I’ve never been inside of this wonderful vegan place but the food is always cooked thoroughly with delicious seasonings and the portions are larger than most.

I love this place. I always get exceptional service, I always sit in the same place, and I always get the mango avocado rolls and the noodle salad bowl. I am not one of those people who orders the same thing but these two dishes are just spectacular and you can’t get anything like it anywhere else. I’ve sampled the other appetizers and entrees. Standouts include the samosas, and spring rolls, the curry is great and the vegan desert options are awesome! Vegetarian, Vegan or Meat Lover you will love this place. Especially if you are transitioning. I periodically give up meat for awhile and detox this place helps me get through the first few days. It’s hard to believe but great tasting, healthy Vegan options are not that hard to find! This spot proves it! The price is right and the lunch specials offer a great deal! Perfectly priced and the food is great! Why haven’t you been here yet?! You’re tripping!

Excellent drinks — mango lassi and mint lemonade Delicious with authentic sauces — favorite starters were salt & pepper oyster mushrooms, eggplant, curry samosas and entrees: black pepper seitan and sizzling soy cutlet platter. Ambiance /Service — top notch. I’m not a vegetarian but would definitely return!

Tried this place because of the good reviews. They have interesting dishes. We really like the pineapple fried rice. The pumpkin soup was delicious too. Dumplings were a hit too! We also had the curry and the yaki soba. Because it was vegan we were hungry after an hour! Lol service was good and the food came pretty quickly. Would come back to try to the other dishes.

I went here on a Saturday for late lunch/early dinner. There weren’t many other diners, and I was served by two members of the staff. I ordered steamed vegetable dumplings, which were tasty but not superlative. After that I had the black pepper seitan, which was delicious. The greens underneath were good but a little too al dente. The brown rice on the side had some soft beans, which was a pleasant surprise. My drink was oolong tea served in the most adorable little pot, and they kindly refilled my hot water. For dessert I had the MONSTER chocolate peanut butter bundt cake which I SOMEHOW managed to finish! Overall, my items arrived in a timely manner, and the staff was friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. I sat for a while after I finished, answering emails, and wasn’t bothered or rushed into leaving. I will definitely be back.

Such a great vegan spot. I’ve gone here multiple times in a week more times than I’d like to admit. My non-vegan parents came to visit and I took them here, and they really liked it despite being meat eaters. My personal favorite dishes are the cold green tea noodles and the Sweet & Sour Sesame Soy Protein. It’s so crispy and always piping hot. The menu is not the cheapest, but it’s worth it. The staff is always very nice.

Going to make this short and simple. Great entrees and soup! I just ordered delivery from here and I plan on trying out more of the menu due to my recent experience. Happy to have found a delivery place that offers less-guilty ordering out. They also delivered within their promised time. Order from here if you want good delivery.

Vegan gf healthy fusion Asian?! Yes please. Had lunch here on a frosty day and enjoyed the casual atmosphere, prompt(but relaxed) service and the GIANT bowl of noodles and veggies! I could hardly Finish it… but I did. Also very reasonable for lunch. Can’t wait to go back!

This is my favorite vegan asian spot, the food is so tasteful and the serving size it just right for your buck. My favorite is the curry stew with seitan and vegetables. The atmosphere is cool, although I always grab my food to go.

Finding the right Vegan stop to eat is not an easy task. lol Not only is the food phenomenal, It is right around the corner from me… Awesome!!! The menu is great. The service is humble and inviting and the seating is romantic and private. Deserving of all 5 stars. Please grab a menu before leaving, I did. :)

Back in the day before the cows got to me, vegan was my chosen food. So LuAnne’s was a restaurant I frequented often. First of all I have the say, even though it’s downtown Brooklyn, there is always parking available on Smith Street. That’s a star in itself. The décor is great, with most tables being private and nice classical music in the background. The waitstaff is also very knowledgeable about the foods and drinks they serve. Food is absolutely phenomenal. I love the black pepper seitan and the teriyaki tofu strips as main dishes. They also have this amazing orange chicken that could totally pass as real. Prices are really decent too. If you ever have a vegan friend but you still want to feel like you’re eating real food, this is the place to go eat at.

This has become one of my favorite spots since I’ve been forced into becoming dairy-free. However, it would have been a favorite before then. All of the food is fantastic! My 3-year-old niece is a fan as well! She loves jicama now. Also having the option to have a delicious dessert that is dairy-free is fantastic!

Yes, Yes, and Yes to this Asian Vegan Oasis! I loved every single bit of my food but the mango sushi rolls were heavenly! I also ordered the scallion pancakes which were surprisingly sweeter than I expected but still very good. The interior was dark and low-lit…perfect for a date night with the girl-friend from work. :-) The service was super… the waitress was respectful, attentive, and patient with my friend’s food allergy requests. If you are planning to try a desert, you must try the pumpkin cheesecake before the menu changes for the season! I was shocked it was completely dairy free; it was delicious!

This is my boyfriend’s and I go-to restaurant and he’s not even vegan! We both love everything on their menu and we are never disappointed. The service is always prompt and the atmosphere is great. We recommend the king-oyster and seitan skewers appetizers and really anything as an entrée, they’re all good!

Vegan Pan-Asian(vegan variations of popular dishes across Asia) So, let’s talk about the black pepper sietan.(You guys on here love it, so please shed some light on what I don’t see.) I ordered this dish, which appears, by intent, to be a vegan rendition of black pepper beef: a dish of beef, a green leafy veggie, and type of onion stir fried in a caramelized black pepper sauce found in Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. I got a plate of wet, soggy seitan covered in a corn-starchy non-pepper-y gloop on top of an equally soggy, overboiled bed of Chinese broccoli. My first bite was extremely unpleasant. The second a bit worse. I report my displeasure and standard food dissatisfaction protocol follows: refund or replacement. Impending pressures of kitchen close and the end-of-day led me to opt-out of choosing an alternate. Task complete. Remove Unilocal bookmark. Archive. Or not… «Who’s THEONE?» criminalizes lady manager clad in tan tones and faux fur. A finger pointed. Ut-oh. «Have you had been here before?»(Oh, crap. This lecture.) «Our seitan is manirated.»(Yes, «manirated.») That is how it’s supposed to be. Me and the chef tried your dish.(EW?) Maybe you haven’t had seitan before or you don’t know what it should taste like. Or maybe you don’t just don’t know our food. Or the difference between fried, grilled boiled or sautéed food. Or maybe you just don’t really know anything and I am going to be extremely condescending and challenging to prove it to you.” Thanks for tiger-mom-ing your customers, lady. Go to Coco for your vegan Asian. The place ain’t pretty, but the entrees are better and don’t come with lectures.

By far the best and most delicious food ever. My non-Vegan family and friends when I suggest to come here have an aversion simply because there is no «meat» on the menu. I eat and love meat too but if its protein and a yummy full feeling you want, then come here! There’s nothing better than a guiltless meal that will leave you feeling oh so nice. This time around I told the waitress I was pregnant and she immediately pointed to an entrée(forgot name… something like bimbam) and oh my goodness was it goood. Being pregnant, it can be very difficult to find something I can look at to eat. But apparently the baby loved it too! This place is amazing.

While all I want to do is support vegan restaurants, I have a few major problems with wild ginger. Asian and vegan is usually a great place to eat at and trouble free for someone who is gluten intolerant. Two servers hadn’t a clue about what gluten free is. There was no mention of it on the menu, and they kept talking about soy products not being okay. When even the most uneducated person knows it has nothing to do with soy. Soy sauce yes(because there is WHEATINSOYSAUCE), but soy products, not soy much ;-) they were clueless and I find this rather irritating. I wish they’d pay more attention. But the food we ordered was tasty. We had the jap chae which was delish. And the big miso soup. Not sure if I’ll be going back.

Fresh, delicious, flavorful. Was totally into it, even though I am not vegan. Recommend the veggie curry soy protein and the shiitake soy protein. Will definitely order from here again!

Oh boy! That was good!!! We were two people and had a variety of starters, one main dish and two desserts. The starters tasted all different and fresh and were so delicious. We had the fried dumplings for example and I ate two in a row so quick that I was able to say: «what? no. I only had one yet» and got another one. Maybe not the nicest way but I wanted it to so badly. We also had the eggplant which were very hot, so be cautious. The service was good and the portions were surprisingly big, especially the dessert. Definitely a place I recommend checking out.

Delicious clean awesome atmosphere with an open window front seating area, middle cozy warm area and an open door back of the house and then a terrace seating area in the back outside. Smells great and tastes as great as it looks. Veggies galore, a variety of appetizing dishes and get this even my meat loving friend Javi adored it. Plates are huge. Javi had the Pineapple fried rice and I had the kale pumpkin rice bowl assorted with other delights!

They do a good job with eat in or take out. I particularly like the Bim Bim Bop and the Mekong Noodle Salad. The pumpkin soup is also really good. The grilled eggplant with miso is tasty, but very rich.

I wanted a healthy, light dinner, so arrived here at 9:30pm. I was seated, greeted, order taken quickly but the server gave me Cote de Rhone wine when I had changed my mind and requested Pinot Noir. The owner or manager asked me how the wine was, I explained it was nice but probably not my final answer after change of mind, and he gave me a sample and then entire glass on the house of Pinot noir. I greatly appreciated this gesture. But then, while eating my Malaysian comfort stew, which tasted slightly of the way moth balls smell, I had to listen to the owner/manager lecture his servers on when they should ask customers for their bills, as they were trying to close. He was nice to me, but I felt these conversations should be respectful and not within the ear reach of customers. It was awkward. I don’t think I’ll return because of the awkwardness and moth ball undertones. But thank you for the wine!

ok il be honest here i’ve eaten at the soho location quite a few times but have only every ordered from the brooklyn location via seamless. either way the food at both locations is fantastic. im not vegan but this is my go to order spot for dinner. the food is fresh and always delivered so fast. i highly recommend the hot & sour soup paired with their soy protein nuggets. on seamless these choices are both listed as appetizers but they give you generous portions that make for a full meal. UnilocalTIP: if u are rolling with friends skeptical of vegan restaurants, bring them here and order the soy protein nuggets. they look and taste like real chicken nuggets. BOSS!

Been here a couple of times now and I have not been disappointed the slightest bit! First of all, they win kudos for having a gluten-free menu that includes several appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts which means there is plenty to choose from. Nearly everything is vegan and those items that are not are clearly labeled. The Jap-Chae and the Mei Fun that I’ve had are absolutely delicious and generously portioned. Lots of vegetables and a good amount of yummy marinated tofu. Service was also great and pricing very reasonable. I would eat here on a weekly basis if I lived closer.

We did an impromptu lunch here one day because the place we originally went to had too much meat(my lunch partner is a vegetarian). He ordered the black pepper seitan and I had the eggplant basil with greenbeans… it comes with a salad or miso soup(we had the salad — the dressing was a bit grainy, but tasty) and the main dish comes with a little veggie egg roll. Everything was phenomenal and I can’t praise the food enough! The only catch was that service after we got our food was a bit slow(er) — we should have mentioned we were in a rush since we had quite a walk back to the office.
