Patties

So so good! One of the Best Jamaican beef patty I have tried. I haven’t tried the other dishes but looks so good and smells good. The cook was very loving and inviting. The truck is very clean and I will come again.

Where have you gone? I used to meet you Tuesday’s and Thursday’s on 46^th and 6^th but you’ve been missing since the popes visit. What has he done to you??? Seriously though, anyone have a number for this truck?

Patties tends to be here in the financial district at least once a week during the summer months. The first time I noticed them, I did a double-​check because the first thing to catch my eye was the patty menu! Chicken, fish, beef, etc. $ 2.00 for coco bread. I strolled up and even though people were standing around waiting for other food (they also serve up full dishes such as curry goat, chicken, etc.) they were quick to ask what I wanted.
Both times I’ve been here, my chicken patty with coco bread has been amazing! The patty is HUGE and the coco bread provides that hint of sweetness that I was looking for. Everyone that works at the truck is so nice and pleasant and they’re fast. Definitely not something to be missed if you love Caribbean food. Also, prices are fair at $ 3.00 for a patty.

I love the oxtail and roti. The service is great. A very friendly lady from Nigeria makes the food and serves you. The truck is on 7^th ave Monday — Thursday and on 5^th ave Fridays and Saturdays. If you like Caribbean food definitely make a visit!!!
