BEAWAREOFTHISPLACE… They will try and give you counterfeit money!!! My husband and I went to have lunch there, the food was not bad. We went to pay with a $ 100 dollar bill and the man in front who took my order in a black and white marble note book… GAVEMYHUSBAND A HANDFULLOFFAKE $ 10BILLS!!! When my husband told him he took it back no problem and and went to give him different ones. The man in the front didn’t not even check the money when we told him, it was like he knew already! Then I told my husband to pay with the credit card and guy kept saying no no no I have good 10’s right here. I told husband to get back my $ 100 and pay with card! Finally the guy gave me back my money. And now added a 1.75 fee for using credit card. It clearly says in there restaurant there is a ten dollar minimum, so why he charged me an extra 1.75 is beyond me … Watch your change in this place!!!

Are you drunk and in South Williamsburg? Enjoy. Bog standard greasy Chinese food joint. Everything is pretty average, super cheap, very fast delivery.

I have lived in the neighborhood for years and have ordered food from them many times, but enough is enough. First of all, it is a filthy establishment. They had a «Grade Pending» rating FORYEARS, which means they did not pass the test(i.e. Roaches, mice, flies, cleanliness). I’ve found food in my hair multiple times and have arrived home to realize they didn’t include sauces or noodles that come with certain dishes and soups(and that I paid for). They even had the nerve to throw fries, that were clearly cooked hours before, back in the frier, right in front of my face! Like I want old ish. They also have attitude issues. Avoid unless you want subpar food, stomach pains, and diarrhea.

Service was a little bad but it’s cheap good Chinese food can’t really complain. I ordered fried wings and French fries and it was $ 5.00. They also give a lot of fries!

When craving General Tso chicken or roast BBQ pork, this is a go to place for me.

When you walk a dog who thinks he’s a thoroughbred busting out of the gate, you sometimes need something substantial after. This is where Food Sing comes in. This dive on the corner of Bedford and Grand serves up hefty portions of Americanized Chinese food for cheap. There’s a reason the place is packed at lunchtime with construction workers and men you know do physical labor for work. Food Sing packs in the food as if preparing you for your last meal. The food is tasty, not super greasy, and is definitely filling. All you shrimp and broccoli fans, they do broccoli right. Flash fried and crispy. Even after a train ride back to Manhattan, my broccoli stayed crunchy. Don’t think of eating your food in the tiny space here… there are two counters and possibly 4 stools and when it’s busy you will have people staring at your food. Rather, take it to go and stroll to one of the many parks adorning the Williamsburg waterfront now. Don’t be deterred by the long lines, especially at lunchtime. These Chinese workers have the brisk, efficient work habits of the immigrant worker who knows time is money. They write your order in a notebook, they holler it to a cook, and after a short wait(considering the line), they hand you your food. There are few places left in NY that serve American Cantonese food this good and in such quantity; I forgive them their B rating(. The kitchen is open anyway, right behind the counter and you can actually watch the cooks whip up your food.). The $ 6 lunch special is an amazing deal. Order a few, sample and enjoy. I could eat the shrimp with broccoli a few times week. And if you are worried about a little oil, wash it down with some good Chinese tea. You can treat yourself to some fancy Pu’er with the money you save on meals here.

Cheap, tasty, filling, and pretty satisfying on a primal level. Not fancy at all, but good food for watching your favorite TV shows. A staple in Williamsburg for over 30 years-I remember when you had to order behind a bulletproof sheet of plexiglass. Good delivery, efficient service. Yes it’s a bit greasy, but that’s your warning, otherwise it’s a good, reliable place for a good, quick meal.

Fast, Cheap and Good. Food gets delivered fast. The prices are great. And the food is good, beats all other Chinese take outs around here.

We love this place! We can order enough for our family with just some fried chicken, a main and soup and it’s about $ 16 and they deliver quickly and we have never had a wrong order and have lived here almost 8 years! He food is really tasty, the fried rice is good, and one main feeds us all with leftover lol! I would not eat this kind of food regularly but when you want good cheap Chinese this is a great go to.

Good food and decent prices. Nothing fancy. They deliver pretty fast and the staff are pleasant when your order, they don’t mind my thousands of questions about what comes in the House Special Fried rice or the Young Chow fried rice. Both have pork so I ordered Beef rice rice instead. I would suggest the spring rolls and vegetable bean curd soup.

I’m a fan of this place because of how cheap it is and the quantity of food given. I got the Thai Bean curd with vegetables and tofu. This means that they will give you the veggies and tofu with a coconut sauce. I got fried rice as well. I don’t think I’ll be getting the fried rice again because it has a lot of oil. For health reasons I will stick with the steamed rice. They could provide a bit better hot sauce like sriracha.

If you’ve got a craving for«Chinese» food just hit up Kam Sing. I just so happen to live across the street and order carry out whenever I’m too lazy to cook. It’s pretty cheap and the servings are good. Cash only.

Kam Sing is pretty legit. It’s been in the neighborhood for a long time. Walk in and order the General Tso or Sesame Chicken and leave a happy customer. Still cheap and fast. If you’re feeling adventurous, bring your date here and dine in comfort in the lone table and chair. Probably need to wipe off the table first. The pictures on the menu have been up there for over a decade, so the colors are fading a bit, but the flavor never fades. Kam Sing is a beacon of consistent excellence in Chinese fast-food dining.

I’ve ordered from here often and this last time I bit into my chicken and was stabbed in the mouth by this bite-size piece of metal. I couldn’t tell where it came from or how it got in there, which made it all the more horrifying. No mas.

Probably the better cheap Chinese food place in the area. The chicken tastes like real chicken and the food doesn’t feel as oily as other Chinese take out places in the area. Don’t expect authentic Chinese food but its good, tasty and less oily than other places.

Greasy. Fast delivery. Super filling. If that’s what you want from a Chinese food joint, this is the place to go. I wasn’t high nor drunk nor dying of starvation when we ordered from here, so I wasn’t very impressed. I was kind of sketched out because I started wondering if the chicken was actually chicken. But if you’re wasted and just want a shit ton of food for little money, this is where you should order from.

So, I was afraid to try the place. It is a greasy chinese spoon kind of place with grade A so I said, why not?. so cheappp and not bad. I do not recommend their scallion pancakes, but there shrimp and egg rolls(a buck each) are so big. I do not mind their veg fried rice either(3 bucks for a pint). If you want something super cheap and tasty, eat here. Lunch special: Soda, rice, soup, entrée– $ 5.75. M Shanghia Bistro down the street does have amazing chinese food, but if you are looking for fast food type chinese, this is the place

This is not Chinese food. Maybe Americans won’t mind the taste. But if you are not raised in US I wouldn’t recommend this at all. Greasy, large portions with blunt flavor. «Greasy» is not the main flavor of real Chinese food. Still searching for some good(read: authentic) Chinese food nearby since I moved here.

** Delivery Review** 15 minutes for my Chinese to be at the door? PERFECT! This is your 100% average greasy-spoon Chinese place and it serves it’s purpose well. They are a bit heavier on the veggies than the meat in their dishes, but it’s still tasty, fresh and filling.

Cheap and plentiful, I’m probably not going to say anything enlightening on that front. Do NOT come here if you’re at all afraid of TONSOFOIL on your food. I believe that they DON’T use MSG, because unlike the places that do, I was not compelled to eat more than ½ my portion(a «pint» no less). You fill up fast because of all that oil. I hate to admit it, but I think I prefer the MSG. I had ordered two pint sized entrees, one was the Ma Pao Tofu and I knew that would come with tons of sauce, and the other was what was advertised as «steamed, no oil, no cornstarch» broccoli/bean curd but by the time I got home, I saw it was coated in brown sauce and oil, probably cornstarch, too. My plan was to mix and stretch this stuff out to two meals and I wouldn’t feel like I had just consumed a cup of cheap vegetable oil. Oh well. Their rice was far too moist – normally even the corner Chinese joints can get that right. No matter, if you’re in the mood for Chinese junk food, you can certainly do worse than Kam Sing!
