Vaquero’s

I woke up one Sunday morning with a real craving for watermelon juice. Lo and behold, Vaquero’s at the Red Hook Ball Fields was able to satisfy that craving. They have two sizes of juices ($ 2 for the medium and $ 4 for the large). Amazing deals. You would probably pay twice that if it were some random bodega in Manhattan.
Loved the watermelon juice. Mango was good. Pineapple was fine.
They also sell corn in a cup, which is a more neat way to eat grilled corn, though not as tasty. You basically get a solo cup full of corn, cheese and hot spices/​mayo. It’s just not the same as the charred corn (which you can also get from them). But at $ 3, you basically get 8 oz of corn, which is a ridiculous amount of corn. I mean that.
They also sell fresh pre-​packaged cut fruit, so if you feel unhealthy after all the other food truck delights, cleanse your palette at Vaquero’s!
