Came here Easter 2014 with friends from Ireland and oz on holidays. Randomly came across this place looking for a nice sit down meal. Location, set up and food were all amazing. Very affordable too. Finally found it again after hunting all over Williamsburg and chuffed with the service already.

What a perfect gem! Fabulous restaurant. Fabulous food. Great staff and manager. Would absolutely make the trip from NJ to go there’re again and again. While it specializes in gluten free and vegetarian there were many near and fish options. The garden us beautiful. Maybe I shouldn’t say so many positive things! It may get too crowded. Extra thanks to Moma who made our meal even more special.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Came here for the weekend brunch, ordered 3 things, the waitress came back and forgot two of them. We waited 20 minutes for our brunch drinks to come. Our bloody Mary’s came in a wine glass with a really long straw and a sad piece of celery. It was super awkward to drink. And the drinks were so bad. Super spicy and doesn’t taste like there’s much alcohol. After a while, the waitress came by and said the order didn’t go through so they were just now making our food — we had been sitting there for 45 minutes already. Our food finally came and it was so bad, like unbelievably bad. The pizza had no flavor. I sprinkled tons of salt on it but it still felt like I was eating pieces of cardboard. The only ok things were they ones they didn’t actually made, like the smoked salmon in the egg Benedict, the prosciutto on the pizza, the Tabasco sauce… It was sad and pricey. If you want to feel sad, feel free to go there. It works.

Zero stars if I could. We just left and it was one of the worst experiences ever — enough to write a review, which I rarely do! We entered an empty restaurant and were told there was only one table available — weird, but ok. We sat there for 15 minutes with nobody coming by so we went to the front and got our own menus. Eventually the waitress came over and took our order and recited it back to us incorrectly so we tried a few more times until she got it. Of our order the drinks never came, my food had brillo scrubbing pieces in it and was very unappetizing. I feel sick just thinking about it. When we told them we didn’t get our drinks they said — «Ok, what do you want?» so we gave up and kept the water, which by the way didn’t end up coming either. Instead of an apology about the metal in my meal, the waitress told us that she too had brillo in her meal the day before and I could have a complimentary meal to-go. No thanks! We had to ask to have my meal taken off and they came back with the incorrect check twice. It was absolutely horrible and a waste of money. Please don’t visit this establishment.

I recently had a pretty uncool experience here. It was a weeknight and literally the first warm day NYC has seen in a long time. I had just left a bar around the corner and was hungry for something before heading home. When I typed in «VEGAN,» this was the first place that was still open that popped up. It was a little over an hour till closing when I walked in. The bartender was the sweetest girl and pretty helpful when I asked her for vegan options. I should have taken the hint and walked out when I found my options were super limited but I felt bad for her trouble and ended up ordering the margherita pizza without the cheese. I sat waiting and asked for a glass of water when it wasn’t given to me. I sat myself down by the window and waited. 15 minutes later, bartender brought over my check and told me the pizza was going to be about 5 minutes. I thought it was a little odd that they would bring me the check before I finished eating but I paid and tipped her almost 30% as it really wasn’t all that much. I visited the bathroom for a moment and on my way ran into another staff to whom I inquired about the vegan cheese I had just read about on a review. He said sometimes they had it and found that that night, they didn’t, which is totally fine. At 20+ mins, the bartender brought out a pizza box and that’s where I figured they were past closing hours— but no. They weren’t. They still had 40 minutes to go. She had assumed I was taking out, which I suppose is an honest mistake. But when I opened the box, the flatbread was a tiny piece of dried up thing. It was super duper crunchy, wasn’t even warm and the thing tasted literally of cardboard, garlic, and hot crushed peppers. It was without a doubt, the worst thing I had ever tasted. I wanted to return it but I am never that person, and didn’t want to be… So I ate the whole thing, thanked the bartender, and left. I very much doubt I will ever return. The two stars are for the friendliness of the staff and the great ambience/décor.

Bad service bad food no redeeming qualities! There’s a reason it’s the only place with an open seat at 1:00 for Sunday brunch! You will be disappointed

Unlike most of reviews, we had great experience at Wild. We came in early Sunday evening. There was private wedding party going on the back so we sat in front but was no problem. Servers were all attentive and we didn’t wait long for anything. Maybe because it was early and not busy at all? But everything was very smooth. We ordered beets salad, mozzarella pizza and salmon in menu and one more salmon from special, and chicken parmesan. Salad and pizza were just ok. But both salmons were really nicely done. Crunchy outside and soft and juicy inside. Well cooked. Sauce were also good. Chicken was also very good and my kids really enjoyed it and finished whole thing. Tomato pasta and mashed potato which came along with entrée happened to be very good as well and we finished all dishes as well as deserts. Tiramisu was outstanding! I’m a tiramisu lover and have had several from other places but the tiramisu here is one of the best! All in all we left super full and happy, no complaints. Next time it would be nice to sit on the back. Would definitely come back again.

We did a pizza class with Johnny, the chef and it was incredible! The appetizers, the drinks and the dessert was incredible! And obviously our pizzas were amazing. This chef is straight out of Naples, Italy so he knows what he’s doing. This was the coolest experience we’ve ever had and it was an extremely affordable class. Thank you chef for such a fun day! We will see you for the Fourth of July! :)

The worst food ever. Had no flavor just bland food terrible. Don’t waste your money here, especially because it’s not affordable. I get the idea but seriously the attempt is poor. Oh and the service… Good luck getting a server to get you a menu, drink, or even take your order, God forbid.

This place is lovely inside and I think sitting in the back garden area would be really nice in warmer weather. Food has been hit or miss. Flatbreads and garlic bread were only ok. My friend ordered gnocchi once and they were way too mushy. The ravioli with sage and the bolognese are really good, though.

Great gluten free options! This restuarant is very cozy and charming. All their pizzas are gluten free yet not lacking flavor. We ordered the spicy prosciutto and the wild mushroom pizzas. The mushroom pizza came with arugula and ricotta cheese with fresh parmesan. Very tasty. The prosciutto was a little too thick and tuff to chew, but did have a lot of flavor. The pizzas come in two different sizes which was nice. They also had a nice choice of pastas and some gluten free ones as well. The service was very good and we would definitely recommend or return.

Ici, c’est le paradis du monde sans gluten, avec un menu original. Une magnifique serre à l’arrière du restaurant permet de profiter du soleil, et de l’ambiance cool. Un petit check-in, commandez votre mimosa gratuit et profitez!

Too many relatively innocuous foibles added up to a pretty unpleasant dining experience. The litany: five of us wait 30 minutes with only one menu w/o wine list before being able to place a drink order; we order a bottle of wine and they don’t have enough glasses to serve the four drinkers(one person waited until they ran the dish washer); at least 30 minutes after ordering food they return to tell me they’ve run out of what I had asked for; that meal then came out late; the food was subpar considering the price. The check situation was itself a grim comedy of errors with an erroneous charge on the bill and then, after it was corrected, an overcharge on two of our cards. Watching and waiting for them to resolve the issue made us feel witness to the cracking of the german enigma machine. A pattern emerges if you read some of the other reviews — their being overstaffed doesn’t seem to be an isolated issue. It’s not without some trepidation that I write a negative review. The staff was friendly, the space was nice, and the food wasn’t all that bad. Alone, each one of the problems we had wouldn’t have been noteworthy, but put together they created a frustrating experience.

Nice decorations and nice outdoor seating. On weekdays it seems to be pretty empty. DON’T come here if you are in a rush. It’s great if you have a lot of time to kill. You can relax in the uncrowded outdoor space(like the couple next to me did) I ended up waiting 40 min for my food to come. I understand if the restaurant is very busy BUT I was 1 customer out of 2 total! There was a total of 5 when I first got there and they quickly left so the place was not busy. They said they ran out of ingredients so they had to get fresh ingredients. I highly doubt they are picking the vegetables for the freshness. They should let the customer know if it is going to take extra time, etc. Probably just forgot to put in my order or something. Food was okay.

Stopped in to kill time late afternoon one day. Really cute joint. Nice guys. Got a proscuitto parma bruschetta. It was pretty outrageous. Comes on one big, deep piece of freshly baked bread. Cheap — $ 5.

Larger portions than we anticipated, which was cool. Still a bit on the pricey side, though. Pretty quiet around 6:45 on a Thursday. The beet salad was nice, though the dressing was less than appetizing presentation-wise, and the shared portion of the pizza is generous(they basically split it into two individual pizzas). We had the mushroom truffle pizza with chicken, which was, as amazing as it sounds, unfortunately underwhelming. Not a whole lot going on in the flavor department. Service was icy and warmed up as time went on, but generally the atmosphere was a bit cold. Oh, Williamsburg! The end.

We were walking around the neighborhood looking for a place to satisfy a vegetarian and a diet. This place looked interesting so we gave it a try and we’re happy we did! I was surprised by some of the reviews(which I didn’t read until after we ate). The burrata was fantastic! We had the quinoa salad and the avocado salad with chicken and sautéed mushrooms and broccoli. No complaints about the food at all. Yummy! The bartender doubled as our server but that didn’t cause any issues. She was attentive and food was served quickly. She even adjusted the lighting when someone lowered it to nightclub level(made me feel they were worried about what we would see on our plates!). My only complaint is the flatware they use. It is the very light, flimsy type you get in a diner. Not what I expect from a nice restaurant.(I also don’t like being charged for a tea refill, especially when it is $ 3 a glass). That notwithstanding, I would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

There are too many restaurants that are claiming their healthy & delicious in one breath; I honestly think is a bold statement, but ‘Wild Brooklyn’ not budging from that title. Okay, should I challenge them? Why not! I have decided to give this spot a chance, because the host swear that I will think differently on foods I normally eat. Now you going to tell me that you can beat my chef in a can, huh!!! Let’s get busy. So I had to roll up my sleeves, because I am about to order my meal and test this establishment like I’m a judge in a contest. I am glad that I took on the challenge, where my first bite of my pasta was breathtaking. Can you say gluten free? Yes, they made me a believer. Thanks!

Really bad. There was enough pasta sauce on the plate for four servings of pasta! Swimming ! And the pasta was so overcooked, I had to throw it out.

A GOOD three stars. Nice brunch, nice staff, nice atmosphere. — slow service(perhaps understaffed when we where there) — 16 dollars for one choice of brunch, which is too much. — watery coffee, had to top up with a double espresso. Other than that I actually do recommend the place. The atmosphere alone is worth 3 dollars.

I am writing this review because they sold me on the zucchini pasta. I am in love. The pasta eats like actual pasta. It doesn’t matter which sauce… either white wine or marinara. I could eat this every day.

Came here a few weeks ago for brunch. Not a bad deal for brunch, comes with a free drink. Nice sangria. Location: super cute spot, Awesome back patio. Cute decorations. Food: they boost for gluten free… umm yeah. Gluten free pizza… I’m not sure if its supposed to taste like cardboard or if thats a bonus. The toppings were awesome but the bread itself was gross. Service: It was our servers first day, so it was ok that she didn’t know anything about the menu??? That said she left for long periods at a time. I thought she went home. We had to get up to ask for more drinks and our check. In a city with so many restaurants, I’m not sure I would ever waste my time trying this spot again. Maybe for a drink on the patio. It needs major work.
