Food and service are mediocre, prices were higher than they should be, the seating is small and tight. Atmosphere is average.

I have not been here in over a year. They had no kids meal. Prices seemed higher than what I remembered. Service was good. My husband had a spicy tuna roll and it was bland with too much rice. He had the dynamite roll. It was good but really small. My rolls had more than normal spring leafs, shrimp was rubbery and both were small. Not sure we will be back.

Tegry sushi never fails me… never. At a recent visit I shared my usual rolls with a girlfriend. We had the Medlin. This roll is has jalapeño and cilantro. A bit of spice that compliments the fresh fish. Also the Rockstar, the crunch roll and the philly. The crunch was the standout… oh sweet fried deliciousness. The service here is always attentive(maybe to a fault) and they always seem to sit customers in a clump together vs spread over the smallish space. The saki menu is good and the wine menu could use a bit of freshening up… just don’t get rid of the Russian Valley Pinot! Yum.

I came in with high expectations to get delicious sushi, an order I usually get from my hometown sushi restaurant. May I say my excitement was quickly shut down when it took forever for us to get our meal. When i finally did receive my food it was as cold as the ice in my freezer. Not only did the service suck so did the food.

I have eaten a LOT of sushi in my lifetime. This place is fantastic. Love it the same every visit. I always order 1 fried roll and 1 fresh to share with a friend. Las Vegas roll is the best! Always order 3-way sauce for the side.

The sushi here is quite good. Much better than you would expect to find in Brownsburg. The fish is fresh and the rolls we’ve tried have always been well prepared and flavorful. I especially like the Rock n Roll. However, as others have stated, the service here is atrocious. My wife and I have been here three times and it’s been the same story each time. No friendly greeting when you walk in. There is no host or hostess, so you’re seated by one of the servers when they get a chance to get to you. You typically wait longer than you should even when there are empty tables in the restaurant. They have no bussers that we could see and it seems like the job of bussing tables is up to the servers. The last time we were there, we ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner and our server just dropped off the bottle and a couple of glasses. I don’t require the whole wine service routine or anything(though it would be nice), but at least open the bottle and pour the first glass for us. After dinner, we ordered dessert and coffee. The server told us they didn’t have coffee. Seems odd to me that you’d have a dessert menu but no coffee. Also, the lava cake was obviously microwaved. It came out entirely too hot and a little tough in places, as if it had been microwaved a little too long. I give this place 4 stars for the sushi and zero stars for the service and dessert situation.

Ate there the other night and was really impressed! decently priced sushi and other entrée options. Really quiet environment which was nice. Green tea was really fresh and the sushi was well-prepared and came out in a reasonable amount of time. My boyfriend had the chicken soba and even though he’s reluctant to try different types of food, he loved it! good portion sizes and diverse menu. Super happy to find this place.

I’ve had better sushi at a Chinese buffet. Ordered four rolls and only the California roll was acceptable. The quality of the rainbow roll fish was questionable at best, very chewy and stringy salmon. The tuna atop the asparagus tuna roll was less than desirable and looked like some sort of jelly candy. Also had a house salad that was ok but had additional flavors that were meh and unlike any traditional ginger salad I’ve had at many sushi restaurants across the country.

I had a quite pleasant first lunch at Tegry’s today. The service was excellent!!! Very fast and friendly! And the Sushi was, while maybe not the best I’ve ever eaten, really good. Prices were ok and comparable to other Sushi places around the Indy area. All in all a great visit. We’ll be back. :)

Like other reviewers it took 30 minutes for us to get our food. It was noon and no one else was in the entire place. The place smelled of fish and dirty carpet. We had not eaten here for about 5 years. Boy has this place slipped. Food was bad and the cloth napkins smelled like mold. Time to clean up or close

The best sushi in Indy. I love their Ali roll(its deep fried!!) and their Mexico roll. The service can be slow, I won’t argue with you there, but the food is AWESOME!

Being in Brownsburg as a whole isn’t really my idea of a good time BUT sometimes it can’t be avoided. So when I am visiting the“burg” I am usually looking for a good place to eat. I found this fine establishment on Unilocal(of course). After reading the reviews I quickly decided that this place may be better suited for take out considering all the complaints about the service. So that is exactly what we did. I ordered 2 sushi rolls and an order of fried rice. Everything was very good and I felt the price was fair. Tegry Bistro def makes visting B-Burg a bit more bearable.

Walked in the door and waited almost 10 minutes to be seated. Server got my drink order right away and food order promptly as well. I ordered 3 rolls and an appetizer of chicken fried rice. My rice came out in about ten minutes and my rolls took almost 30 minutes. Longer than I expected. It was so cold in the restaurant I was extremely uncomfortable. But the sushi was great and the chicken fried rice is a MUSTHAVE! It was absolutely wonderful!

Good food, clean restaurant. Service was ok, but it was at a slow time, so I can’t comment on others reference to slow service. I will stop by again if in town.

I have been coming here since it opened a long time ago. My family became friends with the owners and they’re the reason I came to love sushi! It’s an awesome place with fresh sushi, can’t go wrong with anything. To name a few great rolls– Ali, Las Vegas, and crunch spicy tuna! Make sure you try their chicken fried rice, it’s cheap and very filling! This is my go to place when I’m craving my favorite food.

Dragon Roll and Spicy Mexican Rolls are the best. Service could use a little polishing.

I have lived in brownsburg for 4 months now and never knew this was here… I’m super excited that I have found Tegry Bistro. Our food looked good, tasted great and price was perfect. I’m in love and will be back very often.

The food here is great, but their service is painfully slow. It took 15 minutes after seating to get a drink and I had to take my sushi order directly to the sushi bar because we saw our waitress only twice during our 2 hour experience. It took over and hour just to receive five rolls.

The sushi is worth more than one star, for sure, although a smidge on the pricey side for Indy. The service, however, was AWFUL. We’ve been to this location three times(and the one in Traders Point once) and only one time did we wait less than 45 minutes for our food. Every visit was on a Friday around 7PM, so I get that they’re packed, but a restaurant should know how to handle the dinner rush. Two weeks ago we ordered nine rolls and they were ready shortly after we finished our appetizers. Last night we waited ANHOUR for five rolls. Other tables were also waiting, and my husband heard them offered complimentary miso soup(which we never saw materialize), but our waitress just refilled our water a couple times. She told us twice that our order would be ready soon, and that they were very busy, and then disappeared. We arrived hungry and waited over 20 minutes for a table in a strip mall with plenty of other options(but we wanted sushi). We ordered the first time the waitress came to the table. And then we sat in our both, HUNGRY, no appetizers, no real explanation, for an hour. We would’ve ordered more than 5 rolls if we knew we would be waiting until 8:30PM to eat dinner. Here are the reasons I didn’t say anything: The waitress was meek and I didn’t want to yell at her; the delay wasn’t her fault. I was so hangry that I didn’t trust myself to be calm. I couldn’t tell who was in charge(to talk to) and I didn’t get the impression s/he would much care about our situation – the whole place was the same way and this experience was representative of our visits there. We will NEVER return to Tegry Bistro. There are plenty of other sushi places in Indy to choose from.
