Sliceria is closed. I had a groupon and went there to find out the new place is Square Pie. Beware! This place does not even deserve one star, but will give it as the place looked clean. First off, they don’t know what is on their menu. I ordered a pizza combo for $ 20. They did not put in the garlic knots and the cheese sticks were so bad that a 99c store would not sell them. Pizza was awful, It would of been better off eating the cardboard box. Three people working by the counter, one man with no customer skills and two other men who looked confused. Three people and they could not get an order right. The only thing salvageable was the Pepsi soda. I give this place two months to survive!

They have a container for tips on the counter with the following printed on it: «Please Tip! My boss is a Cheap Bastard!!» Stunning.

Cheap! Ordered EXTRACHEESEANDEGGPLANT on our pizza with a groupon. When we got home the cheese and eggplant was put on very sparingly. It was disappointing. We gave the place a second try… same outcome… not enough cheese or eggplant! 2 x you are off our list of pizza places to order from. There are so many pizza places in Brooklyn, one would think a clever owner would provide what they offer in the correct and appropriate amounts. You lost 4 families who love to order pizza and rolls. Silly!

Can’t complain. We used a Groupon, our order was ready in about 15 minutes. The pizza was good. The workers seemed pleasant and friendly. Although there were others there eating their pizza I prefer to take it home, the environment is the same as a lot of pizza shops, not bad just not Friday night date worthy either. We’ll be ordering pizza there again.

we ordered three calzone rolls for delivery on seamless and i was really happy with their service! eggplant calzone — saved this for the next day and heated it up in the oven. this still tasted good and they didn’t skimp out on the eggplant. sausage calzone with green peppers — this was really good. the sausages were sliced and weren’t too thin either. there just the right amount of sausage, along with the dough. i’d def order this again. chicken parm calzone — this was my least favorite one, not that it didn’t taste good, but i’m not a fan of this. my dining partner ordered this was really pleased with it since they did not skimp out on the chicken either. seamless said they would take about 60 min to deliver and they delivered in a little under than 60 min.

For the price, decent pizza. Nothing spectacular, but still tastes like brooklyn — after living in LA for two years, having a new york style pizza close to home was a blessing.

When they first opened they were known for their $ 1 slices; the price has slowly gone up but you can’t be angry, it’s still cheaper than other places in the area. Their sandwiches are very good, they take a little while to make but I think it’s worth it. Their Sicilian pie is delicious, I ordered one for my husband and friends and they all attacked it. It may not be the best slice in the area but it’s a good deal. You can’t go wrong with a pie for $ 10.

(Cough Cough)…“Ackkk, what in the heck?“ That’s the sound I made when I took a few bites of this so called pizza. I felt like yelling out«Yo dude the cheese is cheap, like worse than school lunch quality. Like if I order a slice extra hot, the cheese is supposed to melt. Why is the cheese just „sitting there“ on top of the sauce. The sauce tastes worse than the jarred pizza sauce from the supermarket. WTF! I want a refund and you guys have the nerve to charge TAX!» People were in there ordering various items, I guess they didnt want to walk three blocks down Fifth Avenue to Johnnys. I still had the craving for Pizza and went home and made a Pizza bagel, which was much better than the slice at «Sliceria» HA!

I moved to a new location and so Sliceria is now one block away from me. I walked in to see why this place has been on my s**t list for over a year. They had a pizza special, so I thought, ok… I’ll try the pizza. 2 large slices and a bottle of water for $ 4.90 total, that’s not bad. Thin and crispy, yes… flavor? Nah. I had to add a bunch of seasoning and even then it just wasn’t all that. Even though I said there would be no third chance for them to screw up, I decided to give them just one more try since I had never actually had their pizza. I’ll walk the extra block to go to the next pizzeria.

This place is alright, there isn’t really anything special about the pizza; they barely add cheese to the pizza though. It’s pretty cheap for a slice, however the price has been increasing. It’s like approximately $ 10 for a whole pie. They also have promotions which sometimes include free soda.

I’ve never actually eaten in but the décor and logo is certainly cool and welcoming, it stands out in the neighborhood. The pizza is good, not great, but delivery is fast and the guys on the other end of the phone as well as the delivery guys are all really friendly. And by friendly I mean I called and the guy who picked up started singing to me and we made a few fun jokes to each other before getting down to business. I have a hawaiian pizza in the kitchen right now and I can’t wait for a cold leftover lunch tomorrow.

I had a slice of their regular pizza and it was okay. I think, however, that I prefer Ellio’s. At the time, we also ordered a whole wheat pizza. After wondering if they actually had any whole wheat dough, one of the guys went to the freezer and took some out. Unfortunately, once we received the final product, it definitely had that frozen food taste. It was not good. I gave them two stars because they were friendly, albeit not to us — to some children that came in after we did.

The pizza is not bad for the recession price. Other locations sell cheap pizza that doesn’t taste good but this joint is actually good for normal small business pizzerias. They have a lot of promotions, varying from a free game of bowling, to free soda.

The Bad — It’s cheap pizza(what more can I say?) The Good — Pizza wasn’t that bad(wasn’t that great either — go to Johnny’s Pizzeria or Grandma’s Original) — Affordable pizza The Bottomline– Well, I’ll just let you judge for yourself. Cheap pizza = not great quality. However, this place was okay. I had it just when they opened. It was $ 1.00 a slice not including tax. Every couple of weeks it seems that they are increasing their prices gradually… must be making good service then.

Well, guys, the pizza is now up to $ 1.50… plus tax, that’s 1.65 per slice. Oh well. Still cheaper than most places. I’d never had pizza here before, so under $ 2 a slice was what lured me in. The interior is nice and bright, and the staff were super friendly, which is something rare with pizza joints. The pizza itself isn’t that bad! Good sauce to cheese ratio, nice thin crust that crunches when you bite in to it, and just enough oil to make it worth eating. It’s certainly not the BEST pizza in the world, but it’s very good. I just moved to the neighborhood, so I am sure this place will be a frequent stop for me. Thumbs up!

A thin Brooklyn slice for $ 1.40– unheard of in this day, until now. Sliceria is the go to pizza joint in sunset park for there recession priced specials. Good amounts of sauce and cheese makes this a delightful slice. Hopefully they stick w/there low prices, so I can eat more slices.

What can I say a bright clean pizza shop in Sunset. Nice staff, nice selection. Pizza without the oomph factor. Pretty much the average Pizza, Scotty’s is better though!

Sliceria makes a really solid pizza. They also make some wacky things, like that hot dog pie or that dessert pie, but I haven’t tried those. Frankly, I don’t think I need to try anything else now that I’ve had the meat lover’s pie. It may not really be for meat lovers, since it’s not the kind of thing you usually think of – that pie that is overloaded with toppings where one slice will make you feel like you have made a lot of terrible decisions in life, all of which have culminated into the little triangle that now sits on your plate. Instead, it’s a nice balance of toppings, everything sliced thin, so the crust stays somewhat crisp. And that crust is good, not too doughy or chewy, topped with a really good sauce that is tangy with just the right amount of sweetness. With old stand-by Johnny’s just a couple of blocks away, people will probably stick with that and not check out the slick-looking Sliceria. But I’ve never liked Johnny’s. Their pizza is just okay, and not worth going back for. Sliceria, though, is a nice addition to the pizza options on 5th Ave, and I hope it stays a while.

Okay this location has been a pizza joint since I was in Primary school, living in Brooklyn, and in this community makes you aware of things. So yes Sliceria is the latest successor to this pizza spot. The décor of the place is interesting. as you look up, going into the location you would see several pans of pizza pans stuck to the ceiling. Would that turn you off. maybe or maybe not. Definitely an artsy approach though. Their current gimmick is recession costs, so while their pizza isn’t all that, it may be sill cheaper than places like Dominos, Papa John’s or even Johnny’s a couple of blocks down. But what I find annoying is their inclusion of tax, on the pizza. The selling price for the slice of Pizza is $ 1.25, but with tax it comes out to $ 1.40. so I believe they are inflating the cost. This place is good for a quick bite though.

I was going to give them three stars, based on a late night chicken roll(at your worst is when we need you to shine after all), but these fucks love to shill; c’mon, five stars all in July from users who joined in July? They didn’t even try to hide it! The only thing authentic about this joint is how Brooklyn it is. Good solid slices, yes, at great prices($ 1 recession special as of this review), but exceptional or Italian it ain’t. Johnny’s is a few blocks up the street rockin’ a $ 3 sausage roll I recommend you try(and save $ 2). If they’re closed, you can probably get something close here. Or eat peanut butter for dinner. You won’t notice the difference.
