napkin. My cup of coffee didn’t come with anything to stir it, so I used my knife, and it didn’t get refilled until I found someone and asked for more. When I went to pay, the cashier was surprised I wanted change from a $ 20, and couldn’t open the till. Lots of signs here say«cash only» — perhaps they should add«…And we do our best to give no change either.» I certainly wasn’t in a big tipping frame of mind after that. Could do so much better.

I’m only rating the coffee. For a diner that has been around for a long time — they should step up their grind. It’s pretty bad. I even went back in to see if something was wrong with my cup. They said No. So I asked them to make an espresso drink(latte). That was even worse. I threw it away in the first garbage can outside. I have not tried their food(which could be good). But then again, why go to a diner if you can’t have coffee?

They make things interesting. I ordered the French toast. It was good perfectly done. I wish the nut were not so big when it should be crusted. The steak and eggs special was ok. What everyone said about coffee is correct. It was weak, time off a star, will not get my caffeine fix here. The wine my hubby ordered was on a small size. Definitely will come back to try other things.

I thought Dizzy’s was great. My flapjack was fluffy and the butter was soft and delicious. Syrup was great and enough on the table. They brought me Tabasco when I asked for it. The eggs were great and so were the home fries. Maybe the corned beef could have been more beefy or substantial. It was a small portion and a little dry. The deluxe breakfast came with small glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and they split the meal in the kitchen no problem so I could share. I was totally impressed with the food and the location was great we got to sit outside on the patio. Park Slope is beautiful, and we were lucky; it was a beautiful clear day with not a lot of wind. I’d love to come back here any time. The food coming out of the kitchen looked consistently fantastic.

Had brunch here this morning and it was great! My husband had the omelette special with home fries, a coffee and a grapefruit juice and I had the corned beef hash and a latte. All that came to $ 40(without tip). When you’re seated you get a complimentary basket of mixed mini muffins and scones with their amazing strawberry butter which was lovely and delicious! I would suggest maybe only going as a party of two as this place is tiny. My husband and I were lucky and got a table immediately but a party of four that was there before us only sat as we were paying to leave! Maybe it’s different in the warmer months as they have an out door space, just something to keep in mind. The service was quick and the food was great! I highly recommend Dizzys!

A step above the traditional diner experience. Food here isn’t greasy like most diners and they offer a wide variety of healthy items such as veggie wraps, quinoa salad, etc. for about $ 10 a meal. The best way to go here is probably the brunch prix-fixe. The diner offers a hefty amount of food, along with a delicious bread basket, fresh orange juice, coffee/tea, or a brunch cocktail. There’s usually a wait here on the weekend but it’s definitely worth a visit!

I got home, tired and not in the mood to cook anything. So I ordered dinner from Dizzy’s. Wasn’t expecting much, but was blown away by the Dad’s meat loaf with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans(peas and carrots were on the menu — glad I got the green beans.) I am still dazed and amazed by the wonderful food. I rarely write reviews, but feel compelled to five-star the meal. I think I’m in love. With meat loaf.

Had a poached eggs, home fries, bacon and rye toast. The breakfast was tasty. I’m real particular about home fries and they nailed it! Customer service was excellent.

Great spot for brunch in Brooklyn. Overall the food is good, but the quality of the experience could be better. The restaurant looks rundown and dull. In addition, all the tables are uneven. The silverwares are stretched up and the cups were dirty.

Good food and service. Cash only. Note for management. If your inside ATM spits out $ 20 bills, don’t demand small bills only.

I’ve walked by the Dizzy’s on 5th about a million times and always wanted to try. I’m not sure if this particular location is sub par, but I definitely had a less than memorable experience. I ordered the Southwestern chicken salad(I think that’s what it was called). It was mostly(and I mean like 85%) limp mesculin lettuce. The chicken was in little cubes, cold, and pink-ish inside. There were a handful of black beans and tortilla strips. The outdoor patio was filled with kids and babies(I went with my friend and her son, so it was a good choice for us) but I tend to stay away from places like that… while still in my empty nest years :) The kids menu chicken fingers looked yummy though! I had a couple of bites of my friend’s son’s untouched meal and that was by far the best thing on the table.
