Papa John’s Pizza

I ordered online and this seems to be the best option for quick, cheap delivery pizza in this neighborhood.
I called after the order to ensure it was received and the person on the other end confirmed it and assured me it was on the way. I found out from neighbors in my building that they are consistent with quick deliveries, there are coupons and a point reward system resulting in even more discounts.
The pizza itself is decent, good for a quick fix when in a «I don’t feel like cooking» mood. Definitely not the best choice if you are health conscious.

if ur hungry looking for sumthn to satisfy u and not break ur spending limit i would go papa john’s. the only down is the 45 – 60 min wait. i ordered online received my email conformation n delivery guy was nice as well. the wait time is y they didn’t get 5.

The pizza was fine, but the TWO stars is for the rude customer service!!!

We ordered for delivery, which took quite a long time. Pizza came luke warm (the size of the large pizza looks like a medium). We also got the wings in barbeque sauce, which tasted pretty good and tangy. Overall, very mediocre and nothing to rave about.

Look when all the other places in the neighborhood are closed late late at nite its the big decision, 7 – 11 or Papa Johns. Yea the pizza is not really fresh like they make the dough there, I mean they ship everything in by tractor trailer.
But what can I say to a hungry stomach, the prices are reasonable and they do make a decent thin crust.

Review is just with respect with pickup at the location and the food. Should note that I ordered online.
The food is Papa Johns. If you’ve had the pizza before then you know it and that’s what you’ll get (I actually like it more at this location than the other locations I’ve been to). If you haven’t had the pizza, it’s good for pizza (better than the other national pizza chains-​in my opinion).
Pickup process is fast and easy. My orders have always been ready in the time period allotted. Sometimes they won’t have the soda I ordered in stock, or cold, but they change it up easily. They often will give you extra sauces or peppers for free if you ask in store. The personnel are really nice. Also, I should note the place appears clean.

Papa John’s = poor excuse for pizza. If you live in any of the 5 boroughs of NYC you can easily find better pizza from REAL pizzerias.

We ordered two large pies from the website and had them deliver the pizzas. Since it took longer than usual for our order to be delivered, we called them to get a status update. The person picked up promptly and informed us that the order should be arriving soon. No attitude was given, so that was good (bad experience from other places). But when the order came, the pizzas were warm at best. Granted that they did not skimp out on the toppings, but the temperature matters a lot as well.

I really want to give this 3.5 stars since I rated neighbor Johnny’s Pizza a 3. This location has a special deal for a large pie for only $ 8. I don’t think it is as large as Johnny’s large but it is close enough for the $ 5 difference.
The taste of Papa John’s pizza is the generic recipe engineered in Kentucky or wherever the corporate kitchen is. So if you generally like Papa John’s Pizza you will like it here.
The only complaint I have for this location is that my cinnapie was a bit over-​cooked and hard. I have never gotten this pie before so I don’t know if that is how it is supposed to be, but I would rather have had it a bit softer.
Average take-​out pizza for a pretty good price. As long as the promotional deal continues I will choose Papa John’s over Johnny’s Pizza every time.

This is definitely the place to go to if you want them to deliver, you can order it online and they would just deliver it to your house. However, when I ordered the Parmesan bread-​sticks, it was over-​cooked and it didn’t taste as good as the other Papa John’s I’ve tried. I would go here again to order delivery.

I always heard papa johns was not good, until one day my friend bought a regular individual size pie and I tried it. The crust was soft to my likings, and the dough wasn’t thick. It reminded me of the frozen pizzas but more fresh of course. I would go here again. Another positive about this pizzeria is that they serve wheat dough.

I been to better ran papa stores, i ordered from them on a tuesday night around 7pm 1 large the works pizza and an order of cheese sticks and it took two hours for the order to arrive and i live 2 blocks away .It was ice cold when it finally arrived and when i called to complain i was hung up on. It was my first and last time doing business with them

Okay so my sister and I were planning to order pizza tonight, and because we never ordered from the local Papa John’s, we went and placed a delivery and ordered a small Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken.
I noticed the place opening quite close to Johnny’s Pizzeria, there are some seats there, but this place functions more as a delivery place. I have been hearing it has been getting pretty competitive with Dominos.
The delivery was fast, and rapid. However while my sister enjoyed the pizza. I assumed it was my taste though, but I though the barbecue and the bacon overtook the taste of the pizza. The pizza also for some reason came with a pepper and garlic sauce. Perhaps next time I am ordering a vegetarian plain one. My mom did mention to order exclusively next time from Johnny’s so we shall see.
