An amazingly well-curated shop that has become my favorite shop in Williamsburg — the store is absolutely beautiful! I’ve discovered so many great designers here and always come home with great pieces. The service top-notch, both helpful and honest(the staff understands what I want, before I even know!). It’s also a great place to bring/impress my out-of-town guests!

Gosh, they have such great pieces here. Shop boutique labels with a helpful and friendly staff. Occasionally dog sightings ;)

I was visiting from out of town with my daughter, and wandered into the store on a whim. The clothing is beautiful and beautifully made. It was the sales staff, however, that made the store. They weren’t pushy or snobby(looking at another Bburg store), and were very helpful. Great quality, artisan clothing and accessories. Fabulous staff. A website so I can get my fix in Chicago. I will absolutely shop here again, and recommend it to everyone.

If you’re looking for a place to shop(and/or drool) this place should be at the top of your list for stores to hit in Williamsburg. It is a gorgeous space in and of itself with tons of natural light(a huge plus for shopping and trying things on) and the pieces for sale are well curated by the owners. These people know their stuff and the quality is superb but every piece I’ve acquired from this store will hold up for years and I get tons of compliments! Love love love this place

Hands down one of the best new clothing stores in the city. The owners have a great eye and the sales staff is lovely. The brands are thoughtfully curated, the space is clean and uncluttered, and their mailings worth signing up for. Definitely make the trek over from the main Wburg drag!

Great place to get a one-of-a-kind look! Each piece is chosen with care, the space is amazing, and the staff is super knowledgable and welcoming.(But not pushy!) Its a bit expensive, but the quality of everything I’ve purchased is excellent and well worth the money. I love that I’m supporting local and new designers who produce their goods in a responsible, ethical, and thoughtful manner. I always get tons of compliments whenever I wear something from here, be it sweater dress or bag! This is where I go when I want to splurge.

The store is beautiful and the people who work there are super nice. I wanted an antidote to bird, and a new place to lust over the goods. I get that they want to support more indie designers, but it’s hard to spend $ 300 on a brand I’ve never heard of.

If you’re a guy — here’s why you should shop at Swords-Smith: 1) You’ve been to three parties this month and said, «I have the exact same shirt that guy does.» 2) You only want to look through really curated looks instead of drifting around a store wondering how many racks of cargo shorts you need to look through before you can leave. 3) You want to be relaxed when you shop — no crazy sales reps hounding you in a space that’s as big as the smallest room in your apartment. 4) You want to buy clothes that support small or local designers who put blood sweat and tears into their work. 5) Your girlfriend will love you for taking her there! Here’s the main reason you might NOT like shopping at Swords-Smith: 1) Your girlfriend ends up wearing the shirt you bought there because she likes it a lot.
