Wow! This Chinese restaurant, not take out, has some good and delicious food at great prices. I have waited to go a second time before leaving this review. The first time was totally by chance, the wife was shopping at Keyfood across the street and decided to get takeout rather than cook since it was getting late in the day. She ordered Peking pork chops which was just OK, that is with a tangy sauce but not as complex as some other places(like Lucky 8 on 8th Ave.). We decided to try an eat-in experience so we drove there. By the way, parking can be difficult. We ordered bonom fish with tofu and my bad, General Tso’s Chicken. The General was not worth it, bad deal. But the lightly batter fried fish with skin tofu rice dish was great! Tastey and plentiful. We just recently went again and ordered the fried squid on rice and seafood congee with the long donut. Both dishes were delicious and cheap. The wait staff is so attendant, respectful and soft-spoken, unlike many other places with their ultra loud wait staff. The inside is clean and decorative. We will definitely return to try out their other dishes.

This place used to be the worst. The seafood was never cleaned(shrimp poop and sandy clams) and a lot of the meat was not fresh. In its third reiteration in the past 10 years I think they finally got it right. For sure the kitchen staff is new because now we actually have fresh food, cooked decently well. As with most Cantonese dishes, there is an emphasis on natural taste and freshness rather than over the top flavorful sauces like northern Chinese food. Service is good except for one cranky waiter. Prices are decent as well.

Another Unilocaler ate here and the staff told this person that management had recently changed — this might be the cause for the change in demeanor. I hope the food is still excellent. If it is still excellent, the service may become warmer someday between their new management and repeat customers.

This is the real deal for Traditional Cantonese style food! The food quality is amazing and the portions are huge! Prices are unbeatable! I don’t know why there are so negative reviews here. People are so friendly here. A lot of my friends loves this place too! Order the«Jade Tofu» one of their signature dishes! Delicious!

I usually come here if I’m in the mood for cantonese lunch over rice. They give you really good portions here for the price. The food is good too. Not overly salty, just right amount of flavor. The service here is of your typical cantonese restaurant environment, not super friendly, but not rude or nasty. They are efficient and they get your in and out pretty quick.

Bad waiting time. An order aways takes 30 minutes to wait for ordering out. Been like this three times already! Can’t say I didn’t give it a chance.

Great place to come for lunch due to their appealing prices and generous portions. Their lunch special menu ranges anywhere from $ 4-$ 5 and comes along with their complimentary house soup. My favorite thing from here is their beef pan-fried noodles. Perfectly crispy noodles topped off with a saucy beef gravy in the center. The portion is large enough to fill up 2 – 3 people. The restaurant can tend to fill up during the weekends, but I never waited more than 5 minutes. The service and environment isn’t exceptional but acceptable being that it’s your typical Chinese restaurant. Overall, inexpensive and decent quality Chinese food.

This is a great place for Cantonese style Chinese food. The staff is friendly but their speed needs to be improved. I’ve stopped by here on weekdays and and weekends. I’ve found that the food and service are much better during the weekdays. They’re not as busy and food arrives more quickly. On the weekends, it becomes crazy busy and the wait for a table or food can sometimes exceed 30 minutes. My favorite dishes so far are salt braised chicken and home style grouper. They also have claypot rice and various casseroles.

Walked in and the restaurant was only have full. Maybe 5 tables? So okay we sat down, we ate here before they closed down and changed names and it was decent. NEVERAGAINPEOPLE. The wait was 50 min from the time we ordered to the time our first plate was served. I am not kidding this place must only have one chef or something. This is unexceptable. Food was okay but the wait my goodness. We even knew one of the waiters! But nope no hit ups. Won’t be going back! I can find Chinese food elsewhere.
