Got a gift certificate for a mini escape. Very impressive by Jessica who offered a wonderful and relaxing massage. The environment there is overall welcome. However, I do feel a little difficulty using the gift certificate, especially when giving the tips to three individuals…

I absolutely love coming here to get a massage. I’ve tried two different therapists and both were amazing. They listened to what I needed and I never felt afraid to speak up. The rooms smell divine and honestly, I’ve drifted off to sleep while getting my massage. It’s just that amazing.
The staff is so sweet and take care of your needs. I love that they always have fresh fruit water and chocolate truffles at the front while you wait. Also, they have a mini-​boutique with gorgeous dresses and great home goods. Perfect to find gifts for a special girl in your life.
Additionally, I had a manicure and pedicure there and they were the best I’ve ever had. Each took an hour long and they massage your legs and your arms. It was literally so amazing. I love that the room they use for mani/​pedis is small and isn’t jam packed with wall to wall massage chairs for pedicures. It makes the experience ten times better when you can relax and know they aren’t rushing for their next appointment. I get pedicures once a month and I definitely will be going back!

I got my eyebrows done here by Judy for $ 16, which is on the $$-side, imo. The waxing itself was an interesting experience.
To start, she asked me how I would like them done, which is somewhat rare and I really appreciate it. I told her to keep their natural shape, and then she got started. The wax they use is a hard wax without strips, which I generally prefer because in my experience, it lasts longer. She took her time and gave me a very painless waxing experience. After the waxing, she rubbed a cold balm (ball? I couldn’t hear well) on the waxed area to reduce the pain.
After she finished, I checked and realized that she didn’t wax the top of my eyebrows at all! To be honest, the top of my eyebrows were a mess, so I was honestly shocked that she didn’t do anything there. I asked her and she politely obliged and was totally understanding and nice about it, but after she finished I wasn’t in love with the shape (unclean brow line, kind of uneven).
To be honest, I wouldn’t come back here just because I don’t trust her styling (since she thought messy top-​eyebrows were what I wanted when I said to keep the natural shape). The experience was very professional and painless, but I’ll keep looking around College Station for an esthetician that I know will give me perfect brows.
As far as the boutique goes, it’s super cute and a little bit pricey. There’s a lot of teas, candles, scents, and balms around which are great for gift-​giving.

I am not sure what planet Shannon is from. It certainly isn’t earth, because I think it is impossible for such a tiny woman to have such immense strength in her arms and hands. Just had a deep tissue massage from her and now I’m all wobbly. I have a chronic chest condition which is made worse by stress. It leaves me unable to breathe without pain, and paired with back pain from my bra-​size just leaves me miserable and feeling like I am being stabbed under my right shoulder-​blade. Shannon just obliterated that pain. She seems to know instinctively where you are holding tension, tension you didn’t even know you had, and then forces it out of you. I can not sing her praises enough. I crawled off that table and about collapsed into a puddle. I’d like to move to whatever planet she’s from, please.

You don’t have to be scheduled for spa services to shop here. Galleria Day Spa is also a retailer of fine cosmetic and bath goods. Normally I only use Japanese bath soaps, salts and shampoos but with only 3 Japanese grocery stores in the entire state of Texas they are difficult to obtain at reasonable prices. I have found the soap selection here to be unique to the area and service is always relaxed and friendly. Lots of easy parking too.

I have been a faithful customer of GDS for a number of years. Not only do I visit Jackie, who works miracles, but I also purchase gift certificates for both of my children. My son comes in from Austin on a regular basis for a facial provided by Jackie and my daughter is also one of her faithful clients. As for massage, there is no better place. My daughter suffers from back pain and comes out of her sessions feeling like a new woman. In addition, there are always great finds for gifts in the salon!

Shannon exceeds every expectation! She takes her time and can work out even the worst knots without making you leap off the table while still allowing you to relax. Thank you Shannon!

I have gotten many massages and facials over the years from amazing spas around the world, however, none compare to the quality I have experienced at Galleria Day Spa. After multiple wonderful experiences there I want to share my impressions. Firstly, Jackie (Esthetician) works wonders. I have been working with her for two and a half months bi-​weekly to weekly. My skin has never felt or looked better, and it shows not only in my personal opinion, but in complements from friends and strangers. Yes, strangers complemented my skin! I couldn’t be more grateful. When it comes to massages Diane is incredible. She knows just how to fix chronic issues, or simply help you relax. She is extremely knowledgeable; The first time I went to her was for a continuing couples massage (where she teaches you how to do basic massage essentially) she was patient since we were both slow learners and picked up on things I would have considered. Later, I went to her for a deep tissue massage and hands down it was the best massage I have ever received. I have had more massages over the course of my life than I could even consider counting, and Diane sticks out as the very best. I can only imagine that the their other professionals are just as skilled and wonderful if both Diane and Jackie are booked :)
