Been here several times the food, pizza and beer selections are all great. I highly recommend the homemade burrata and rice balls to start. My favorite pizza is the piganessca excuse the missing spelling(sausage caramelized onion mozzarella Fontana) the fried pizza is also amazing. Don’t get to full because the tiramisu is awesome… Overall awesome place the service last time I was there was a little lacking considering there was one other table but I’m not complaining lol it’s a pizza place

One late, late night I was starving and craving Italian food — luckily a Seamless search brought up this spot so I ordered the Homemade Fettucine with alfredo sauce. The pasta itself was pretty delicious & covered in an authentic, buttery, creamy, cheesy sauce — totally hit the spot. The portion was reasonable(not oversized at all), but for $ 14 I would have expected it to come with a tiny side salad or at least a crusty heel of bread. So the price point is a bit high for what you receive, but I had no gripe with the taste of the food at all. Now, one thing I DID have a major gripe with was this: the delivery was fairly speedy but when I asked for a reasonable $ 2 back from the delivery guy(which was already giving him a decent if not generous tip IMO), he flat out said he had«no change!» What deliveryperson does not carry change?! Seriously! I’ve worked at cafes where deliveries came & went all day & we always provided our deliverers with adequate change! This dude obviously was just scamming me into giving him an unwarrantedly high tip. Not cool. So if you wanna pay a full $ 20 for a relatively small container of fettucine & nothing more, go right ahead, but I’d avoid this place(at least for deliveries) if you are generally not fond of getting ripped off. Too bad, ‘cuz the food is actually quite good! :(

Had a friend in town and wanted her to experience how delicious this pizza was. Dropped by around 6PM on Sunday and there were only two other guests. We unpacked our fresh sangria we had purchased up the block as I knew this place was BYOB as long as you pay the cork fee. We were told by the waiter quite rudely that outside beverages are not allowed… huh? So I asked the waiter if the establishment is still BYOB… he said yes but only wine… so I politely explained that we had sangria… and was confused why we couldn’t drink it? My bf calmly tried to reason with the waiter as we had a guest with us and were really excited for her to try the pizza. so he asked the waiter to speak with his manager and see if we could clear this up as we were gladly willing to pay the $ 12 cork fee. The waiter said his manager’s name was Julio and told us he was in the office at the restaurant. He said he would speak to him and come back. The waiter never left the floor and we could see him on the phone and he came back and said we cannot drink our beverages there. Mind you… ITWASWINE and there were only 2 other guests in the entire restaurant, wtf? Not sure what the problem was and I’m not sure why we were given such a hard time but we got up and left… and will not return. VERY poor customer service.

Pizza was raw, small and expensive. If you are going to charge me $ 16.00 for a personal pie you better give me a pizza at least cooked.

Came here on a Saturday night and easily made a reservation the day of — once there, we were seated even though 2 of our part weren’t here yet. We split the meatball pizza, montanara, and pignasecca, which had sausage, mushrooms, and caramelized onions, as well as the calamari, rice balls, truffle fries, and fettucine alfrdo. The truffle fries were delicious and we ordered another round. The calamari and fettucine were really good too but I would pass on the pignasecca pizza next time because it was oddly sweet and the least favorite pizza of all. My favorite was the meatball pizza, though the crust of the montanara is really good too. The pizza here reminds me of Lucali’s, which is my all-time favorite pizza spot so I’m a fan of this place.

If you want to spend a little more and treat yourself this place is amazing. The calzones are insane. Again the most expensive calzone youll buy but well worth it.

While undoubtedly a local spot, it can hold its own in the Pepsi challenge with the other great Neopolitan pies of the city, plus they have great non-pizza items(chicken, meatballs, and the decadent goat cheese salad). The fact that they deliver until 2am makes this almost too good to be true. Quintessential 3.5 star deception by Unilocal on this one, seemingly perpetrated by stoners complaining about delivery? This has a 23 score for food from Zagat, by the way, you infidels!

Depending on the day of the week it can get a little packed, with a 2060 min wait. But the Pizza is good, I also like the dessert pizza.

A great pizza place that is open late for delivery! Yay! The first time we ordered here, it took close to 90 minutes to be delivered and we figured they were probably busy on a week night. The second time we ordered, it was such a speedy delivery that it arrived before the anticipated delivery time on GrubHub! We tried the meatball pizza and it was incredible and filling(even split between two people). We ordered the truffle fries and it was alright but not our favorite. We tried the cannoli and you can tell it was rolled around in the delivery vehicle because there was cream everywhere; regardless, it was delicious. The second time we ordered, we had the Fettuchine Alfredo which was good but personally a little bland. We also had the eggplant parmigiana and it was pretty tasty. Overall, the delivery is on and off at times and certain food items on the menu tasted better than others. Their pizza is our food of choice!

Been meaning to go here for a little while and finally made it out thee this weekend. Overall, pretty good. The meatballs were great, the Montanara is definitely unique as it is fried rather than oven-baked, and the Pignasecca(Caramelized onion, fontina, fennel sausage) may be the real winner here. No dessert this time as we had time constraints, but next time I’ll be getting the nutella pizza.

AGAIN: the worst food and service I have ever experienced. They advertise an asparagus salad with arugula. The salad is gross: 2 strands of asparagus, full of wilted arugula, and bacon that is not even cooked. Simply disgusting. They refused to give me a refund when I told them I would give them the food back and the manager hangs up on me because he seems to think I said I would throw the salad in his face. What is this guy’s problem? The food sucks, the service is even worse, and if anyone is thinking about buying any food from this place, they should understand they are going to get a freak show of crappy service and poor food. Never go here!

Came here because I was attracted to the old store sign. Checked the menu and it looked suitable. Ordered the pizza here is let’s just say dominos is better. I thought these over priced pizzas would taste good but it didn’t.

Amazing montanara pizza, great service, wonderful ambiance, and a kitchen that is open until 3:45am on Saturday(and apparently every day of the week according to the waiter)…what more could you want??? The sauce was so fresh and flavorful that I asked for extra to take home with my leftovers. The dough was so springy and crisp — with the perfect amount of char — that I ate every bit instead of tossing it aside like I sometimes do. Despite bring fried, the pizza is far from greasy, just light and golden… the stuff of dreams.

Fantastic. The pizza sauce was made with witch craft. Absolutely wonderful cozy little spot. Warm atmosphere and great service. We had the margherita and it was so perfect and fresh. I usually never eat pizza crust but something about it was so tasty and nom nom I had to eat it all. But the tiramisu. Baby Jesus himself came down from the heavens, ate it and wept. It was so good. Bravo!
