Ordered a delivery because it’s close to my place. The delivery took 30min which is fine. The soup is the saltiest one I ever had in my life. I ordered the lunch special for any three rolls for 9.50 $ with two ell avocado and one Alaska. Honestly, the sushi rolls are the worse one that I ever ordered in my neighborhood and it’s not fresh, not even the wasabi on the side… I regretted to give them a try because the one I usually order they changed their Unilocal menu that they’re now don’t offer lunch menu on Unilocal

The pieces of sushi at this place are very big compared to most places on Bensonhurst, which had its pros and con:(pro) you order less to be full //(con) you will not be able to order a lot for their AYCE. Most of the time their service is pretty slow, I remember waiting at least an hour before the actual sushi came when I went for their buffet. Plus, the server(which I think is also the owner) always has a pissed off face. Their sushi doesn’t taste bad, but I’ve had better in the area.

Wasabi ginger soy sauce. What’s more? I used to frequent Wasabi almost on a daily basis when I used to work in the Bensonhurst area. I can only attest to their super affordable lunch specials which got my coworkers raving, and that was the first time I’ve been introduced to sushi that was under $ 6 a roll. Enough with the story of how I finally came out from hiding in a cave, sushi during lunch is super affordable: 6 bucks for 2 rolls, and 10 bucks for 3 rolls. Oh and don’t forget your complementary miso soup or salad. And free delivery? You cant beat paying that for lunch. On days when I don’t feel like being cooped up in the office all day, I would take a stroll there. My coworkers and I have ate here a few times, heck, I even met up with a date here with a guy obviously not worth my time after work. Local family owned business. Generally no complaints, though they do offer sushi buffets now, I really cannot speak to much but a few basic maki rolls from their lunch menu.

The sushi here is mediocre. I ordered the spicy salmon roll, spicy crunch squid roll, and salmon avocado. My friend ordered the spicy crunch salmon, and spicy kani. Any of the rolls with the crunch tasted like stale chips with fish as the tempura flakes were not fresh. As for the sushi itself, there is not much to say besides that the fish used were not fresh. And if you would like to know about the dining experience continue to read on. Avoid dining in at all cost! I decided to give this place another chance since my first mediocre experience dining in AYCE two years ago. I waited roughly for 30 – 45 minutes for the first plate of appetizers. We had to wait roughly about an hour for half of our food to come out. I would of given this place two stars for the freshness of the fish back then. I decided to give this place a second chance and dined in for dinner. The moment I stepped it I wish I did not. Needless to say, not much has changed. The service was still terrible and the quality of the fish went down the drain. The tables were sticky and along the sushi bar was surrounded by line of dirty plates and cups left over from the other diners. The one star is for the rice to fish ratio for the sushi rolls. Lastly, I am not sure if this is a daily thing, but the owners decided it was a good idea to bring their 5 year old child to work. The child was walking around and touching everything piled along the sushi bar from the filthy plates to the napkins given to the customers. What made matters worst was that the kid was sitting in the middle of the restaurant picking his nose and later approached my table and hugged my friend. Yes, maybe it would be cute but not when you are trying to eat your dinner. And the parents were just on their phones.

I went for the AYCE during lunch with my sister. The sushi was pretty good. They have a variety of special rolls, so that’s a plus. I won’t say it’s the best sushi ever, but it is AYCE, so no complains. :) Appetizers were pretty good as well. The crab ravioli is actually wrapped like a wonton and fried it.(I like) However, their kani salad was not good at all! it was all cucumbers and there was barely any kani. So it was pretty much like a cucumber salad. For the price of AYCE, that’s pretty much the quality you get. It’s not amazing but it’s not bad either. I would probably come back if I was starving or friends want to eat AYCE sushi.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars because to me this place deserves more than 4, but it is hard for me to give a 5 since that implies near perfection. Anyways, this is my go to place for sushi buffet in my neighborhood. I am actually surprised that it is not rated higher. So let me first start off with– before I found this spot, my go to used to be Sake sushi for buffets(will be doing a review on them in the future), however I always hated how there is almost always a waiting list to be seated, and it is always super noisy in there. Then I found Wasabi sushi, and they have an almost identical buffet option in terms of menu items and price. I like them better because they don’t have any wait time, it has a much more quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Also, I would rate their sushi better than Sake’s as well. They are much more generous with their portions and they taste just as fresh. Also about half of their appetizers are better than Sake’s. I have brought some of my friends along with me in my last few visits and some agree that Wasabi sushi trumps Sake in many ways. So there you have it! I hope more people find this helpful and try this spot because it really is a good alternative to the other sushi buffet spots near Bensonhurst.

Utter trash. The service is god awful. They forgot about all our orders and it took 2 hours to get only like 5 plates of food. Me and my group of friends waited in total for about a hour 30 minutes not eating food. I recommend going to Toyama at 7th ave. Don’t come here or you will regret it

First time here with my friends. Good food, good environment, and good service. The sashimi is fresh, a good amount of choices. Recommended!

Never again will I eat here! A total dump. Not real Japanese food… it’s all Chinese… yuk! Horrible service and when I just gave a 10% tip(I should of gave zero) I received a very dirty look… dirty like their resturant. The couple sitting several tables away were treated horribly when they ask for more water. PLEASE save your cash and patronize another location.

Came to this place because the restaurant I wished to go is not available. 27th Sunday night, right after 10minutes after I left this restaurant, I am food poisoning !!! And went to emergency room !!! The food that my bf didn’t eat were the salmon and octopus sushi! Definitely will not come again !

My friends and I come here a lot. I usually hold gatherings here when there are a bunch of people. The atmosphere is really nice. I would definitely recommend the bento box for dinner. The portion is huge! I usually share with a friend it since you can pick two different types entrees and comes with soup/salad, California roll, and shumai. The rolls are good too. However, when I order the beef for my bento box, it’s alittle too raw for my taste, therefore if I took it to go, I would go home and cook the beef again. Overall, I come here 3 – 4 times a week!

I usually get the lunch special and carry out. I made the mistake of coming for the dinner AYCE and it was terrible. It took 40 minutes for them to give us 3 teriyaki shrimps and 1 teriyaki salmon. I was trying to give this place a chance since usually their carryout is good. But never come here for AYCE. The service is slow and the masago is extremely salty. I’m really disappointed. Their kani salad is just no. It’s extremely dry and just didn’t taste right. I gave 2 stars because of how nice the manager was when we first complained, then she kept checking up and seeing if we were missing anything.

Honestly, this place is a hit or miss. I normally come here for the sushi lunch roll and carry it out. Once they gave me the wrong roll and the other time gave me another customers order. Decided to give it another try and came back here for AYCE dinner. NEVERCOMEHEREFORDINNER. I repeat. NEVERCOMEHEREFORDINNER. The wait for our food is absurdly long and everything is subpar. I spent more time waiting for my food than actually eating. The waiters don’t know how to do their jobs, and spend more time looking clueless than anything else. Also, they are not attentive to the customers at all. Tried to flag down a waiter multiple times, only to be seen and ignored. Never coming back for dinner again.

For anyone living in Bensonhurst/Dyker Heights, this is a very solid go-to sushi place for eating in as well as for delivery. Delivery is always fast and you can expect fresh sushi at great prices. I’ve since moved from the area, but still drop by now and then to order for pickup.

I have been here a good handful of times just because I was craving for sushi and because it’s the closest sushi restaurant near me. The thing I love most about this place is the sashimi is cut very chunky which I love. It is also pretty fresh and it’s not pricey at all. The all you can eat is also cheap and the rolls are pretty decent. The only thing with this place is that the rolls and sushi are packed with rice. This place isn’t too bad for takeout either. They come pretty on time and it’s cheaper to order directly with them than on those food takeout apps like seamless or deliver.

I would give them no star if I can. Horrible service!!! DONOTCOMETOTHISPLACE. The water took ten minutes to arrive.(The whole restaurant is completely empty!!) After a whole hour of waiting for our AYCE food we only got one plate of appetizer. When we approached the manager he was Really RUDE. Gave us a attitude and slammed the paper on to the table telling us just to rewrite what we order again. I threw away one piece of rice and he was telling us that we had to pay for the left over rice rolls. Like really. One little chunk of rice. I can’t believe this place is still open! Ugh please do not come here and support them. This place needs to close ASAP!

We came on a Saturday with friends for lunch. Orginally we wanted to go to another AYCE buffet because thats our usual spot but our friends booked us to eat here for 2:30PM. We arrived a lil early and first glimpse inside we saw an empty restaurant. My first initial reaction whenever i see this happening is uh… is this place any good? Lunchtime and its empty? Our usual spot is full whenever you go so I tell my husband maybe we should tell them switch places and go to back there instead. I hurried and Unilocaled it and i was not happy with average ratings of two. Husband calls and tell our frds to change and they tell us this place is good and dont worry. We hesisted but decided lets give it a try. We decided go inside and be seated first since it was gloomy and chilly outside. The owner wife who also is the waitress took us to the back and i was getting wary, where she taking us and showed us the private room they have for us which sits comfortably 9 – 11 and plenty of space in back for kids if you happen to bring any likewe did. We opted for dinner menu instead and pay the few bucks for the extra selection they offer.(Lobster roll, soft shell crab roll, salmon tartare are few to mention). Just like any other AYCE you go they limit you on the sashimi, one per person. We all got the sashimi and when the orders came me and my husband was impressed with the size they give. And tasting it was really fresh. Our friends who are frequent customers even agreed it tasted very fresh and was big portions. My husband decided tried the salmon tartare. When it came were like what?! I would not recomend it for small portion offered and stick with sashimi if love sashimi. Our friends ordered a bunch of handrolls and my were they huge. First bite into them and i immediately can taste the fresh fish. We had spicy salmon hand rolls and it was spicy unlike our usual spot.(Most important after we ate the handrolls me and my husband dont have to fight the toilets like our usual spot). Besides the extra dollar being charged for dinner. I dont have much to complain cept for the few dishes we ordered were not brought and owner(husband) decided to give us soft shell crab instead of the lobster roll(dry non saucy one forgot name sorry) i would of given this place a 5. But since those are minor errors, we were so stuffed I don’t think i could eat another bite. They get an overall 4.5 for my first experience because overall food was delicious! Definitely will be back for more. Might become our fave spot if they are consistent with the food like I’ve had every time we come!

I’ve only been here once, so here’s my review on that. AVOID the warm foods section at all costs, except for the salads. They’re precisely reheated freezer-burned packaged foods(calamari, yakitori) etc. And when I mean that frozen chunks of chicken teriyaki is bad… it’s really bad. Literally, the only flavorful thing was the sauce, and even that had a nasty consistency. Otherwise, the sashimi platter was amazing and so were quite a lot of other sushi rolls. My major complaint was that they made things at an extremely slow pace and sometimes forgot a few of our chosen sushi rolls. It was a wednesday night, and it wasn’t crowded but there was only one sushi chef and one staff worker, so it was very understaffed.

Came here for dinner with some friends. Didn’t really have high hopes for an AYCE sushi buffet place because the quality is never really that good. First off you order from this paper where you can put quantities next to the items that you wanted, which similar to the other AYCE sushi buffet places in the brooklyn area. We didn’t really order too many items to start, but it took awhile for stuff to come out. When our stuff did come they were missing 1 or 2 items. That’s not really a big deal since we could just order it again. On the second round they were missing items too and it happen to be the same exact butterfly roll that we wanted. We just kind of got the idea that they were either out of that or they just didn’t want to give us that. The sushi and sashimi was subpar and wasn’t really that fresh. Their appetizer/cooked stuff was a little better. The second round I just skipped their sushi items and ordered their chicken and salmon teriyaki which was surprisingly pretty good. Overall, their service was horrible and slow. Sushi and sashimi are not that fresh. Probably can pass on this place because there are so many of these AYCE sushi places in the brooklyn area that are better.
