Each guy I’ve encountered here has a horrible attitude. They shrank a bunch of my shirts once when I was outside on the phone, a worker took my stuff out of the washer and put it in the dryer on high heat without even asking me. Then he had the audacity to ask me to pay him back for the dryer money. Bad experience every time.

My wife took in a silk shirt to be dry cleaned at Grand Community Laundromat in Williamsburg. Upon giving the shirt to the employee, we described that there was a stain on the shirt and he acknowledged that it was the only stain. When we received the shirt, there were multiple stains. He acknowledged that the stains were caused by them and sent it back to get fixed. This happened 5 times and every time we got the shirt back, there were more stains and it was already ruined. They kept the shirt for 2 months and by continually sending it back without charging us, they were acknowledging that it was their mistake. The silk shirt was a light cream when they got it and a dark dirty cream when we got it back. Whenever we would try to ask to talk to the manager, they would claim that their english was no good and that they couldn’t understand us. Finally one of them got the manager on the phone and right off the bat, she was very rude and refused to listen to our complaint. We even offered that if they dont want to pay for the shirt then they can give us free laundry for the price of the shirt. We spend $ 20-$ 40 every time we go so it wouldn’t be that many loads of laundry and they still wouldn’t listen. We have been loyal customers for over 3 years and even tip the employees when we dont have to and very few do. There even have been times when we have received items that were not ours or one of our items were missing but we continued to be very patient. One of the employees even chased me down the street to ask me if I had anything that wasn’t ours. She obviously lost something of another customers. This issue can be easily resolved but they refuse to compromise.

Parking is tricky in this block the sign says that it’s metered parking but not a meter or machine in sight… The laundromat: no wi-fi, no tv, quarter machines(no card) and the machines felt small. It is dingy and dirty inside and I barely wanted to put my dirty clothes into the basket . I like to try out different laundromats in the search for a great one, and I can tell you that this is not it… Let the search continue…
