What a secret in downtown Brooklyn this place is lovely… from the outside it looks small but I wondered in I discovered it’s lovely cozy vibe and I noticed a lovely outdoor garden patio in the back, beautiful sunny day I choose to sit near the ivy on brick wall and noticed a large Ivy was shaped into a heart, table napkins printed with long stem red rose. I sat down and was pleased with the menu and selections. I decided to have the salmon with mash potatoes and spinach the salmon portion was large it was delicious and mashed potatoes and spinach– everything on my plate was«Outstanding«all the servers especially Danny was excellent and as I was leaving the live music was beginning I certainly will be back again soon. Don’t ask for any substitutions or additions to your food because they won’t do it even though the menu makes no mention of it. The caprese and calamari were very good. However, the lettuce in the caesar salad was limp. Overall, a good experience.

This is my newly-former go-to Italian dinner. There is outdoor seating with an unusually large heart-lit stand, to adhere to all your romantic-filled pictures, and, you guessed it, indoor seating, as well. Live music is played on select evenings, only creating a soothing mood and pleasant atmosphere. Walk-ins are a usual non-hassle, and the waiters are genuinely kind and not obtrusive. This venue is respectable, comfortable, and the food, especially the ravioli in sage butter, is as delectable as can be made and tasted. Guess who will be coming back.

This place is such a gem: particularly the staff. I came in on a cold rainy Sunday afternoon after the outdoor venue for my birthday party had been cancelled. First thing the manager says as we’re checking out the space: «You look like you could use a mimosa.» Yes and thank you! The front area is very cute with several comfy couches that easily accommodates a group. Later in the evening they offered us their adorable garden. More appropriate for a sit down dinner or event. See photos below. My only warning: they can only take three or four cards max on a bill, so if you have a large party advise people to bring cash. Or just pay at the bar(what we did). Otherwise, the generous staff and great venue absolutely saved my birthday. Later in the evening we were treated to live music, and we continued to enjoy the bar for cocktails. It has an «old school» vibe and may not catch your attention outside, but the ambience is excellent.

We came Here for a surprise Birthday dinner for our bestie the food was DELICIOUS and the restaurant staff were amazingly friendly welcoming and professional. Love this place! I should of took a picture of my food but I dug in and ate everything at fast speed. My sister had the Shrimp Alfredo pasta and let me tell you I hate Alfredo sauce in general. My sister insisted that I try the Alfredo sauce and OMG! The most delicious sauce I’ve ever tasted! It was so light and creamy and not that thick lumpy Alfredo sauce I’m use to trying. Our waiter was so sweet we had two babies with us and our waiter was so sweet to the babies and spoke to them. This is a child friendly environment also and they have a live band! Boy did we dance and had a blast! I love this place! We will be back

Had dinner here on Friday night and we had a reservation for four people. The waitress seemed rushed and didn’t want to spend too much time with us. The food came out very quickly which is not really great on a Friday night when you want to hang out. We had our apps and food and then were talking for a while. Since we were not ordering any more, the manager came over and asked if we could leave because someone else had reserved our table. We were stunned, we just spent $ 200 and were just talking. We got up and left but we will NEVER go here again even if the food was good. Not the best, but good. Very rude and felt very disrespected.

The food here is great and the ambiance However, the service and quality of the people who work here are terrible. My reservation was for outdoor seating. When i arrive i find my seating was moved indoors and the manager tells me it must have been our new person who took your reservation and made a mistake. What, so i say that is not my fault. Needless to say they didn’t accomodate my party of 15 people on Easter and i emphasis i had a reseravation. I will never return here an i will make sure to spread the word.

I cannot wait to go back! Besides the fact that the food is wonderful, the service is INCREDIBLE. We went on a busy Saturday night. I had made a reservation but we were running a bit behind and they saved the table for us even though there were a number of people waiting for a table. The waiters were knowledge and very nice. Towards the end of our evening a live band began to play and we wanted to stay at the table and listen. I thought it would be a problem since there were still tons of people waiting for a table but the waiter told us to relax and enjoy our evening, not to worry. We had such a great time! My only gripe was that it was a little loud(even without the band) but I am definitely going back.

Excellent service, even though they prioritize food over brunch drinks. Lovely sun room with light features and colored glass roof. Wonderful bachelorette brunch spot in Brooklyn. Highly recommend for value and convenience :)

No exaggeration here but the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant of this caliber. It became apparent that our server was either not actually a waitress or grossly inexperienced. Food was, at best, a 3.5 out of 5. Paid $ 12 each for glasses of wine that were subpar — tasted watered down. Food prices were reasonable. Polenta appetizer was pretty good. After being seated, roughly 10 minutes passed before someone came to the table to take our order. During the wait time, they brought out bread but no butter or oil/vinegar. When ordering, we had to point to everything on the menu so the waitress knew what we were talking about. Realized later she didn’t ask my fiancée how she’d like her lamb cooked. After our main dish came, no one checked up on us. When we were done, we had to flag down the waitress after we had finished our meals for quite some time to get the check. After waiting a few mins for her to take our payment another waiter picked up our card. The hostess/manager seemed to realize what was going on the whole time but never came to our table to ask how everything was. Will never patronize this place ever again.

This is our neighborhood spot. Sure the food is nothing crazy or innovative, but it’s consistent spaghettis. If you want some good basic italian pastas they will always do you right. Their gnocchi is super fluffy and filling, I definitely recommend that off the pasta menu. They have live jazz on multiple nights of the week, and its usually adorable older gentleman with fedoras who you can tell are SUPER into playing some mean jazz. Sometimes people even get up and dance. They have an indoor garden in the back which can be nice, and the service is always super attentive. The prices are also reasonable and they can always seat us when we decide to meander in. This is constantly our back up and we are never disappointed when we end up here after that hour long game of «what are YOU in the mood for…» that all couples play.

Came here in the late evening for some late dinner. We were welcomed and escorted to the back where they have the giant heart ! The waitress gave us her recommendations and bread. Actually she gave us a lot of bread since we kept requesting more. It was quite busy that night so we really kept going at the bread with the olive oil until our food arrived. The wine the waitress suggested went really well with our pasta. From the time we placed our order to when it arrived, I must say it came pretty quickly. The waitress knew her wine well and to which food to pair it with. She and another waiter would come to check up on us occasionally. They did not have any name tags unfortunately. My only complaint is that the portion for the pasta was a little small. But that is a personal opinion. I was really hungry :) Must love the in house music as well !!! I believe they have a small bar area, but it was extremely crowded and I am not a tall person :(

We had a bridal shower here for a friend. We had the backyard which was great. They let us come in early to decorate. The food was good. We had calamari, tuna tartar(that was just ok), mussels(very small), prosciutto and melon, steak, clam linguine and salmon. The only complained we have is that they told us the food and drinks was supposed to be unlimited for the hours that we stay, but when we asked them for more food they told us that there was no more. We constantly have to ask for drinks instead of having someone come and ask we if wanted refills. Even when we asked for the drinks it took them forever to come out and towards the end they just didn’t bother. They cleaned up really quick, not everyone was done with their food.

The delivery man totally messed up the order. The stew dish was spilled all over the bag. The manager refused to do anything about it.

I saw this place on my way and I decided to stoo there later with my friends. We arrived pretty early and we ask to have a table in the patio. It is a very cute romantic cheesy place. Good for summer. We had the bruschette. It was really good and fresh. Cocktails are ok. Not expensive as my french 75 and the negroni were less than $ 10 each. We did not order more. NiStaff is good/quick. Not amazing though. I don’t live in this area but I m sure that my friends will come back for a cheesy date. See picture.

Had dinner here the other night and our party host was Dino — he was magnificent!!! Attentive, funny and even helped us take pictures and had the band play«Happy Birthday» to our birthday boy! When everyone at the table got their food but my son didnt, he made it his priority to make sure it was the next dish out! Dont see a lot of party host like that anymore. The restaurant was very cozy with a backyard dining area(too bad we didnt get that spot due to a private party!), food was delicious and came in huge portions, live band that played salsa and it was jus a great atmosphere. Would definitely come back to try more items!

We had our wedding celebration in their patio in 2013, I could not have asked for better service! Their food is great as well, it is very simple but taste divine! The grilled calamari is to die for! For a light dinner I usually go for the seared tuna salad(and I am never disapointed). The right flavors and it always remind me of the nicoise salad :) Their patio is such a romantic place and you feel transported somewhere else. Definitely a keeper.

This is strictly for their Brunch. $ 15 all you can drink Bloody Mary, Mimosa, bellinis for 2 hours. I had the pancakes and they were the best I’ve had in a super long time. Fluffy, crispy edges, buttery goodness. I want to marry those pancakes! Oh yea, try the pancakes.
