A decent pizza if you need a delivery in Bed-Stuy which I often do. A bit more on the greasy side than I like though.

Exactly what you expect from a Brooklyn pizzeria. The food is plenty good enough and the service is quick and friendly.

This place is highly over-rated. I have trouble remembering their name all the time; around my house we call it «Comic Sans Pizza» since it’s logo is in the font comic sans, the most loserish of all fonts(and I’m not even a font geek). On more pressing issues, this place is not exactly a failure, but not a success. In terms of New York pizza, the slices rate pretty low. If you’ve been into one cheap faceless pizza place in New York, you’ve been into them all, and you’ve been into Uncle Vinnie’s. They do all the things a pizza place does: pies with toppings, beef patties, the occasional sandwich and more complicated dish, and they do them competently but not well. If you’re walking past and you need a slice, they will be able to sell you one. If you’re at home and you need a pizza, they’ll deliver it, and it’ll be good enough, but tolerable is all you’re getting here. Go down to King’s Pizza on Fulton for a better slice or pie. You’ll thank me.

There are several pizza places in the Stuyvesant Heights area, but I don’t do halal and just can’t abide freakin’ Domino’s. This is Brooklyn, folks. Let’s go for the REALNEWYORKPIZZA.(Is that so wrong?) Uncle Vinnie’s is simply an oasis. They’re open early; they’re open late; they deliver. The pizza is made by Italians. It’s crispy, hot, cheesy, zestfully saucy and delicious. Cold leftovers from the fridge the next day … just what the doctor ordered. Grab a menu and keep it handy!

Uncle Vinnie’s Pizza is a small quaint, bright pizzeria situated next to the Halsey/Throop Ave stop on the B26 bus. It can seat about 10 people in it’s white tiled parlor. Vinnie’s serves regular pizzeria eats as well as Italian ices from the large white bin… you know the one. The place is clean; the service time is just right. The workers are nice. The pizza is pretty good for a local joint. I paid $ 14.50 for a medium pepperoni pie. Delivery is free. Beef patties are $ 2, add cheese for an extra $.50.
