There is a new 99c store right across the street from this one that I am now frequenting rather than Shopping Time. Yeah, Shopping Time has the standard 99c array of household items, but it is grimy, generally cluttered, the staff are unfriendly and what pisses me off most is that they have «guards» at each door staring at you as you walk around and who ask you to leave your backpacks up at the front. Sorry, I don’t want to steal your crappy sponges, and because you treat me like a thief, I’m headed to the competition.

This is a decent 99 cent/​discount store. They have generic brands and name brand (Johnson & Johnson, Crayola, etc) as well. Probably worth a stop in for paper towels and other home goods if you live in the neighborhood.
