I absolutely love it here! They have the BEST customer service I’ve ever had at a Chinese takeout spot! Like hands down, friendly and kind as ever! The food is exceptionally tasty and prepared quickly.

Been here a couple of times and I’m genuinely shocked it has ⁴⁄₅ stars on Unilocal so i feel compelled to say something. Pretty much everything I’ve gotten here has been the absolute worst time I’ve ever had that dish, no exaggeration. And everything else has been extremely average but very greasy. My neighbors have mentioned it a number of times as well as being terrible. A friend who rarely ever dislikes food couldn’t even eat their dumplings. The only thing it has going for it is that it’s really cheap and it’s sadly the closest restaurant to me so even after this I will probably return to it.

Had some Sesame Tofu and a box of fried rice. Rice was awesome! Even has peas and carrots in it. Tofu was too sweet; but eh, palatable. Service was very nice! It’s a right-fine chinese place, basically. Cheap and filling.

The people are so warm and welcoming! I’ve been ordering here for weeks and generally like the food selection. It’s all pretty good food considering the price range and super affordable for large portions. I love this place and the people that work here are so nice! Definitely eating here again and again.

I tried this place only because it had 4.5 stars but otherwise appeared to be a cheap-ass Chinese joint. All those stars must be the result of the power of positive thinking, manifesting wishes, all that stuff «The Secret» is all about, I think. Normally I avoid these sorts of restaurants.
My theory: U Like got great reviews because they named it U Like. They influenced perceptions.
A name like U Tolerate or U Accept Because Nearby Options are Limited probably wouldn’t get this place the «Woohoo!» reviews in quite the same way.
I can’t agree with the other reviewers on the quality of the food, especially over the claims that it’s non-greasy. It was not non-greasy. I got actual pools of grease in the bag I walked out with.
I’m in agreement over the prices though. U Like is cheap. $ 15 got me 3 meals worth of food, even though it was 3 meals mostly of fried onions. The curry chicken didn’t have much chicken in it, just filler vegetables and more corn starch than curry.

The food’s pretty good here — nothing life-changing, but it’s also not sad and greasy like a lot of the cheaper options around. And it is pretty cheap — I’d say the value was one of the best aspects of the place. I paid very reasonable prices for some good food!
The staff was friendly and efficient, so I didn’t have long to wait — and everything was quite clean! I’m sure I’ll be back.
Two notes: they use vegetable oil only, and only accept cash (though there are several nearby ATMs.)

Super friendly people and adequate food selection. Not so many vegetarian options (no spring rolls, non-meaty soup etc) but their dumplings are damn good, and cheap!
There’s nothing really bad about this place, minus the fact that they don’t deliver. But I live less than 200 feet away so I’m just being lazy.

As I sit here nursing my post NYE hangover, I am about to place my first order of what will be dozens in the coming year. This place is my go to for when I don’t feel like cooking or aren’t going out for dinner, which amounts to multiple times a week if I am being honest.
They are incredibly friendly, with every phone order starting with, «What U Like?» By the time I put on my coat and strap on my boots and head over, the food is ready. But not before they show you it, so you can make sure it’s what you wanted. My go to’s are their egg drop soup and fried tofu and broccoli with brown rice. Fresh food, made with your adjustments if necessary. This place always has a couple people waiting for pickup. The only downside is when I’m incredibly lazy and wishing they would deliver!
