According to another Unilocaler — the store is NOT closed, just relocated on the same floor, same side as Sears.

The only doctors I can trust… Dr. Yee and Dr. Forrest. They are very thorough and honest. I’m always pleased. FYI, if anyone is wondering if the store is closed, they are not. The store relocated on the same floor but on the same side as Sears, near the parking corridors.

One of my first times at Lenscrafters despite the fact that I’ve been wearing glasses for 15 years. I love that they have an easy online appointment system. I was able to make the appointment that morning for the afternoon. The staff is very warm and friendly. Best of all… No waiting! I’m the most impatient person I know and having to wait especially when I have an appointment pisses me off. Thankfully, I was seen right away by the office assistant and then the doctor. I had a 3pm appointment and was completely done by 3:25, with a new prescription. I’m a huge fan of efficiency and the Lenscrafters crew exemplifies this! I’ll be back in a year for my next check-up.

My hubby went there Saturday needing to get his eyes checked for the new DMV license renewal requirements. The service was very quick for the eye exams and when we decided we were just going to put new lenses into his old Oakleys we were surprised to find out that his glasses were defective from the beginning. We previously went to Jamie Rose in Howard beach and paid a fortune for that pair of glasses(see review on Jamie Rose for cost breakdowns). When we found out how much our insurance was covering on the pair of glasses we decided we were going to be checking my eyes and getting me a pair of glasses too(yay!) We paid $ 380 for 2 pairs of glasses complete with all of the bells and whistles, and we will be coming back to get a pair of prescription sun glasses for my husband who drives all of the time. The kicker with this whole experience that got me to write this review was the fact that they gave us Oakley cases. We were shocked because in our previous experience with other opticians they were selling the cases separately starting at $ 25 for a no name case. They looked at us like we were crazy when we asked them if it cost extra but they said«No, all glasses are supposed to come with their designated case.» Little did we know that we were being taken advantage of, in two separate places, but somehow they are connected(again see review on Jamie Rose). Anywho, our experience at Lenscrafters was great and I thank Karl and all of the staff there who helped us get our new glasses!

Worked with Vonetta, great help and extremely honest with selection of frames. Walked out with everything I wanted. Having going to a LENSCRAFTERS, its a bit pricey because of the name but the warranty covers everything, a guess a small investment if anything should happen? always good to know!
