This pharmacy/​drugstore is the best kept Greenpoint secret (so do I really want to write a review?!) the pharmacists on staff ar extremely helpful when working with difficult insurance carriers, doctors; and have always gone the extra mile to get me my medication when it seems like my entire insurance company is against me.
Bonus: they have really great nail polish, the store is clean, staff is friendly, and their goods are much cheaper than rite aide or CVS. If you want something that they don’t have in stock they’ll totally order it for you.
They also have a pretty nice selection of holistic remedies on top of western medicines.
Thank you for going the extra mile. It makes such a huge difference in life.

This is a great pharmacy. They’re quick to fill orders and are super friendly. The pharmacists know me on sight and that they need to order special brands for my husband. They’re also really helpful. They’ll call the doctors office (repeatedly) to renew my prescriptions.
The store’s selection is alright. Maybe not as much variety as CVS, so if you have a specific type of deodorant you want you might be out of luck.
They also have a lot of vitamins and herbal remedies, as well as polish brands.

I am always greeted with a smile here, and the employees often ask me if I need help. The pharmacy services are very fast, and the pharmacists are knowledgeable and friendly. Also, good prices. If you need a drug store and want to support small business, I highly recommend.

Lorven has really taken care of us over the years. My husband and I mostly go here for prescriptions, not toiletries. He has a chronic illness and we’re constantly filling prescriptions. The pharmacist often facilitates when refill scripts are late and my husband has run out of meds. And he really knows his stuff — he’s given us extra information on dosage and usage beyond what’s on the label. They also ordered a particular over-​the-​counter cream just for us, even though they were unlikely to sell much to anyone else. Customer service is top-​notch!

their prices are really good for what seems to be a mom/​pop type of operation (i don’t know if it is since the ladies up front are polish and the pharmacists in the back are indian…).
4 stars instead of 5 because they’re so ridiculously nice there that i always end up buying extra stuff i don’t need.
