Food is awesome but service is pretty aloof. Be prepared to wait but in the summers it’s a little better since they have additional seating outside.

The pizza is a light meal for two that wasn’t dense, with fresh ingredients. Crust was crispy on the out side but wetter in the center. Good for a light meal but won’t keep you full all night. You can fix that with two pies!

There’s a lot on the menu that looks great(hello, lobster roll!), including a variety of pizzas. I had lunch here with a friend around 1 in the afternoon and were seated promptly with two classes and a large carafe of water. The server came by quickly to ask if we wanted anything to drink, and was polite & non-pushy when we needed more time. The two of us split a bufala pizza, which was awesome. The crust was thin, the mozzarella was soft & gooey, and the sauce was nicely seasoned-not overwhelmingly garlicky or sweet or anything. The pizza was about 12″ to 14″ in diameter, which made it a good size for splitting at lunchtime. Had it been dinner or had I been super hungry, I probably would have wanted a salad or appetizer to accompany that. Two glasses of wine(one red, one prosecco) and the pizza totaled $ 38.11– including tax, but before tip. They were great about splitting this between our two credit cards. Older reviews state that it’s cash only, which is definitely no longer the case.

Everything here is always great! Go for brunch, go for dinner, go whenever. The restaurant tends to be busy on the weekend, but we’ve never had bad service, even at hectic times.

The service was very friendly and acceptable the prices are reasonable for the area not too expensive not too cheap and the pizza was quite good considering this. In addition the interior Décor is quite homie and the nice spots to either get brunch or go on a quiet date

Cute pizza spot with plenty of bike parking. Service was a little slow but I think it’s part of the atmosphere. Looked like a lot of people were on dinner dates. Pizzas are personal pie size. Beer and wine selection.

The pizza was SO great. But the service was horrible. Would have went somewhere else if I’d have known that. We waited for a table for about an hour, and when we were seated, it’s almost like we became invisible. Granted, it was a Friday night and it was pretty busy, but they should hire more support staff on the weekends to help with the workload in that case. It took forever for someone to take our order, it took forever for someone to notice that we’d finished eating, and it took forever for someone to bring us the check. It’s probably a good idea to go to this place during the day or on an off night, the pizza would probably be probably worth it then.

My friend asked me to join him for dinner in Bushwick. He chose Saraghina, and I’m happy he did. First of all I love the hole in the wall vibe and rustic décor. On the outside it looks like a run down hole but when you walk in, you really walk in to Bushwick and feel it in the vibe. It is awesome! Although our experience this time wasn’t mind blowing, I know and feel like it was a one off as they were immensely busy. I feel like if I were to come on a quieter night, I wouldn’t want it to end. As they were so busy, there were no tables available so we sat at the bar and the waitress advised that if a table were to open we could switch. We were so engrossed in conversation and food that it didn’t really matter. We ordered pizza, salads, some greens and wine! Amazing wine. The pizza was absolutely phenomenal. I loved the sauce to cheese ratio, it was just right and had a beautifully charred crust. The salads were just right too. They were fresh, nicely seasoned and very tasty. We were going for a quick dinner because we had plans so I don’t have a lot to write about this last experience. I can say, that I cannot wait to come back whether for brunch or another dinner.

The best pizza ever! I am in love… this place is great for brunch. The menu is perfect and so is the food. The pizza is everything you want it to be and more, and I love pizza and have had it from many different places and Saraghina is at the top of my list of «Top 5» as a matter of fact it’s #1. The French toast is also very good, all the dishes I had or shade was excellent and I look forward to coming back. This place is a must!

Of course I have a brunch to do list! When it comes to brunch my older brother is my partner in crime. Last Saturday he let me pick wherever I wanted. I wasn’t constricted by the Williamsburg borders. Saraghina has been on the top of my list and now that I live above Bed-Stuy it would only be a 20 minute commute. I got some compliments from the old men sitting outside on my way over… very interesting atmosphere in Bed-Stuy. The first spot I saw was the attached bakery. And then I saw the stunning artwork from Brooklynite Shantell Martin! As I turned the corner I saw my brother. The place is huge with large room by the entrance, a medium room in the back, two bar rooms and a patio. Yes, this place is great for large parties or intimate dinners. To avoid crowds and still be able to people watch, we stayed at the bar. The space itself is stunning. There is old world charm, cool vintage knick knacks later throughout the restaurant, plenty of natural light and white washed walls. I could easily make this my Saturday routine. The bartender Chris had already been entertaining my brother with libations. I ordered Counter Culture coffee and some water. After looking over the menu, the Italaliano Margarita was a must in my book. I love a balance of sweet, spicy and tart. The menu had more options than I imagined. The po boy was calling my name but the bartender convinced me to give the special a chance. I’m a carb lover and the bread is the highlight of the dish. Saraghina is very much well known for their bread. «Rospo nel Nesto» which is their version of egg in the hole. Their freshly made thick multigrain Pullman bread has a egg and mustard greens cooked inside the wood burning stove and drizzled with a mustard greens aioli. When I received the dish it looked like a Jackson Pollock painting and tasted incredible. Everything was perfectly cooked. I was more than happy with the bartender’s suggestion. I almost forgot to mention our brunch amuse bouche was the sticky bun. They have tons of treats taunting you beneath mesh baskets on cake stands. It was the right amount of sticky and soft and crispness. The Bloody Mary my brother ordered was not my favorite. The oregano was too reminiscent of tomato sauce for my liking but it still went down the hatch. Overall I was super happy with my experience and if I lived in the neighborhood I would be a permanent fixture. I can’t wait to make my way down the menu.

Service was okay. We ended up waiting more than we needed to because we had been standing outside like the rest of the crowd and the server didn’t think to come out and ask for us. We were also never offered bread for our table before our meal. We ordered two pizzas and the fried calamari. The calamari was pretty good. I really liked how there were a variety of different things– we got fried broccoli, artichokes, shrimp, fish, and calamari! The amount of sauce they give you is pretty stingy, though. The margherita pizza was really good! The special pizza had some kind of green sauce that tasted like liquid celery/spinach, but it was really overpowering and quite frankly the only thing we tasted… The pizza was still pretty good. The dough was quite chewy and delicious!

Came here recently for, I think, the fourth time. And while, in general, I love this place, my review this time is mixed. We started with a very nice salad that was a large bowl filled with red watercress, walnuts and goat cheese. I had a house red that was not particularly impressive. To make it even less so, they serve it in a little water glass while, if you order anything other than a house wine, you get a real wine glass. Not too subliminal this message, methinks. My dining partner ordered a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, if I remember correctly, that, very disappointingly happened to be a little oxidized. Happily, our dinners were better than our wine choices. I had the tagliatelle with a Bolognese sauce. My son-in-law had a spaghetti marinara that had a dark garlicky sauce that was rich and absolutely delicious!

The hype is real. Saraghina is an innovative pizza place that really excels in experimental, silly pies. The crust is thin, the red sauce is tangy, and the ambiance is very comfortable. It’s good for a date or good for groups. Skip the appetizers so you can get more pizza. I was a huge fan of the focaccia special — It’s basically another pizza, but topped with goat cheese, caramel, sea salt, pink peppercorns, and microgreens. I haven’t ever had anything quite like it before.

Was really looking forward to try their pizza since a friend insisted how it is better than Roberta’s. Pizza tastes great but i wish the temperature could be hotter. Despite it just came to our table, i picked up the first slice and it’s like lukewarm Already. Barely could we finish the first slice, we decided to ask the server if he could reheat the pizza. It was until 15 mins later, another server returned the pizza looking a bit burnt which we understand but the pizza is still way under the temperature. Can you imagine how disappointed that you ordered a pizza with mozzarella cheese and the cheese is already cold and become so chewy upon the first bite? Cold Pizza on winter night??? Thats how disappointed i was eating this pizza. We also ordered a can of soda which the server forgot to bring until we had finished the whole Pizza. So i asked to cancel the order politely but another server still brought the soda to our empty table after. No sorry, no apologize, no nothing! I guess this is quiet the Brooklyn attitude. I am not sure if the kitchen of this place is super cold during winter or if the server/runner is too busy to run food to tables when pizza is ready so why the pizza is already cold at the table. I guess i should just stick with Roberta’s for good pizza. .\/.

«It feels like Brooklyn in here.» When you enter this dark restaurant, you’re surrounded by string lights and candles. It’s warm, intimate and romantic. And then you’re seated at a wooden bench-like table with folding chairs. It works. It feels appropriate. I came here on a weekday for dinner and didn’t have to wait to be seated. I shared the coppa & carciofi pizza and gnocchi, along with a half liter of house Cab. The pizza and gnocchi were tasty, but had no wow factor. Staff was very friendly, attentive, and service was relatively fast. Warning: cash only

Had such a wonderful dining experience here this past weekend! After a long day of exploring Manhattan, my cousin really wanted to show me her«neighborhood spot» for dinner. Only a 15min walk away from her new apartment in Brooklyn, we got to the restaurant as the dinner rush died down. There was still a wait, since we had a larger party, but there’s a fully stocked bar that acts as a very welcome waiting area for anyone looking to get a few drinks in before a meal(aka me). Saraghina’s atmosphere is comfy, cozy, and chill, with its staff reflecting those same vibes. Also, super helpful since one of our friends forgot her phone when we left the restaurant and our waiter(shoutout to Jeremy) held on to it for her. Not to mention, the food was delicious! A real standout from our dinner was the coppa and carciofi pizza, with the spicy artichokes adding a nice kick to every bite. Just something to keep in mind: it is cash only so make sure you visit the ATM before coming here!

Came to Brooklyn for an event and when in New York is a must to have pizza… Opened up Unilocal and saw that this place was highly recommended by Unilocalers … When inside ordered house salad and a pizza … House salad was OK it was fresh so I guess it was good nothing special… The pizza was bland nothing special about it… I think your local pizzeria has better pizza… It was bland no flavor … No taste stood out … Unilocalers raved about how great this place… I didn’t taste what all the fuss was about. At least not the food, service was great but the pizza not so much. PS. The pizza needs some flavor
