I discovered the place when I needed color correction on my lunch hour. Marzena saved the day, and I haven’t stopped going to her since. She’s an AMAZING colorist, and an absolute delight. Plus, she keeps track of your specific recipe, and has it ready to go within seconds if you’re just going for a refresher.
Also, this is a gem of a location in Greenpoint with the most affordable rates for high-​end products (and services). A roomy, clean and airy spa with good vibes from front to back.
The best part is that hipsters haven’t discovered it yet (strangely, because they’d love its authentic Polish vibe), and most likely continue to pay way too much for the same quality elsewhere. (I also witnessed a woman in her 20s on her way to Southern California gushing about how well they do eyebrows.)
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t mind raving about it here… let the hipsters find out about Marzena… I don’t think her prices will go up. In fact, when I’ve gotten a couple of things done at once and paid cash, I definitely received a discount. Now that’s customer appreciation!

I came in here to do my eyebrows. The woman’s name was Agata. She did a great job and gave me very good advice. Prices are very reasonable. I will be coming back, and making an appointment to do my hair! xx

Pure Beauty is a very pleasant and clean beauty spa with very reasonable prices. Renata is a calming, knowledgeable esthetician and a skin expert. She gave me a good recommendation how to take care of my skin and what are good products apply for my skin type. She used soothing organics products that left my face clean and absolutely not red afterwards. I got also brazilian wax and henna which I was really pleased with it. When you use another services while you have facial, you get a discount. I will definitely come back.

This place is incredibly clean, the ambiance is relaxing with walls covered with soothing colors. There are always fresh flowers at the front desk and you are offered a coffe or tea the moment you enter the door. The staff is well trained, the ladies really know what they are doing. Will be back there again and again.

I was referred by a friend to try their facials and am very happy that I did.
The salon is clean and pleasant and the owner Renata was very attentive and patient in answering all of my questions. She explained what she was doing throughout each step of the process, which I really appreciated. In the end, my skin was softer, smoother and purged of all the icky stuff :) I found the experience to be quite relaxing.
A huge plus that they are familiar with African American skin care! And prices were reasonable too.
Will be back for regular facials … :)

My pedicure from Pure Beauty was fabulous. The customer service and attention to detail was impeccable, to great results!

Maybe Reviewer 1 was referring to their old location, but this location is really pleasant and perfectly clean. Renata gave me the best facial I’ve ever had — and I’m very picky! 2 hours, thorough extractions (practically every inch of my face) — even in the ears! (Now THAT’S attention to detail!!) It was Good Friday, so I even got some special babka, a chocolate egg, and green tea in a china cup! Felt very relaxed and pampered.
They customize to your skin type, and the range is $ 90 – 120. Mine was $ 100. Highly recommend. Pure Beauty, 663 Manhattan Ave. (bet Nassau and Norman) (new address).

Place is not that clean, but they have reasonable prices for all cosmetic procedure.
