Waffling… I’m waffling… four or five stars… if you really try to do this right, it’s tough! If I could shade half of that last star I would. Tempted to contact a coder friend to see if he can override the – OK, I don’t know what I’m talking about. Solid 4 ½ stars here. Great screens, solid bar fare, prices are right, times are good. I am hip – my girlfriend would tack the suffix on, depending on the footwear and pant width of the moment. Hipsters love nothing more than to reference sports sarcastically: «Oh, I love ‘sports’.» Compensation for lack of ability and[/or] knowledge? Yes. As a result, sports bars are few and far between in the ‘Burg, but this one’s at the top of the pile. Fuck, I’m charged up. Five stars.

This place is great. Good drink selection with amazing food you wouldn’t expect from a sports bar. They have tons of tvs even several outside in their back deck area. Great staff/owner and even a fireplace

I really liked this bar. My friend & I was looking for somewhere to catch a quick drink at while we was waiting for our other friend. She ordered a margarita which was delish because it was too sweet and had a nice amount of alcohol. We got hungry waiting so we ordered waffle fries and sliders, they were so awesome! This was definitely a good choice.

Hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had! The bun was buttery but no over buttery. The bacon was cooked to perfection. The veggies and cheese were very fresh. I like my meat well done; now with that being said in other places they burn my meat. But not here the meat was well done but juicy at the same time. It was like the prefect«krabby patty». I had waffle fries on the side and tell me tell you; THEYWEREBOMB.COM. They were crispy and sautéed to perfection. The«waiter/bar tender» was not the best. No people skills. On the other hand, the chef of the place was super nice. He came to give us the food. He’s super nice and always with a smile. Bless him and that delicious taste of food he has. Can’t say enough about how awesome the place is.

By far the preferred sports bar in S. Williamsburg. Bartenders Dan and Andre are always serving with a smile while owner Shawn is the host with the most. Love the Backyard to chill during the Summer time and Couch/Fireplace inside is perfect during the winter! Definitely recommend!!!

Honestly id just like to thank this bar for gentrifying my neighborhood. I mean the lengths they go to take the cake. You got the hipsters cheering for football and asking locals for lighters when they need a smoke. It is truly special, oh and when they have that world cup my god its like a hipster free for all. If you want to see local colors get blackened by a sea of rising rents and blissful ignorance this is your spot.

Muholland’s doesn’t have as many screens or cheering fans as the biggest options in the bourough, but it does have some of the very best chicken wings. Baked and then fried, the wings are plump and steaming when served at the bar. I once spend eight excruciating minutes waiting for the sun to set so I could enjoy a fresh order of wings(long story). Recently I came with a few friends and was able to order a whole set of appetizers. While the quesadilla is nothing special, the mozzarella sticks, waffle fries and artichoke dip were both very satisfying. Minus points for using nacho cheese as opposed to actual melted cheese, so we didn’t get a chance to have the nachos. We left full, however, on a couple pints of beer and some nice food. Nothing too fancy here, but nice option for some chill.

I am not a sports fan by any means, but I truly enjoy this bar. Very cozy, welcoming atmosphere with lots of seating and TVs. The service here is consistently fantastic. Nick is a great bartender-very chill attitude and talented drink maker. I tried the food here the other day and was very impressed. Highly recommend the falafel burger and waffle fries. They have tater tots too. Excellent.

Based on atmosphere and service. We had fun watching the Mets game here the other night, BUT there were some people out in the garden telling everyone to get out of their way so they could watch the Mets game. We were all there for the same reason and to get mad at another Mets fan and their family for trying to watch the game is just plain rude. Regardless of the rude people that can be lurking anywhere at any bar — the ambience was great for a sports bar; the food looked and smelled good(heard they have excellent wings from a patron eating wings next to us) and the service at the bar was fast. I would come here again to eat and watch some baseball/football next time I am in the area.

If you enjoy EXTREMELYLOUDMUSIC, chili nachos from 7Eleven and miss your days as a frat boy. Then you’ll love this spot.

Came in last Sunday to watch football. Having just moved to the neighborhood and wanting to find a regular spot to watch the game, and given that Williamsburg does not have many choices for sports viewing, we wanted to try this place out. Good setup with numerous TV’s along the long bar and otherwise around the bar area, at a low enough angle to see each game. TV’s are properly labelled with each game. The best part of the place is the food. It is excellent considering it is a sports bar, particularly the wings. Much better than your average sports bar. High end«bar food» made with care and good ingredients would be the most apt way I would describe it. I was impressed. Since the owner is clearly reading his Unilocal reviews, a couple constructive, but important, criticisms. First, myself and most people I know who are big football fans really cannot stand trying to watch the games with dance music blaring the entire time. During the commercials is one thing, but the entire time is a simply terrible idea — please put on the sound to one of the local team games, or pick a game of the week. Having loud dance music blasting the entire time makes it extremely difficult to focus on the games and takes a lot away from the Sunday football experience. On a Sunday in the Fall, this is a sports bar, not a dance club, nor do I think that is the atmosphere you are trying to create(in contrast to a place such as Bounce, for instance). Please strongly consider making this change in the immediate future. Second, I know that wine probably is not your biggest seller, but some of us that come in are not big beer or liquor fans. It would be great if you could stock at least a few different reds and whites each. On Sunday, there was one choice of white and it was bad(a much too sweet Riesling). I do not think this would be a costly fix and a lot of people would appreciate it. Thank you. Overall, a decent experience with some room for improvements(which would be easy to make by ownership). I hope to be back if some of these changes can be implemented.

Came here to watch Sunday football. The place is packed so come early to get a table. I ordered buffalo chicken wings here which were solid. I got a couple beers on tap which were a bit flat for some reason. The server gladly replaced them with different kinds but I’ll stick with bottles next time.

This place was great. I had the opportune opportunity of drinking more heavily than ever and I was given plenty of smiles and handshakes. Cheers to that.

Easily the WORST bar in Williamsburg. Owner Shaun is the rudest person Ive ever met, staff is aloof, food is worse than the worst Applebees. Generic décor, bro heavy, and watery domestic trash beer. Stay away.

Good sports bar, but their wings leave a lot to be desired. The menu says that they’re fried, but mine were floppy and fell off the bone way too easily with no discernible crisp. But they have good beers, and a ton of TVs. Get your bro on here, but don’t expect any culinary genius.

OK spot to watch soccer games(we watched the Champions League Final), there are plenty of screens everywhere so you can see from every angle of the bar. That can’t be said about the stools, there were only few and we had to watch the game standing up, at least we had space on the table to put our beers. Beers are OK priced, good list of draughts. I liked that the place is not the typical dark pub, but there’s enough light coming in from the street and in the early summer day we were there, there was a light breeze coming in and it was almost perfect(would have been perfect if I had a stool). Didn’t see the patio in the back of the bar(perhaps there were some stools there?). I didn’t have anything to eat but the people seating next to us did and after the long wait their dish(something fried, looked like mozzarella sticks) didn’t look that inviting. If you go there for the game and a beer(and you manage to get a stool) you’ll be fine.

Went here for a few beers last weekend — boom! Short walking distance to Peter Lugers — good spot to go before or after dinner. Plenty of TV’s. There’s a backdoor patio which also has TV’s — great for a big group looking to watch a game. Someone else treated me to drinks so didn’t have a lot of interaction with the bartender. Not in Brooklyn very often — but no opposed to trying this spot again!

I really don’t have anything bad to say about this place. I’ve only been in the colder months so I never got a chance to experience the outside part. However Mulholland’s, as crowded as it gets(it seems like everyone comes here for sport games — duh it’s a sports bar) it’s so welcoming. Something about it, I don’t know… I just keep coming back. Everyone here is having a good time drinking and watching any game playing on over a dozen TVs here. Perfect place for groups. definitely the place to bring your girl when you can’t choose btwn her and a game lol. Have fun. Enjoy

My friend’s a big KU fan and this is definitely the place to watch it. It’s nice to have a sports bar in Williamsburg, they’re not real easy to come by. The drinks are reasonable and they have pretty awesome wings. It’s a great sports bar atmosphere without the frat boy feel. Win!
