Delicious bakery! Everything from their breads to their cakes are phenomenal. They sell okay coffee too, and for the summer, sell ice coffee. The ice coffee setup is slightly strange, with a bowl of ice sitting over a strainer near the self-service station. Probably not the most hygienic setup. Service here is always a bit slow, which can be frustrating. The selection here isn’t as great as in their Boro Park location, or in other local bakeries.

The older fellow with the glasses is very nice and the patties are delicious. There is an attractive, dark haired woman who changed the prices on me and seemed bothered by my presence, I assumed the worst but I hope it’s not being one of the very few brown people in the neighborhood. I saw that she had a problem serving me and decided to leave but that’s just one unpleasant interaction out of 20.

Rugelach: Prefer the dairy ones, parve(yeasted too) are too soft and fluffy for my tastes, not enough filling. Cheese filled pastry: Soft and half price at the end of the day, my favorite. Chocolate babka: Dense, chewy, a little spicy, very good. Rainbow cookies: Dry and disappointing. Stick to the eastern european stuff I guess.

This bakery is so out of my area, and I am glad it is, or I would shop there everyday. The pastries are deliciously cooked, very soft and gentle. They have to use different ingredients. because the dough and sweets are really nice, sugar on the right tone, and is Kosher. The coffee, not good, I went for what it’s supposed to be French Vanilla and it was not, It just tasted like regular wood chips coffee. Service is very friendly.

This place is great. Fast and friendly service, delicious bread, cakes, cookies, danish and most importantly, I go here almost every morning for their great coffee.
