Decent selection of savory and sweet waffles. You can also freestyle and customize your own. They have coffee and a juice bar. Same thing, either select a juice on the menu or create your own. They got all kinds aid fruits and veggies. I got the savory #28 pulled pork, kale chips, red onions, and horseradish yogurt… some good stuff. Will be back for one if the sweet cravings. Thanks for the free coffee at check in.

I heard great things about waffle and wolf. SO when I got the Groupon I was excited. Unfortunately it did not live up to my exceptions. I got the highly recommend pulled pork waffle and it was dry and taste less(waffle and pork). The kale was flavorless. Not too mention the cashier/prep guy was not that engaging. I understand it was a hot sticky day but still. My friend got a sweet waffle and that was great! I would give it another shot but I’ll stick to the sweet(and safe) side.

Salmon, cornbread, goat cheese, buckwheat… tasty, trendy ingredients, no doubt. Theoretically awesome, underwhelming in retrospect. I do think pretentious-stoner-fantasy-snack status is within reach, but flavor balance, temperature, and presentation need some tweaking if Waffle & Wolf want to reach full potential.

This place looks like a little hole in the wall in the middle of graham ave… but when you walk in and rads the menu it surprised me. They have an array if fresh juices with all fresh ingredients and a large menu for either sweet or savory waffles.

Wanted to try this place but had been avoiding because they’re expensive as f – k. Anyway, pineapple — something custom softie and waffle with almonds, strawberries and bananas were excellent. CASHONLY people. Want a fun, easy-going breakfast? Come here. Just realize it’s on the pricey side. Since you’re only getting a waffle and maybe a drink — you are spending more than you would in a restaurant elsewhere, so the price range isn’t accurate. I can get a great breakfast, plenty of places for far less than the $ 20-something dollars I spent here!

tried this place out with a friend who recommended it. I was pleased to see that they had a vegan waffle option! score. the buckwheat waffle was bomb. I got it with peanut butter, strawberries, and bananas, along with an apple, pineapple, and orange smoothie. very tasty and very filling. the two employees(shout out to John and Chris!) were super friendly and helpful. great customer service. will definitely be back to try more combinations.

Service is fast. Really good gluten free chocolate chip cookies. The buckwheat waffle comes out crispy and not soggy unless it’s delivered, then it’s a bit soggy. I like getting the nutella, banana, strawberry combo or the one with honey, apples, and goat cheese but with baked bacon rather than baked walnuts in the waffle. yum.

Upon reading all these other reviews, I’m surprised to see people writing about getting good service here, and disappointed I didn’t have the same experience. To start off, the guy working that day(Friday evening) could not tell me which of the waffle toppings are gluten free. He just parroted back to me what I had already read on the menu — that the cornbread and buckwheat waffles, cookie, and brownie are gluten free and he didn’t know about anything else. In retrospect, I doubt they clean the waffle irons between a regular and a gluten free waffle, so I’ll probably not be going back anyway, unless they get a dedicated gluten free waffle iron and make their staff more knowledgeable about the food they’re preparing/selling. We were friendly and pleasant(easy customers, I promise!), but his general attitude was that of a person who didn’t want to be there(I did notice a ‘Now Hiring’ sign in the window, so maybe this literally was the case.?) He was also very slow and even a bit rude when we were ordering — telling us to hold on and repeat ourselves as he input our orders. My boyfriend’s banana pudding desert came out immediately while we waited probably another 15 minutes for our meal, at which point I received my brownie. So they could work on timing… Also, the seating is weird, the counters are too low for the seats they have, or the seats are too high, however you want to look at it. Ok, that’s a lot of negative points I’ve made, but I do want to say that I loved the food. My waffle was delicious, I went with #28 and prayed the pork and everything in it was GF as per my earlier point. The brownie was also tasty, although more cake-like than brownie-like. Overall, good food, but they need to work on everything else.

Small and clean with a simple and quaint décor. Easy to walk past if you don’t know what to look for. It was early Saturday morning not long after they opened when I groggily stumbled in looking for my latest caffeine fix and something to munch on, so there wasn’t a wait for service. I ordered #29? Smoked salmon on a cornbread waffle and a small coffee. It was absolutely fantastic! Perfection in portable waffle form. All ingredients were wonderfully portioned and paired. The coffee was great as well. It’s a must visit. I’ll definitely be back.

Let’s start off with what I got. I got a regular waffle with strawberries, bananas, whip cream, and … NUTELLA. This was amazing, it was out of this world. And the ingredient that go into the waffle are good amount, the waffle is bursting. The food of the god! It’s really small, I walked right passed it the first time. Waffle & Wolf will be a must anytime I go to NYC.

Came here because I was excited about the idea of a waffle sandwich/wrap, and the photos looked appetizing. Initially saw this business on Time Out, and was looking forward to it during my next stop to Williamsburg. You choose your type of waffle, original, cornbread, buckwheat etc. I ordered #21= bacon w/hard boiled egg, feta, spicy tomato jam, it didn’t come w/a veggie so I added arugula. I initially ordered it w/cornbread, but when it was made the waffle didn’t stay intact, it broke. The employee was really nice and insisted on making a new one, but w/white waffle. It was delicious! Such a great combination of flavors, especially the spicy tomato jam(however wasn’t really spicy, but no big deal). Highly recommend! However my other half ordered #28 which seemed to be the popular choice(pulled pork w/kale chips, yogurt sauce). Unfortunately there was no pulled pork at the time, so shredded chicken was substituted. Turns out it wasn’t a great combination choice, and plus they were pretty much out of the horseradish yogurt sauce, they squeezed to the very end of the bottle where it splatters everywhere, which we were hoping would compensate for the missing pork. Chicken was dry. The kale chips were good, but I feel like fresh kale would’ve made it better. The cornbread waffle didn’t have much flavor, was hoping it would be a tad sweet, but it did have that cornbread texture. I would really like to give this one another try! I redeemed my free cup of organic coffee for checking in. Turns out it was one of those self-serve coffee appliances that they have at a doctor’s office or church. Coffee wasn’t exactly hot, not surprised since it was 5pm in the afternoon, it was probably there since morning. We also ordered fresh juice which was also good. However not sure if it was freshly made-to-order type of juice.

Interesting concept, but definitely didn’t wow me with flavor. First off… the prices are too steep for what you get. I ordered the buckwheat waffle with pork, kale and horseradish sauce. They didn’t load it up enough for the price of $ 11. The flavor tasted very Indian. Not bad, but not what I expected. My guy ordered the pulled chicken with jalapenos, etc. I liked his better and it was fuller, but again, not worth the price. Overall it was OK and I won’t be rushing back here.

Think Waffles and dinges, but not as gung ho on the high-octane, arterial-block-inducing waffle glee, and with the juice to please the healthy folk. I got the waffle with tomato jam and an egg. Dope. Its a bit cramped in there.

I got a Groupon deal which is what brought me in to W&W because who could say no to two waffles and large drinks for $ 18? The food here is good, a bit overpriced to pay full fare, but yummy none the less. Also, the portions are a bit on the small side for the price. I know I’m going to be hungry again in no time. That all aside, I found the seating situation to be rather annoying as well. It was extremely cramped and there was a lot of valuable real estate going to waste in this oh-so-tiny establishment. I did enjoy my food, though sadly, with the small overpriced portions and uncomfortable seating arrangement, I don’t see myself going back.

Pretty creative. On the staff’s recommendation I had a buckwheat waffle #12 which had bacon, some sort of yogurt sauce, arugula and maybe more. I think my biggest complaint was that the waffle was a little soggy instead of having a nice crunch that you’d want out of a wafflewich. I don’t know if it was just mine but i think it would really improve the whole endeavor.

This place is located outside the busier and more populous area of Williamsburg so unless you live in the area, prepare to go a bit out of your way to try this place out. The way to fame for this place is their waffle sandwiches. You get a choice of a cornbread waffle or a buckwheat waffle that is glutton free then choose between a preset combination of ingredients or a combination of your own mad creation. Let me get this out of the way first. After tasting the waffles itself, I think the shape of the waffle is a gimmick. It doesn’t taste like or have the texture of a everyday waffle. No waffles with maple syrups to be found here. The ingredients could be made into a shape of a sandwich bun and it would make no difference. Not that there is anything wrong with the flavors or textures mind you. Spongy soft, I prefer the buckwheat over the cornbread but either one is good. I have tried two preset waffles so far. The pulled pork with kale chips, red onion, topped with a hoarse radish yogurt. I prefer this one. Really tender and flavorful pork. The kale chips are slightly crunchy with a touch of bitterness and the creaminess of the yogurt binds all the flavors well. Jalapenos(baked in), shredded chicken, avocado, lime, topped with salsa. There is no heat of the jalapenos for anyone that would be worried about that. The chicken is as tender as the pork but is more subtle in flavor. The rest of the ingredients is just as subtle so this makes for a more tamer sandwich comparatively. Still good, just less flavorful. I personally think the price of the sandwiches are a bit on the high side, most of the preset ones costing between $ 10 to $ 12. It’s a decent sized sandwich but not huge. We were still a bit hungry afterwards. Drinks wise, the place carries organic teas, organic coffees, fruit juices, and sodas. Good tea. Ordinary sodas. Haven’t tried the juices. The place is small with a t shaped wooden communal table and a few extra seating by the window. The staff is friendly.

Dishes selected: Banana Pudding, Candied Walnuts, Cherries, Dark Chocolate Ganache on a Cornmeal Waffle Brooklyn Roasting Company Coffee(free w/Yelp Checkin) Brought to my attention by the manager at Las Vegas’ Crêpe Shack & Waffles, Waffle & Wolf was on my ‘to do’ list for the New York trip before most of my dining plans were established and with my accommodations in Brooklyn I’m actually glad I waited until late in the trip to make my seminal visit — otherwise it could have been a problem. Featuring locally sourced flours, grains, milk, and butter plus a plethora of toppings made either in-store or nearby the most difficult part of my visit was actually choosing just one, a decision I eventually put in the hands of the clerk and with the cornmeal waffle soft with just enough texture the ingredients each shined, particularly the house-made banana pudding and the poached cherries — definitely a great spot for a snack, and all the more-so for the freely refillable coffee and free wi-fi.

This place has been here for over a year(or so it seems), but despite living only about a block away, I never ordered anything from here. That was, until recently. Came here last weekend with my friend to grab some breakfast before hitting the road. I got the #18, which came with hummus, cucumber, arugula, and olives(which are baked into the waffle). My friend got the #9, which came with feta, avocado, carrots, cucumber, red onion, and lemon juice. She chose to get her waffle to be made with buckwheat batter, while I chose the plain for myself. The verdict? I liked my waffle quite a lot. It was akin to eating a falafel sandwich. The flavor combos went very well together with my waffle, though I wish the waffle was a tad bit crispier/crunchier. I thought my waffle was a little too doughy. My friend also enjoyed her waffle, though she thought the cooks had added a bit too much feta in her’s. Oh, if you check-in here with the Unilocal app, you can get a free coffee, which the 2 of us took advantage of.

I originally saw these guys on Food Networks, Unique Sweets and knew I had to come here ASAP. Waffle & Wolf definitely didn’t disappoint. Essentially all they do is make waffles and turn them into a sandwich/taco filled with anything you can imagine, sometimes it’s right in the batter and sometimes it’s just a filling. If the sheer number of choices is too overwhelming, try picking one of their predetermined combinations(sweet and/or savory). Most of the waffles are going to set you back $ 8 – 9 but you can certainly get something less interesting and plain for about $ 5. I only took a star away as it’s a little pricey for what you get but the quality and service is excellent. It’s a small and simple shop with only a few tables and stools but it wont take you long to devour one of these addictive snacks. I got the #6 which was waffle with bacon baked in and stuffed with bananas, peanut butter, and caramel. It was delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try more flavors.

I CAN’T SAYENOUGHGOODTHINGSABOUTTHESEWAFFLES. This place is a must try!!! I met up with a friend here on a Friday morning. The menu has a few pre-set savory and sweet options for waffles. My friend and I both decided to go «Free-Style» — a waffle with any 3 toppings for $ 10. There is a long list of toppings and quite a variety. I decided to go with nutella, banana, and strawberry. There was no line, but the waffles still took a little while. But it was WELL worth the wait! The waffles are wrapped almost like a burrito. They are very generous with the toppings. The waffles were just the right thickness to balance the amount of toppings. So delicious. I felt like I was in heaven. I never wanted my waffle to end. I can’t recommend this place more!

Modern and clean place with great service. I had a Peanutbutter and Jelly Waffle with banana. It was fantastic. Easily one of the best meals I had on my NYC trip. We were there early on a weekday, so the place was pretty empty and we got our orders in about 5 minutes. Will go there one more time before we leave NYC. I will miss this place!
