This place is now closed. Don’t bother driving here, there is no buffet to be had despite a live website.

So I went with my family to celebrate my brother in laws birthday Sunday afternoon. It was big and clean and not busy at all. It wasn’t dirty at all like I read in other reviews. The food line was also clean and all the food looked fresh and tasted fresh, at least all the food that I tried. I tried some of their sushi and it was meh, small portions. I didn’t try any other seafood, but other people in our party did and they seemed to like it. So all and all the food was good but nothing special. This place like most buffet’s are what they are I never expect too much. Which makes me wonder why some people get so worked up when they get just«ok» food… It is what it is. The service ok too, again nothing special. Oh and I only paid $ 14 with tip not bad. So if you like the average buffet then you will like this place.

As much as I would like to support a Chinese business person, I am obligated as a frequent Unilocal users(who benefited from reading other reviews) to let you know to stay away from this joint. Your money will be better spend at other establishments. The food is really sub-par, service is average at best. The room near the windows offers decent environment, but I actually spit out the shrimp and a couple other items. Unless they make a dramatic improvement in the near future, by the traffic I saw this past sat, they either will have a new owner or be gone pretty soon…

I’m giving this place 3 stars because of the variety and overall selection. They have Mongolian BBQ, sushi, Chinese, a dessert/fruit bar and a huge fried section. In other words, anyone can find something. They have a lot of seafood, but it’s not top shelf stuff. The skinniest crab legs you’ve ever seen, tiny clams, and a variety of fish. I’m a fan of seafood, but other than sushi, nothing here gets me too excited. The service is efficient, but without personality and in some cases English. The staff is really only serving drinks, so any questions are usually directed to one or two of the more seasoned folks. While the food is decent, the rest of the place is a little sloppy when it comes to cleanliness. It has a dirty feel — the tables, carpet and blinds could use a more frequent and thorough cleaning. I guess the best I can say is that it’s surface clean. I haven’t been to lunch in a while, but I recall it was well priced — $ 7-$ 8. Dinner is the same food, but prices are a bit higher. I would go for lunch for the price.

1 adult, 2 kids, $ 44. This is probably the worst place I’ve EVER eat’n! BARNONE! This shit hole stunk of rotting fish! I would NOT allow my kids to take anything off the buffet until I completely checked it out. Floors and tables were filthy. My fucking spoon had lick marks on it! I can’t say enough bad about this place, from the service to the food. It actually ranks below Golden Coral!

Seriously… at first it all looked so good but in reality everything other than the sushi was basically fried or totally oily. Save yourself and go next door to Phở

Me and some friends from school went there, and it was so good i had to take my best friend. I love this buffet and the sushi and the little mongolian grill. Fried Bananas are awesome. And there is a International Market right thru the other door. Never did the weigh food to go option. But ive ate more than my share of food. Its always fresh and good. As with all Chinese Buffets i wish the dessert section was bigger but they always have my favorites. And my soda or tea never gets on the low side of the levy. Get Hot tea on cold Colorado days its great.

Should have read Jamie L’s review before I went. I was there at 11:30 right before the lunch crowd. Many dishes were not warmed adequately and the booth I was in(near the window) had stained blinds on it. The staff was friendly but the food holding temperatures were not correct. Based on this, I was leery of trying the sushi and passed. Not the cheapest at $ 9.57 for lunch. Occasionally one of those many papers you receive in the mail and trash will run a coupon. I had to laugh at one of the latest ones which proudly advertises $ 1 soft drinks during happy hours. You think, wow that’s a good deal. Well, no. The regular price of soft drinks is $ 1.09 so you are saving a whopping 9¢. It seems to be hard to find truly decent Chinese food or buffets in Broomfield. The best place I have been to so far has been inside a dying strip mall in Lafayette. This is a solid 2 for me. I have experienced better. Perhaps going during a busier period would help. Not even the friendliness of the staff can save food served at the wrong temperature.

When this place first opened, it was O SOGOOD but as time passed the quality of the food has gone down. The former favorites for me: decent sushi, steamed fish, spicy pork, and the sauteed crab. Again, the quality has gone down recently so I won’t be going back anymore.

I really wanted to like this place, but I just couldn’t… first off… if you go mid-week, the food is just gross. I think they keep the same food from the day before, it certainly tastes that way… the vegetables looked dried out and the variety wasn’t there. We just moved to CO and after being spoiled, living in a different state that has all kinds of crazy, delicious asian eats… I am having some difficulties adjusting to Denver area asian food :( The food here is sub-par. If it’s not dried out, it was cold. We got the bill after 15 minutes of sitting down… we hadn’t even finished our salads. It was just weird. There was 2 other people in the restaurant… and 2 wait staff looking at our every move… It was weird and awkward. not comfortable at all. None of the food seemed particularly asian to me. So disappointed. ;(

After our visit to Pacific Ocean, my mom and I headed next door for some food at International Buffet. We were lured in by the«to-go by weight» deal posted on the door(as it’s rare we’d get a good«value» out of an buffet at lunchtime). I believe it’s $ 3.99/lb or $ 5.99/lb if you get seafood. We were given styrofoam containers and went at it. The buffet is pretty expansive and has some interesting offers. I mainly stuck with stuff I know: veggie lo mein, green beans, and tofu. They have a sushi section where I played it safe and grabbed a piece of inari(raw fish and buffets seem… wrong). They also had some tasty little cream puffs in the dessert section. Since we didn’t get any seafood, our two meals weighed in at $ 5.75…combined! We took or lunches back over to POM and found a table there. While the food wasn’t amazing, it was cheap and hit the spot… plus we got little desserts thrown in. I would definitely recommend this place for take-out versus the all-you-can-eat buffet. I think the buffet was something like $ 18 since it was the eve of the Chinese new year, so the food by the weight was an awesome deal!

For a buffet, it’s good. They’re right next to Pacific Ocean Marketplace, so it follows that a lot of their supplies come from there… at least it’s close. Their Buffet offerings run the gamut from decent to good. On the weekends, there are unique offerings like Frog’s Legs and Tripe. They offer fresh raw oysters(They’re swimming right next door), crab legs, and various fish and shellfish options. There are steam dumpling trays, stir frys like Beef and Broccoli, Mushrooms and Zucchini. The Mongolian BBQ area allows you to create your own stir-fry with noodles, sauces, meats, and veggies. The sushi is better than the average Buffet Sushi, but not up to par of a Sushi Bar. It’s a good go-to spot when you can’t make up your mind what you want to eat. The selection is varied and the service is fine. I do agree that in slow times, there are too many empty /nearly empty /old dishes on the table. So go when it’s busy.

Good selections of food. I had dinner there with friends, six of us. Good size dinning area which allows easy moving around. Go during the middle of dinner. I would not go at a start of dinner(4pm) or end of dinner(9pm). Selection would be extremely limited and you will feel cheated. They replenish the food slowly and a little at a time. So, take your time, pace yourself and you will have a good meal. I gave it three stars due how slow they bring out food to replace empty trays and the services. Drinks do not come with meal. I would only recommend this place to a group dinner where you can spend two to three hours, talking and eating slowly.

All right, I gotta give this place FOURFREAKIN’ STARS. Not because it’s got beautiful décor, and excellent(for a buffet) service, but because, FOR A BUFFET, it’s GODDAMNGREAT. Look, I hafta confess, I’m a buffet freak. I’m on an eternal quest to find the best buffet in the universe. I know there’s no such thing, but, like UFO hunters and big-foot enthusiasts, it doesn’t keep me from trying. We found this place through, where else, Unilocal. My wife and I had a craving for Mongolian BBQ, and this place came up on the search. We remembered it from previous drive-bys, and, as it was about ten minutes away from her work, decided to give it a shot. As mentioned, beautifully decorated and CLEAN place. Lots of fresh, hot food, replenished often. My only complaint about the Mongolian BBQ was that they could’ve done with a few more vegetable offerings, notably sliced jalapenos. But the Mongol Q chef turned out a snappy, hot plate of food, and the other things we tried were better than decent, like the dumplings/shumai/dimsum/egg foo yung, etc. I didn’t even try everything I would’ve liked to, ‘cuz I was stuffed to the eyeballs with Mongol Q. But I noticed that besides the standard Chinese offerings, there was also a great deal of seafood, sushi, and more traditional fare, like seaweed salad, and whole shrimp sauteed with veggies, and whole roasted fish, giant ribs, etc., as well as the standard salad bar/dessert/soup/appetizer thang. Look, maybe I’m burnt out on the standard Chinese buffet, so this place looked better to me than it really is, but, goddamnit, with the exception of a buffet I tried in Dallas recently, this place blows away anything I’ve had in the 11 Western states. It isn’t often I feel like going back so I can try the stuff I missed. I can’t wait to get back to this place.

Decent price, very good selection. The buffet is always hot and well-maintained, though it does seem that on some days the selection is better than others. As others have mentioned, in addition to standard buffet fare, there is also excellent mongolian barbeque, and several sushi offerings. The sushi isn’t that great, but it isn’t gross. A step up from grocery-store sushi, but I would suggest going to a real sushi restaurant if you’re really after sushi. They have several seafood selections at all times, including stuffed crabs, several delicious shrimp dishes, and fish of the day. Normally, I avoid seafood at a buffet place, but international buffet hasn’t disappointed. There’s usually a small selection of dim-sum type items, such as shu-mai, potstickers, and sweet-bean buns. One of my favorite aspects of this place is that you can, for a very reasonable price, get take-out, by the pound. If you like buffet, this is a good choice. The best value is during lunchtime.

My wife is a fan of Sushi and any place with all you can eat Sushi is 5 stars to her :) I really like the Mongolian BBQ space and it’s what I’ll hit every time. There are sufficient fresh ingredients and meats to satisfy my craving and the rice is exactly as it should be; sticky and easy to pick up with chopsticks. They make this gigantic apple pie loaf thing which isn’t too bad; a bit high on the sugar content. If they’d add a bit more cinnamon, it’d really be pretty good. A little squirt of soft-serve ice cream and it’s pretty good. I do try the other stuff from time to time. The mini-octopus’ were chewy and lacking in flavor. Not being a mini-octopus connoisseur, it’s hard to be too picky about it though :) The wait staff is friendly and occasionally one or two will speak English(generally not a problem though :)).

Not a bad place for lunch, especially with a group. The buffet is always stocked and the food is hot. They also have a mongolian bbq style section as well if you’re not into sneeze guards and such. There’s a decent sushi section and enough dessert to really top off your gorge-fest. The service has always been great. Afterwards you can check out the Asian market next door. Believe me, it’s a learning experience.

Yesterday I went to IB again for lunch. Same nice clean place. Same hardworking staff. But I’ve changed my rating and here’s why: fake crabmeat. I don’t care what the justification is, and most places that have that hideous pink and white fake crabmeat have their various justifications, sushi, and for that matter all asian food is best with real crabmeat. Still a decent place, and a good deal at lunch. I still want to take my New York friend here. But I am so very turned off by fake crab meat. Not sure why I didn’t notice it the first time I was here.

OK, hubby wanted to give I.B. a second chance so in the interest of peace on the home-front, I agreed. The food, while still sub-par, was not as bad as the first time we ate there. The organization of the buffet line continues to be crazy. The fried food is good. The sushi is ok and there is an abundance of seafood entrees if that is your thing. One downer, they no longer have the twist soft serve ice bream labeled ‘both’ which made me giggle on the first visit.

There are times for fine dining, and there are times for fast food… and yes, of course, there are times for FEASTING and that’s when you hit the buffets. Alot can be learned from the Todai’s and Minado’s of this world, and while the asian buffet scene in Denver(and surrounding areas) is in its infancy, that’s actually a GOOD thing. Nowhere in California can you get a decent pan-asian buffet including ample amounts of seafood(including oysters, clams, salt & pepper crab), mongolian bbq, sushi, and huge beef ribs for just $ 12.99 on weekends, $ 11.99 for dinner on M-Th. The food is actually quite decent, not even factoring in the super-deal you’re getting, the restaurant is clean and spacious… what more can you expect?
