GREATWONTONSOUP! According to my Chinese wife(& what I later ate as a take out), whom stubbled upon this tiny Chinese Take Out place just off Nostrand & X(next to the Dunkin Donut), is that the owners are quite friendly & personable. My wife had them make me some fresh Wonton Soup & Beef Broccoli, which was still piping hot after she walked it home in the freezing 17 degree weather, a few blocks away. The Wonton Soup had tons of nice big plumb & tasty dumplings, while the broth was one of the most flavorful that I have had in ages… minus too much MSG. The Beef Broccoli came with tender tasty beef & crisp al dente Broccoli, accompanied by a large 2 – 3 cup portion of steaming hot white rice(seemingly freshly scoped out of a rice cooker). While either the soup or the entrée surely was enough for one meal, I gradually ate both over a few hours. First the hot soup! Which was a great remedy for my lingering NYC horrid Cold. The take out packaging was done extremely well to prevent mishaps. While apparently not a fancy place, like a popular nearby pricier Chinese/Japanese place, it serves great basic take out & delivery food. Ideal take out, especially when it is a bitter cold NYC evening, and you are too lazy to make your own Chicken Soup… or Wonton Soup & I have not had the urge ever to make my own Wonton’s…
