Decent rolls w/a lot of special ones I’ve never seen before at other sushi restaurants. There were 9 of us and we had ordered a bunch of rolls such as the dragon, golden dragon, putin, valentine’s, michelle. and I can’t remember the rest. Valentine’s definitely stood out for me the most because of the crunchy texture and wonderful flavors. We also ordered salmon sashimi and theirs was fresh and in fairly big chunks. I’m glad they cut it right because I’ve been to some that looked like they butchered the entire salmon with a not-too-sharp knife. We tried some appetizers too like salmon tartare, marinated baby octopus(cold), and smoked salmon on top of kiwi. Salmon tartare and octopus were both delicious. The smoked salmon one was interesting and unique, but not exactly my favorite. For dessert, I got their green tea ice cream because I love green tea ice cream. There are two different kinds that you may get at any and all Japanese restaurants, it might be the sweeter one, or it might be one that is more tea flavored. This one just so happens to be the tea flavored one. Someone else in my group got the fried ice cream and it wasn’t that great. It wasn’t fried the way we thought it would be, and came out a bit soggy in some areas. I’d just stick with regular ice cream. All in all, Mitoushi definitely offers some pretty good sushi and sashimi using fresh, quality, ingredients. Their prices are rather typical with their rolls ranging from $ 8 – 13. We left super satisfied and would gladly come back again.

I was a customer of this place since 2009… so and all the time when I make a order for delivery they always messed up my order… 2 last times they didn’t put the rolls what I ordered… today finally I called them back and ask«where!!!and why!!!» in the beginning they tried to tell me that I’m wrong! how about that!!! and at the end the owner, her name is Jasmin said that she doesn’t care and said«don’t come to my place» .What a customer service ???

Usually a good experience but today they ruined my order and gave me fish instead of chicken .no good. There staff doesn’t pay enough attention I told her 3 times and she rushed me off the phone before I can even tell her I want to pay with my card then I called back and repeated the order and told her I want it on my card because she hung up on me

Sushi here is delicious and always fresh. A few creative rolls, and a good selection of riceless rolls. I’ve eaten here and also ordered delivery, and I don’t get sushi anywhere else. Appetizers are also surprisingly good. It is pricey though. Not crazy for this area, but a little overpriced. Taking off a star for that. The Sheepshead Bay location is good for eating in, with a spacious room and a bar, good for groups. Not sure about this location, as we’ve only ordered delivery here.

The rolls were really good but I wish I would have known beforehand that the Godzilla roll has raw fish, which was misleading because it says the roll is fried, which it is but only around the outside. The curry chicken rice was ok because I expected katsu chicken but it was just chicken breast, which I guess is healthier. I loved the Odessa(fried fish) roll and the beef udon was very good too. We will probably come back soon. :)

poor customer service. Forgot more or less everything that I needed in my order and when I called to get it made me wait another 40 minutes and did not even send anything extra so a total of 2 hours wait for some sushi. Just incompetent.

Came here today as a party of 8 with co-workers after a long day at work. We ordered the Magic Party Platter 1 which was just enough for all of us. All the fish were fresh, especially the salmon! I was very pleased with the quality of the food. My favorite was the wasabi cracker(which really isn’t spicy, thankfully) appetizer. I also ordered the vanilla icecream tempura, however, the portion was a bit underwhelming to me and was quite melted by the time I got it. The cost split between 8 people came out to be about 35 – 40 dollars per person. Overall, I enjoyed the food here as well as the friendly and attentive staff. I don’t mind coming here again at all!

This is not a good place to order delivery. We we’re waiting for 1 hour and 5 minutes for our order. Not a right choice if you are hungry

Probably one of the best if not the best sushi place in terms of freshness and fish quality– nice atmosphere for quick family meal or dinner with friends. Kind staff– all around delicious and creative cuisine.

Always a good choice for lunch or dinner. Good sushi, good feeling, and good waitstaff. Always very pleasant and helpful, and also love to get takeout from here. Really good neighborhood place.

Growing up in South Brooklyn, I gained an appreciation for many things. Pretty much most of what North Brooklyn offers. Yet, nothing beats getting good quality sushi around my old stomping grounds. Mitoushi offers good Japanese food, and fantastic sushi! I don’t know what it is. I find that most sushi/Japanese places, don’t offer the same high quality sushi that South Brooklyn locations like Mitoushi offer. It’s more fresh and tastes better. On top of that, the PRICES! The prices between are significantly better. Around where I live, non specialty rolls can run you twice as much as they would at a place like this. The staff at Mitoushi are always very friendly and caring. The place is nice looking, without being too over the top or cheesy like some other places in the area. I wouldn’t necessarily come all the way here for everything. The tempura, goyza, and other item you’d find in their bento box are good. Not great. The sushi though is five stars. If you’re in the mood for sushi in Brooklyn, this is one of the best places around.

This restaurant did perfect for our first visit. We walked into the place to order food for takeout and the lady behind the desk was very nice and welcoming. After looking through the menu it was clear to see that this place has some great prices. They had simple sushi rolls and chef specials and they are vegetarian friendly. The simple rolls start as low as $ 2.95 so that’s pretty good even if the rolls are a little small. The food order was taken quickly and our food was expedited really quick. While waiting we had the chance to stand at the front and look around and the restaurant was full of people enjoying their meals and drinking and laughing … I know that’s the crowd and not the restaurant but I feel like a part of the reason people are having fun because the staff and the cooks do a good job while at work. Either way we got our food and for two people we spent exactly $ 23 dollars and walked out with two miso soups, two avocado rolls and vegetable teriyaki. Great food for staying home and watching a movie or during cuddle weather. My only complaint was the vegetable teriyaki… Not cooked well and drenched in sauce and the rice was stale. Other then that everything else was on point and the sushi rolls were great.

I love the duck salad here and the bento box options are great! They offer hibachi as well. The price is right and the food is great! Definitely try their plum wine– I can never find it anywhere else and it’s absolutely delicious!

Not a bad place but 4 stars is generous. Food is good but not always. Same dishes vary from time to time. Calling a waiter over can sometimes prove difficult as they sit by the sushi bar at the end and pending on where you are seated you may be waiting for a while at times. Portions of actual food are small, as stated in some other reviews. But not a bad place, id still recommend to visit if in the area.

The food is delicious –the portions are perfect & hands down the absolute best table service I have had in NYC(10 years later). Having been in the hospitality industry for years, I know how it supposed to be done and this place exceeds my expectations every single time. My hat is off to you, Mitoushi!

My favor Sushi place in Brooklyn. Quick service. Fresh and delicious food. Prices aren’t high. I love theirs Salmon teriyaki. Portion are huge. Makes you full enough that you barely can try some more sushi. I recommend you to get their dragon roll, which is amazing. For dessert go with green tea cake, you won’t regard!

Pretty nice sushi place, didn’t expect it to be as good as I thought. We had the rainbow roll, the Alaskan roll, the sweet potato roll, and I believe the emmons roll and some chicken roll that I forgot the name of. It was pretty good but we weren’t full so we had the vegetable gyoza which was green! Pretty cool and tasty to me but not so much for my boyfriend. The atmosphere was nice and the customer service was good.

I call this place home. When you find a restaurant that treats you like family you never let it go. I am here once every two weeks. The staff is amazing. Even became Facebook friends with some of them. Jasmine the owner is a real doll and will make sure you are always taken care of. I would recommend it to all if your looking for great food great price and great time.

The best sushi in South Brooklyn hands down. You can’t go wrong with this place whether you dine-in, take-out or get delivery. Perks include: Sapporo on tap, friendly wait staff and a surprisingly good ambiance for a place like Kings Hwy. Try the lamb chops and you won’t be disappointed.

Place is still great and has become the go to spot for sushi to some of my friends. The posting around this area makes it too annoying to be my main place but the place is still as good as I remember. Staff is very friendly and nice. Sushi is fresh and good :) The only thing I’m not a fan of and I guess maybe bc my sushi place just give it to me, but I don’t really enjoy the nickle and diming for the spicy mayo and crunchy. But I can see why they do it if some ppl go overboard. Overall this place is still great and I come every now and again when I can find parking :)
