I loved Sunflower when it was at this location but it has made a move since the last review was written. At the old location the chicken teriyaki was delicious– grilled to perfection and always juicy. Unfortunately I have ordered it once now from the new location and the formula had changed– the chicken didn’t seem as good. Anyways, I also love the burrito, philly roll, and spicy salmon roll. Yes that’s right– the mexican and sushi food here is pretty good. Pass on the nachos or beans, bland.

Sushi AND tex-mex??? Yep… Im a sushi hater… I think its nasty and I refuse to eat it. Problem being my boyfriend LOVES it. So everytime we go to a Japanese restaurant i’m stuck eating tempura and theres only so much deep fried vegetables I can take before I want to hurl. So we’re walking home from a lovely shopping spree on 86^th street and take a look at the 2 menus they have on the door. Holy moses! Sushi and Tacos!
AAAANd they were good! Well, the tacos were. I had some Tempura ice cream bc thats how I roll. My other half had some vegan sushi combos that he thought were delicious. It was also cheap too.
We will be back.
