Wendy’s Bar

I just walked by and the door was open — a construction crew was gutting the place — even the bar itself.
Something tells me that Wendy wasn’t redecorating.
R.I.P. Wendy’s. You were as Greenpoint as it got and I’ll always remember you for the hostile vibe you gave me back in the late ‘90s (pre-Enid’s/Pencil Factory… even Splendid!) back when you were the only game in town.

A great spot if you want cheap drinks and beers (Lots of Polish beers). I like that they have a pool table.

Everyone has walked by it, some have looked in, even fewer have put their hand on the door handle, but even LESS have stepped into its hallowed halls– Yes, Wendy– I went inside of you.
You were warm inside, with flesh tone walls and a pool table– yea she was pretty spacious.
PH ratio 15:0, but I actually got a usmiech from the Tatry Princess serving me serving me a Budweiser with a June 2009 born on date…

bathroom, bathroom, litte door that people keep coming in and out of just to pass trough to the front door, pool table with unfinished game, SuperManny on the tv on Mute, bar with 5 Poles, door, Jukebox playing suprisingly tastefull Polish Pop music suprisingly unrecognized by Shazam.
This is the friendly Polish Pub, more like a Social club, less like Stones on Manhattan.
